LT Online Store — Asking extra payment 7 days after confirming order | |||||
I ordered 3 copies of Microsoft Office Home+Business 2017 on their website on 17 March 2017. They charged my credit card for a total of Rs. 43, 411.70 which included Rs. 803.92 for shipping insurance, a charge which was never disclosed until payment. On 24 March at 7 pm I received an email from them asking for an additional payment of Rs. 3, 293. This was followed by a phone call on 25th March morning asking why I hadn't paid the extra amount. I pointed out that the order was confirmed and paid for 7 days ago and that now they could not ask for anything extra, and that they should deliver the product immediately. They directed me to their website and said it was part of their terms and conditions and that they could not do anything. They offered to cancel the order but the money would be credited only after 15 days. The resolution I want is for them to immediately deliver the product as originally agreed, without asking for extra payment. Was this information helpful? | |||||

You probably have to bring these into consumer complaints which is handled by government of India and not 'here'. Or visit to the nearest consumer affairs court and log a case against the company.

Chor company, Don't buy anything, I placed order of Web cam on this store on 6th June 2020, till date neither get product nor refund. No customer care number is functional. One day they picked up the mobile phone. [protected] and asked about the delivery they told me that material is not available. Cancel the order. They cancelled the order but money not refunded till date. Now not picking up the phone.
