I am writing a complaint in regards to the electricity bill for the consumer number[protected]. FROM MSEB, Lonavala billing Unit 0884.

I have not been using more electricity than before and I have not been using any power-consuming large electrical appliances. Since more than one year, the opening meter reading in my bill for the above consumer number is constant and the reading shown 5471 as opening units since April 2021.
Previously the readings were not taken as there was some display problem in my meter, so we installed a new meter as per the instruction from your person more than a year back. Even after installing the new meter, still no one has visited to record the reading every month and the bill is charged to me on average reading.
I have also many times uploaded the reading plus my representative has personally taken the reading and submitted at to the concerned person at the MSEB office, but the same is never recorded.
I am getting and average bill with opening unit of 5471 every month from last April 2021 and till date the same opening unit is continuing every month and average consumption of 101 unit is charged. In the bill for the month of May 2021 and April 2022 the opening unit is same and consumption unit is charged on average which is not correct.
My representative has visited their office several times and reported this problem, he was always informed that you pay the current bill and the same will be corrected and excess amount will be adjusted in the next month’s bill. Till date no action has been taken nor has anyone from the MSEB department visited to record the meter reading. Was this information helpful? |
