SEVERE DAMAGE

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.
I WENT TO A LOREAL AUTHORIZED AND TRAINED BEUTICIAN ON 19TH DECEMBER 2009 TO GET A TREATMENT WORTH RS 2000/- WHICH WILL SMMOTHEN AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF MY HAIR. ONCE IT WAS DONE I NOTICED A SMALL BALD PATCH IN THE FRONT OF MY HEAD. THE BEAUTICIAN TOD ME THAT ITS LOOKED LIKE A BALD PATCH BECAUSE MY HAIR IS SLIGHTLY STRAIGHTENED.. ONCE I GOT HOME , I TRIED COMBING IT TO COVER THE PATCH WITH HAIR. TO MY SHOCK...

I am a regular user of Loreal colour, but today when i opened box of same one tube of extra protective cream colourant was missing and in cream developer bottlel there was 10ml cream against 72ml,
B NO:B52741, DT:31/01/2009, Rs459.Purchased from Spencer, Saurya inn Arcade, Sakchi, Jamshedpur-831001.DT 2/05/2009, BILL NO 13140 .

I too am an avid user of Loreal Hair Products. I have never ever had any problems with any of their products as packaged. Everything that was supposed to be in the box was there...nothing missing and no shortages of product amounts. I am thinking that the problem you described may be real, but mind you, you live in India. This never happens in the USA. Loreal is one of most honest and reputable companies in our country. I am thinking that the problem is from your country.

    My wife and sister had booked an makeup appointment (2 months in advance) for our wedding reception, for which an advance was paid and the requirements communicated to the lady at the desk. However, upon reached the parlour on the actual day they were rudely refused the service. The lady (supposedly the owner) insisted that they must get a reception makeup done instead of a party makeup that they both wanted. (My wife got her wedding makeup done at the same parlour)
    My wife and sister donot like heavy makeup and wanted a light makeup, the lady who attended to them 2 months back had suggested to get a party makeup done as that suited their needs.
    This rude lady returned the booking amount but wasted 1 hour of theirs and left them stranded on such a crucial day. It was our luck that the two of them were accomodated by a nearby parlour and the makeup was done according to their requirement.
    We ofcourse reached at our own reception one and a half hour late. I wish to sue L'oreal for mental harrassment / trauma faced by us due to their unprofessional services.

    I agree with you, looking goos esp.for reception is very important for the women and it will be such a mental stress for the lady, u should lodge a complaint with their headquarters in India and notify everybody u know that they will face the same situation on their big day too!
    yes, they feel they are brand, customer has to come, dont have any other option so they do what ever they feel.I myself also faced so many time, their service and not doing service in the way customer wants, but they impose their own foolish ideas
    I have a strong feeling that they donot use even right product also. Because for my hair color they promised me it will last for six months but it vanished within two weeks only. I doubt whether they have really used loreal products and charges were too high which i have paid

    The attitude of the staff and reception is terrible. They act as if they are doing a favor to us. The costs are also not standardized and there was no menu card to choose from. Will not go there again.
    They are ofcourse very rude. We got smoothening done from them and the results were not as expected. They now refuse to help, may be they are use to of all this.
    Try asking the shop for a rate card and see the fun. We asked for one and they did not show it to us!
