Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I Abdul Rashid Khanday, writing this mail to you with regards to the
issue of the warranty on my vehicle XUV 500, which is only on 48783 km
right now. Actually, my vehicle had a service due and was under the
warranty till March 2020 or till 100000 km. But, unfortunately, due to
the lockdown, all the service centers and showrooms were closed and I
wasn't able to do the service of my vehicle.
Now that lockdown is lifted in our state Jammu and Kashmir, I went to
the MAHINDRA Shuhul Automobiles, Srinagar for the service of my
vehicle. The mechanic looked into the car and there were some problems
with the shockers of my car. He told that they need to be replaced for
the proper functioning of the car. They also told me I need to pay for
that as the warranty was over on March 2020 (during lockdown)
Now, I want Mahindra to look into this matter and extend my warranty
and cover the expenses because it was not my fault that I did not take
the car for service on time due to lockdown.
