I have been a frequent user of the free site, - "locanto" for many years, successfully posting free ads, without a problem.
I am now unable to do so.
When i press the, -"post a free ad" button, the site will not allow me to post my ad.
I have tries to contact the site, using the '-"contact" button, & submitting my enquiry/complaint, however, my enquiry will not be accepted/sent, & a message comes up in the screen saying,...

Somebody has put up a fake ad in my name and has given my contact no.in the ad, which is asking for sexual encounters, i am getting texts and calls on my number which is very stressful.
I request locanto to delete the ad and find the one responsible for this.
Everyday i am getting texts messages, whatsapp, calls and calls on whatsapp too regarding lewd matters, receiving sexual texts that is mentally stressful. Please see to this. How can i take legal actions to find the culprit and punish him/her.

I would like to inform you that a person has created many personal (Massage parlour) adds and added my number for message and calls. The user id simran820 (Number could be different) has created the add. My number is [protected] which is provided in the add.

This is to inform u that there an ad has been posted by mohi15 and is an fraud as it takes payment through paytm the no. Which remains switched off and after advance the user blocks them up and according to my inquiry u must have observed that no. Is [protected] but in one ad its [protected]and after contact its the girl voice but she is not ready to speak up her name. So i think locanto website should be removed or locanto must take some action against them if locanto cant take then alone i am there just some persons i need to remove them up.

This is in part to a previous complaint i noticed regarding fake views in which i tried to leave my two cents and it was not posted up.

I’ve experience issues with locanto india and could never figure it out why view counts ran so high. I work for a company that advertises home decorations. At the start when i worked placing ads on locanto i noticed immediately that i started to get visitors. This got me and my boss really excited, so we expanded. We use the locanto usa website and pretty much sell across the united states.

Within the first two months we noticed that it was pretty much not generating anything. It doesn’t make sense that out of literally thousands of visitors being displayed in www.locanto.com product views, not one call came in from the classified indian website.in fact, craigslist.com and backpage.com generated more leads with less ads placed and less cities focused on.

I 100% agree that locanto isn’t 100% open and honest with how analytical information is being displayed and can have mislead companies and sell products that are useless because numbers are not accurate. We no longer post advertisements on free classifieds – locanto united states.

Someone has posted an advertisement saying that i am doing some sort of personnel services with my mobile number. I am getting many unwanted enquirers regarding that. Below two mobile are used to provide message service on online dating service locanto. Beware of these numbers [protected] vishal kumar and lady named as kavita [protected] in bangalore city. Both of them are fraudlently collecting money on paytm and not providing any service. Today i faced this issue by paying 2700/- rs. Once they fetch the money they will either block the phone number or disconnect the call. Kindly locanto service and consumer desk look into this issue and provide the justice. And also take some action on these hooligans.

Someone who was not me used my picture and created an account with the username of hazelng38 and created an ad looking for a sugarbaby. Party went around replying to various sexual ads (ads looking for sexual services or sugar babies etc) and placed my number there. This had led to a lot o[censored]nknown number messaging me up and many calls. This is affecting and disrupting my personal life, please assist me with removing this fake account immediately.

Somebody created a fake account of mine in locanto with the username femila69 which is my name and using my personal phone number with a fake ad, ad id [protected]. People are calling me in my personal number i am getting disturbed. I belong to a reputed family. Please remove the fake account on my name and phone number. Please remove my phone number. Please help now otherwise i will visit cybercrime office now and your app will be harmed
