Consumer type: lt

Issue: since last 2 months, i have been getting extremely high consumption units in my electricity bill.
If you check my history, my consumption units from 2017 nov to 2018 march is on an average 120.
However, for may 2018, my consumption unit was 550
And for june 2018, i got a bill today with consumption unit of 441.

5 days of the week, i am not even at home.
There is definitely something wrong with the meter. Requesting you to please check it asap and give me an updated bill based on correct reading.

I live in kamothe there is frequently power cut off in our area for 5 hrs long why this is so... Why don't this electricity board keep this load shading in all areas for shorter periods only we are suffering because there is no issue of load shading in other areas of Navi mumbai or mumbai.
My cunsumer number is[protected] and BU is 4652...i paid my electricity bill twice..how can i get refund for the same

    This is the issue of faulty meter and giving light bill of 13, 000. When we give complaint officers are not available and they said we don't have new meter. It's not a consumer issue while giving in written complaint three times no action is taken. This is the area of nallasopara east. Ever shine city..401209.
    There is line of people who are suffering from same issue and one officers is always busy in dealing with this matter so you can imagine how worse the condition is. And officers not giving proper answers.
    Really waiting for privatisation then only staff will work properly.

      My complaints on 5.3.18 meter not working.. Reminder dt
      ./2.5.18/11.5.18/14.5.18/23.5.18... Meter replaced.. Also complaint to you. My compl. No[protected]..
      But bill amt not corrected. My office timing 8.30 to 6 pm... Engineer visited
      But complaint not solved. Last month assistant engg.. Corrected it made it to 2000... This month also bill recd 4360.

      Pl make full enquiry and correct my bills for last 8 months.. And refund excess bill paid

      We all mfg units at dhumal nagar, vasai east facing extreme power failure from last 15 days.Power not available for almost whole day.No one attend complaints..It creates huge human labour loss & financial loss..Once rain starts, it seems they immd cut off the power..

      Rain come & weather not good this time power supply close I will understand but after rainfall stop then start to supply but his long time wetting.your harsool division office landline phone not pick up after call.
      last 2-3 day after 9:00pm to 12:00 power supply close please solve the issue

        Problem:- from past 1 year the meter is blank and non-functional, nobody takes the meter reading. Still the bill is generated with high amount, amount should have been the minimal of rs. 60, because nobody stays at this house. We visit only once a month. We raised several complaints to the wada electricity officer, after several visits they suggested to pay the previous bill amount of rs. 1560/- and they shall regularize it for next months. But this regularization is still not done, although we do pay the minimum amount of rs. 60 after the payment of rs. 1560/- even though it was incorrect amount billed. And still the electricity is stopped. Why?
        My parents are old and it should not be expected from them to visit the office for such requests multiple times. It is shameful to see such basic issues happening and not being resolved for over months. If basic work is not being done as expected, what customer service are you offering and why are we paying heavy taxes?
        There are multiple requests logged on the mahadiscom site but no update.

            Hi,...

            I stay at vasai evershine city, in the month of feb/mar i had suddenly recieved a bill of 38000, whereas my flat was locked for 3 months from nov 2017 to feb 2018.

            I raised a complaint through the mahadiscom portal also, and i visited at least 7 times in the mahavitran office located at vasai east, and every time i met mr gokhale he says ho jhayega aap tension mat lo, till date my complaint is not resolved, last month also they asked to pay 91/- which has been paid, but bill is not reversed.. Pls check

              I live in phursungi area saswad road and just beside phursungi power house, i am facing an issue of frequent power cut whole day which varies fron10-15time regular cut off and that happens every day, the local complaints phone number is always busy, and the customer care number not working, and from past 1 year they aren't giving any solution on this

                I have paid the bill for the month of april via paytm app and it shows successfully paid with the money seen to have been deducted from my account, but the payment is not reflected in the system and this month ie, for the month of may, i have been charged double.

                It is really disappointing to see how awful the system updates are and also to see there is nearly no fast helpline service to address the customer.
                Disheartened.

                  Sir, i m apply for electric connection, electricity board provide connection, but electric meter not providing and continuously said that unavailability of meter. Further junior engeeneer threaten that the i m responsible for all that thing and said that whenever meter available that i m suppose to use electricity. I m facing serious inconvenience of electricity. Full payment done and all formalities completed by my side. Plase provide meter and solve the inconvenience. Please tell who should be responsible for such condition. What should i do for fair justice.

                        Since a few months we are getting bill crossing an amount of 1500 rs, many a it's[protected] which is not possible as we just have, a single door refrigerator, 5 led bulbs (Use in night), 2 fans used for 15 hours in a day, an iron hardly used, tv with no daily usage, a mixer hardly used, 2 mobile chargers, and a wifi router, that's all.
                        I request you to please look into the matter.

                          The current meter units is 70 at the time of sending this mail but in the bill its given 336 units.

                          Bill for may month:
                          The current bill amount shown is rs.1, 880
                          Previous bill amount was rs. 60

                            There has been many power cuts in our area from last 3 days. According to the rule, mseb has to inform it's customers priorly about the power cuts via sms. But these are unplanned and unregulated power cuts. This happens seven to eight times in a day atleast and also in the night.
                            We are facing lot of troubles here. I had called them on their official contact number for lodging complaints, but it's no good. Please look into this matter

                                Hi i have complained multiple number of times that my meter reading is not being captured for meter no:[protected]
                                Billing unit number: 4610

                                And you option to submit meter reading online also does not work

                                Have infromed all the above on mail unlimited number of times on toll free number and emails but no action has been taken!!!

                                I dont stand responsible to pay a huge bill at once because of your mis management

                                  Dear sir,
                                  I have a domestic connection and my consumer no. Is[protected] under billing unit 4683/trimurti nagar s/dn./nagpur.
                                  Last month my meter was changed and i received the bill of 207 units that was the closing unit of the previous meter. I had paid the bill of rs. 1580/- in due date.
                                  This month i received a bill of 461 units (Current reading) and additional 317 units (Sama. Units) i. E. Total 778 units.
                                  Sir, i have no bills pending on my name, then how come this additional 317 units have been charged in my bill. Please rectify the bill and issue me a fresh bill of regular 461 units.

                                    Its about city - chalisgaon, dist. - jalgaon
                                    I agreed that if problem is generated that should be solved and till then the power may not be on. But here whenever its raining, they cut the power supply, and maybe or maybe not solving the problem, they cut power supply for whole night. It happens more oftenly here, even for slight raining, they cut the power. And each time if it's heavy rainfall, they cut off the power for the whole night, and sometimes for the next day even.
                                    Even for today, it was heavy rainfall, they cut the power, and when raining stopped, still the power was not retained. Once again, there was a power cut for the whole night.
                                    It becomes much more difficult to spent the whole night without power. And its becomes worst when exam is going on.
                                    It would be very helpful if you could solve the problem.

                                      Since last three months we are getting high electricity bill. We have very limited things at home however we are still getting high bill.

                                      Last six month bill attached for your reference and i was vary less. Also saturday 16th jun unit is 946.

                                      Respected sir/maam, i have been raising complaints and giving follow up calls to the msed customer care in regards to high bill due to faulty meter but no action has been taken. The first complaint was registered in january and till date i have registered 3 complaints for high bill. The bills rose from 930rs to 17170rs then to 1710rs then to 4030 rs last month and this month again 5160rs with no additional electrical addition. Please help in getting this sorted as the complaints are not being looked into and i cannot continue nor afford to pay such high bills.
