I am Mahesh Shelke, nominee for the two LIC policies ( Policy numbers: 1.[protected] & 2.[protected] of my mother Sumanbai Shelke.
Unfortunately my mother is no more and I did surrender the policies to Chalisgaon branch on 27-Feb-2018 with the bank details of mine.
As we all are humans and we do mistakes, so I did. I had given the details of closed account and unfortunately I did realize it too late and by the time I realized it, the NEFT was done by LIC to the mentioned account. I am sure this transaction would have failed since the account is closed by the bank.
As soon as I realized my mistake, I did visit LIC Chalisgaon branch on 16- March-2018 and provided fresh documents (bank details of active account which is Cheque xerox as a proof) to Mr. Nikam from claims department. He had told me that within 8 days, I will be getting the expected amount. So far, I haven't received the same.
Please help me asap.
