I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the bus service I experienced on 22nd September 2023. Below are the details of my journey:

• Bus Depot: Wai Depot
• Bus No.: MH 14 BT 4595
• Travel Ticket No.: 0048232
• Route: Wai to Kalyan
• Journey: Wai to Dombivali
Nature of Complaint:
1. Delayed Departure: The scheduled departure time was 6:45 AM, but the bus arrived at 7:00 AM, causing an initial delay.
2. Poor Condition of the Bus: The condition of the bus was extremely poor, both interior and exterior. This is unacceptable for a long-distance journey.
3. Fueling Delay: The bus was not fueled at Wai Depot and had to detour to Khandala Paragon for refueling, causing an additional delay of 20-25 minutes.
4. Safety Concerns: A tyre was placed inside the bus in front of the emergency window, posing a serious safety hazard.
5. Disparity in Bus Quality: I have observed that buses on shorter routes like Swargate and Satara are in much better condition. It is disappointing to see such discrimination against passengers traveling to Kalyan.
As a passenger on a 5-6 hour journey, I expect a bus in good condition to ensure a comfortable and safe trip. I had requested a better bus at the enquiry window, but was directed to speak to the senior person, Mr. Jadhav, who was not available in his cabin at that time.
I request you to look into this matter urgently and provide an explanation for the poor service and the apparent disparity in bus quality. I hope necessary actions will be taken to prevent such issues in the future.
