Madrasshoppe — Order for books not fulfilled and No response to complaints

For one month, I did not receive ordered books, nor did they respond to my several complaints. Called [protected], calls were disconnected with a standard message that they will respond on whatsapp, which they did not.

I then submitted complaint to National Consumer Helpline, PayTM (who did the UPI transfer) and then shared complaint reference number to [protected]. Within minutes I got the refund.

Madrasshoppe might have internal problems. Either they should stop taking money or honour the orders.

I hope Government puts a protocol and a quick redressal mechanism as online frauds can easily swindle large amounts of money from gullible people.

Hi can you please tell how to file complaint on them ? They cheated me a huge amount and now not responding. I have sent 100 WhatsApp messages and mails with no response, but they are online. They even sent me a fake refund id which was invalid.
