Sir,

I am your consumer having consumer no[protected]. I have received an inflated bill for june 2020 for rs 16, 060/-. I am giving below the consumption of my electricity since april 2019.

From the above you can see that the maximum consumption is 324 units. We are also both retired pensioners and are at home throughout the day since over a year.

After i have received your intimation for payment of the bill i have checked my daily usage, and it is between 6 -8 units per day. Your latest bill shows reading as of 20/06/2020 as 11576 units and when i checked on 27/06/2020 the meter reading was showing as 11632 units, ie 56 units in 7 days, which come to 240 units for 30 days. Even if you calculate 240*3 mths for apr, may and june the total comes to 720units, whereas you have charged me for 1653 units.

Sir, i therefore request your kindselves to please correct the bill and send me the corrected bill for payment as soon as possible.

    Dear sir/madam,
    1. My complaint pertains to non adjustment of payment made in may-june 20 in the june 20 bill. Details are given below:-
    (A) number o[censored]nits as on 17 april 20 (Reflected in bill and picture also shared on app)= 9440
    (B) number o[censored]nits as on 15 june 20 (As per bill & site visit)= 10421
    (C) difference between (A) & (B) = 981 units (For entire lockdown period)
    (D) charged during lockdown period = 293 (May bill) + 981 (June bill)=1274 units — paid extra rs 5140/- during may itself as per flat rate / as per pattern since no meter reading was taken. This amount is not adjusted in june bill which still shows 981 units which is actually for entire lockdown period.
    (E) june 20 bill amount = rs 8010/-

    2. Based on the breakup as explained above, you are requested to please adjust this exces paid rs 5140/- in next bill.

      Hello

      I have already paid bills as per below information
      Please check records and remove excessive amount from the bill of month june2020 which is 2030 rs. And give me finale amount so i can pay immediately.

      Paid bills are as follows
      April 2020, paid 330 on 20th april 2020
      May 2020, paid 550 on 28th may 2020

      I know this is very difficult time for all o[censored]s but i hope you understand the pandamic has also affected economy of every person, the false amount in the bills needs to be removed.

        This is regarding the steep rise in electricity bill. I am shocked to find out my bill as 5930 rs. I have never come across such a loot of electricity money. How is this possible that i have such a high bill. When i did'nt even switch on the ac during this time. It seems the electricity checker has just put up some figure which he feels is his fancy. You can check my electricity bills during all months its never more than 1000 rs average, then how come i have such a bill.

        I strongly protest against such a loot. As it is i am out of job and find it difficult to pay house rent on top of it you are sending such an atrocious bill which is unacceptable.

        I want a reply to this as to why this has happened and a reduction in the bill to my average bill which i was being charged else i will be taking you to court along with the kharghar association backing me.

            This is with regards to the over billing that "Mahavitaran" - Bharat billpay - Consumer no# is[protected] Santosh K Nair - I had been using my electricity very sensibly over many months on months and never exceeded my bill more than around Rs.2600 in worst case (you can check the record very well). However, l feel that there is absolutely a loot which is happening by taking the undue advantage of the lockdown by MSEB company. This is really absurd and ridiculous this time that my electricity bill this time is hiking up to Rs. 6330/- which is unbelievable and unethical business practice of robing the customers in the name of Lockdown.

            However, I would really like to understand why my bill this time is very high and making absolutely no sense to me and I don't understand this number of Rs. 6330/-. There are number of customers everywhere who are affected and are paying 3 to 4 times as to what they where paying. May I request to please investigate the issue on very high priority as this is really blasting my hard earned monies please.

                This is completely InHuman act of MSEB!!
                During pandemic without proper validations and meter readings they are charging bills as per thier own wish randomely!!!

                I am going to put a twitter by putting the all the March till date bills and hashtagging to PM Modi and CM Thakre, if they do not refund the amount which is claimed!!!

                Completely devastated to see these bills!!!

                None of the numbers given on thier site are working!!!

                I called them almost 55 times but number keep coming busy or not in working condition or some technical issues!!!

                  The bill amount is very high for the month of june 2020. The meter reading is showing very high units of electricity consumption which must be really faulty. I know you have deducted the past 2 months of paid bills. But still, there are mistakes in the calculations of the bill and the amounts charged. Please rectify it. Thanks.

                    Electricity bill complaint : customer number :[protected]

                    During the lockdown, i got above 7000 bill which is wrong, my three months bill was due and my every previous bill never cost me 2000 per month. If we see history of my bills it never crossed 1500, if suppose we consider 1000 rupees per month bill then also its 3000 and some fine will be there, but how can 7000. I hope you will look into that. I only use 2 fans 1 tv and some lights which are often off at the daytime, i think there is some misconception happened please look into that, during this pandemic time, how one can pay this big amount of above 7000 rupees. Please give a correct bill. Thank you

                      My meter reading of this month is 549 as my last 6 months meter readings are 134 to 150 units. Last month also i have paid 2 bills which of 820 and 1030 amount.

                      Request you to check the issue. This issue is not with me for others as well in our area.

                                  Hi i am poonam aman narsu residing in optima heights in kesnand and our consumer bill no is[protected]. We always receive electricity bill around 500-600 and normal reading per month is around maximum 90-100 units.in june we have received a reading as 670 unit. This is shocking and absolutely not affordable.
                                  Normal bill charges around 500-600, but for the month of june 2020, i have received the rs 4270/- electricity bill. We have never in life, received such a high bill amount. We have already paid the bill till april 2020.

                                  Msedcl should check the system and revert with revised and correct bills. We are middle class people we can't afford to pay such huge amount. Awaiting for immediate action.

                                    My normal bill is around[protected]. During the lockdown i had even submitted the reading and paid a bill of 5100 in may 2020.

                                    Still the bill for june 2020 is 12950.

                                    This is too high considering that couple of days there was complete electricity shutdown due to cyclone and intermittently electricity failures are very common now.

                                      My average bill is from the last 7-8 month in between
                                      Rs 400-500.

                                      Now the current month [june 2020] ebill amount is rs 2700. This is never expected nor the we consume the that much electricity to get this bill.
