I request for a refund and action against the owner in the light of the issue described below.

I'm a student, seeking an accommodation for a month's span for coming down to Mumbai for my internship during my summer break.

I'm complaining about an owner who has taken refundable advance and is now refusing to refund when we ask for cancelation. This is about Sunil PG, Lower Parel, Mumbai. He had been making rounds of calls to us to push to pay the refundable advance amount since last night (22nd June, 2022). We had shared our contact details on the site to connect with the owner yesterday itself. The owner shared videos of his PG outlet, the amenities and the rooms and promised us that an amount of 2000 rupees should be sent to make the booking confirmed and later if we plan on cancelling, he would return that share of money and if we plan to stay, then it gets adjusted in the total amount being charged as per the website.

I and a friend of mine paid 2000 rupees each to make the booking for a triple occupancy room at Sunil PG, this morning. We were asked to share our Aadhar details and were told that we will receive verification calls. I received the call and was asked questions regarding my stay, my purpose of visiting Mumbai and about my college. Later he made some more calls and asked for more money which is also going to be refundable. When I told him, I don't understand the process and would want my earlier money to be refunded, he denied.

He kept asking us to pay the extra amount of 5000 while we were on the call itself. It is genuinely a fraud and I would like to bring this to your notice as we came to the website for the website's credibility and goodwill. If this is how we are being trapped into frauds and have to turn victims to cyber crime than I am sorry to say but the website is not verifying the agents and properties well.

I received the call from MB representative that there are property listed on MB in the area where I am looking for, Under MB prime I will be getting direct details of owner. MB prime cost me Rs 4999. He also told me that if I got property from somewhere else then the entire amount will be refunded only an agreement is necessary to ask for the refund.
I was desperate to move and paid it. But after logging in the MBprime all the properties...

My brother was looking for a rental property in Mumbai and he chose your service, but was really disappointed. We don't expect fraudulent activity from a company like you.
My brother has paid a certain amount to you for listing down the owner's contact details for house on rent, and after 2 or 3 people contacted my brother. you and your team did not receive our calls nor are they calling us back for any review.

We want our money to be refunded or compensate us with the best service.

On 9th June 2022, we saw a partner verified ad on Magicbricks for a coed hostel in Mumbai Central with the owner as Anil Kumar (Contact no.[protected]) . All the photos were verified and so, we requested that the Contact be shared. I received a SMS from Magicbricks mentioning the Contact number of the owner. He demanded to deposit a security amount of Rs.3000 which we did as in Mumbai the properties are sold at the blink of an eye. Later,...

I had purchased a titanium package one month ago...They told me that free listing is going on so the package you bought will not show in the app.. Instead, they told me to use their portal for which I was using also, but as soon as the free listing got over my ad and everything vanished.. When I started to complain about this to the person from whom I had bought the package they started neglecting my call. It's such a fraudulent real estate portal and the persons working there are also a big fraud including the top management... As soon as you make your payment their goal gets accomplished.. If someone sees my post I kindly suggest them not to waste their hard earned money on this fraudulent organization.

I am a flat owner from Bangalore, on magicbricks.com (Property ID:[protected] on the 5th of March. I purchased a money-back plan with Rs. 4200, In which the condition was that I will get 100% money back if I find a tenant before magicbricks. Post the purchase, the relationship manager was not assigned and when assigned after multiple mail exchanges she asked me what is the rent I would like to mention for the property. I have mentioned that I can quote for 20K on the website and but I can go down up to 18k. (Attached is the screenshot) Also, I have asked her if I quote for 20K and get a tenant for 18K whether it will be a problem to get the refund. She told me it's not a problem if you share with us the agreement of 18K you will get the complete refund and I have mentioned that in the backend. I have waited for almost 2 months and on the 1st of May I got a tenant I called her and she has informed me it will be not a problem to get the refund if I share the agreement. I shared the agreement with her on WhatsApp on the 1st of May and followed up with her multiple times on a refund but there is no response from her. I have called magic bricks after one month and they have told me that there is no request for a refund has been raised and they have taken a request. However, they rejected my refund request by quoting that We regret to inform you that we are unable to process the refund as you have rented out your property for 18, 000/-, but according to our data, you have mentioned 20, 000/. Your rent is lower than the amount you had specified. Hence, you are not eligible for a refund. But this is clearly against what has been agreed with the relationship manager. She mentioned that if I rent out the property up to 18K I will get the refund but magicbricks not providing me the refund. Please help me to get justice.

I have been duped by a person whose number I got from magicbricks. On the pretext of booking the pg online the person asked me to pay a total of Rs 31588 and later when I said that I don't want to book the pg online the person asked me to pay a total amount of Rs 8000 to get the entire refund back. After some time when I called the person he did not pick any calls and did not refund my money even after me cancelling the booking.

I was contacted by below two numbers regarding my house for rent.

Requested for photos of my house to discuss with family and revert back with decision.
Then requested to send GPAY ID which is rejected.
Then I have searched internet to verify about the called army person.
Identified that many of them lost money due to their trap.

I request to please take action on these guys and save other innocent people.

I had posted my property AD (property ID[protected] on 24 Apr 2022 under Titanium Plan with 6 months validity by paying Rs. 2768 as per guidance of Sourav (Mob No- +[protected] Magicbricks Call centre. Now I cannot see the responses of the buyers and magicbricks prompts me to pay again online. Sourav do not answer on whatsapp now. This is shear cheating the Magicbricks.com. I request you to unlock the access of the website immediately.

Hello. I bought a Platinum Package with this ### company and they are absolutely not helpful in even a simple locality correction, saying they say it as a major change. Absolutely ### group, no responses from CUSTOMERs except for their sales rep trying to up-sell, calling in droves.

I was scammed saying that the person Aniket Vijay Kalbhor from CISF Dept. wants my house for rent.
I asked him to pay deposit amount of 50000INR.
He asked me to pay him 50000 INR via GooglePay as he will send me 1lakh INR in return[due to CISF terms and conditions].
I sent him 1 rupee two times to check and third time I sent him 5000 rupees.
He blocked me after that and my money is gone.

There are several complaints on the same person Aniket Vijay Kalbhor on Twitter, facebook, consumer complaints, googl etc.

I want my hard earned money back, please help.

Before I buying the valuation package your team member Himanshu Dixit committed to me that if you are not satisfied with the valuation report or answers given by Valuer, so that case he was going to refund my money back. Even after 12-13 days Himanshu Dixit has not refunded my money back.Morevet he is giving false information to me that refund process is already initiated.
Kindly refund my money back on priority basis.

None of the executives respond. Said first about availability of RM with phone number. He never exists. High-level marketing person appeared on what's app collected information from A to Z and disappeared

I was promised lots of good things and i bought their money back package (Rental Guaranty) and till date i haven't got any call from my relationship manager (Vaishanavi) and when i try to connect with her she reject my call everytime.
I want my money back. Completely scam company.
I contacted their customer care but they don't have any info why this is happening and completely clueless.

I created a rental agreement by paying 399 INR Order #4164065 for Rent Agreement Digital Pack on 24th April 2022.

They claim to process the document within 2 working days but it has been more than 12 days, even after my multiple calls to their customer support I did not receive any emails with the agreement.

I called them 3 times and provided all the information needed along with emails and each time their executive consulted with their team and assured me that document will be delivered by End Of day on my email.

I want them to process my document and deliver it to my email As soon as possible.

There's a pg registered as verified partner on magicbricks which is at mumbai central, mumbai.
The app shows them verified but it is actually fake.
I have been frauded on the name of pre booking and now the guy is not refunding the amount. On what basis do you mention them as verified?
Kindly mark him as spam and get my amount refunded.

Most pathetic service. Their agent naman singh called me as he knew I was looking to sell my property. He spoke nicely n ensured I purchased titanium plus. Within 5 mins after that he stopped responding to my msgs n calls. There is no call from magic bricks after my payment. I wasted 3800 rs of my hard earned money ok these bunch o[censored]nprofessional unethical people. Anyone needs feedback please call me and I will tell details about these agents from magic bricks

I bought a gold ad pro package through the customer care help and I paid 3080 rupees in march 22, 2022. I am not able to change the rent details and if I want the company is asking me to pay another 3000 rupees for just changing the rent amount. I have paid for their service and I don't have control over my listing. I had changed the rent amount to 1.6 lakh by mistake instead of 16000 but now I am not able to revert back to the correct amount. This is happening to many people and no action is being taken by anyone. If some regulatory body is available for online companies which loot customers like this with their pathetic business ideas then that regulatory body is not doing enough work to put these companies behind bars.

One of the magic bricks executive promise me that I'll be able to get owner's contact number, once I'll take the membership of Magic bricks and after taking the membership ( after making the payment), I'm not getting any owner contact as well that customer executive also stop responding ( blocked me). In short they made false promises and take away my money...highly disappointed.
I want my money back...

I had paid 4, 999 to Magi bricks as Gold package where they promise me to give Local Relationship manager and Prime membership in their application. But still after 13 Dyas Not getting their services. Sales person Not picking Calls After once payment done. I had complaint lots of time direct to magic bricks but there not solving my problem and just give me hope that our senior team will call back but never Got call. There Follow Up team just call me and tell me that will call you soon back but never any senior team call me or contact me.
