Hi Chroma/Havells Team,
I bought the AC online from Tata Neu which is Chroma partner and AC belongs to Havel/LLoyd Company.
This is regarding my Croma order TC[protected]. The product was delivered on Friday, 21st March, and installation was completed the same day. However, the installation team immediately confirmed that the product is defective, as it displays an E6 error.
Since Friday, I have been continuously following up via customer care, but every single time, I receive the same generic response — that I will get a call within 24 hours and a technician will visit. It has now been 72 hours, and nothing has changed. I have called multiple times today, only to be told the same thing again.
Also, Today on 27th March'2025, Someone picked up to come garbage new ac which is not working but since it was installed so they called customer care and said its installed and they will not be able to pick this up. It has to be uninstalled by chroma/havells team and then they can pick it up.
Why should a customer suffer due to such mismanagement and as of now, Pune's temperature is very high.
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the extremely poor service I have experienced after purchasing an air conditioner from your store.
The AC delivered to us is non-functional right from the beginning, and despite raising a complaint, it has now been over 7 days with absolutely no response or resolution from your team. This is completely unacceptable, especially considering that the full payment was made well in advance.
It is shocking that a brand like Chroma with Havells would ignore a customer’s repeated follow-ups regarding a defective product. The delay in replacement is causing significant inconvenience and suffering, especially during this peak summer period.
I demand an immediate resolution, including either a replacement unit or a full refund, along with a formal apology for the lack of response and service. If I do not receive a concrete response within 24 hours, I will be forced to escalate this matter to consumer forums and take appropriate legal action.
I am looking this to get replaced in 24 hours else will have to go to consumer court now marked in cc.
I hope your team values its customers and takes swift action to rectify this situation without any further delays.
