I have filed a death claim for my father kishor roy on[protected] against his policy no.[protected]. (Branch code - 430).
I was not given any receipt for the same, and i was said to drop the claim documents in a drop box outside the door. But till date the policy status is showing 'in force' when i checked it online.
The concerned person said that claim amount will be credited within 15 days. But, till date policy status remains 'in-force'.
I tried to contact the branch over the phone, but unfortunately the number was out of service.
We are already harassed due to covid, now if we have to visit the branch for follow-up then it would be added harassment. Further, i worried if the claim documents got misplaced then what should we do.. As i mentioned earlier that i was not provided any receipt.
Requesting you to please speed-up the procedure, and make some way to contact over the phone due to the current situation.
Not only this, when i called lic customer care, i was given a fake complaint no. And said that complaint has been registered, then when i again called lic customer care and asked for the complaint no. Then i was told that no complaint has been registered.
Life Insurance Corporation of India [LIC] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
