Well this is to all the Gyaani/Mahagyaani people at Mahindra R&D facility.

I Bought a mahindra Thar in August this year, the primary function was to participate in Rallies and OTRs, which i assumed this car was made for. Did the Raid De Himalaya, finished it and we were impressed by the vehicle so far. Now 4 weeks back, the car hit a ditch at about 70 km/h and the front left Tyre & steering went totally out of alignment. I went to Koncept Mahindra Okhla(new elhi) and they straight away said that the knuckle has bent. OK i said and asked them to get it fixed, that's when i came to know the part is not available and its gonna take 7-8 days to get the part. i said ok to that too. a week later they called and said that the part is now available but if i want to claim insurance i have to go to their body shop which is Based in Tughlaqabad and Mr.Sushil sharma will take care of my case. Next day i went to the body shop where i was told that this might not be a bent knuckle and i should go to the MRF Tyre shop(which was across the road from there) and get the camber/Castor checked. at this point i started suspecting that even if that is the case why can't Mahindra do the check, after all they are the leading automobile manufacturers in India and they do have all the facilities at their centers, and why didn't the Service center tell me that when i went to them at first. Anyways, went on to get the alignment checked and he somehow corrected the angle of tires and told me the car is fine. Next day i had to take my family out of town and it was about 500 kms road trip, Believe me that was the scariest day of my life. The brakes were non existent, steering was totally berserk and all this time i was just wondering that the car was in such bad shape and it was such a dangerous situation but none of the Mahindra service advisers told me that, instead they just referred me to an outside shop. This was all happening while i was totally relying on their words and doing what they told me to do.

Now after the horrifying drive, next day early morning i called up Mr.Sushil Sharma and he told me to go to another Koncept Mahindra Service centre located at Mathura Road, Delhi, their the case was handed over to Mr.Raghav who is Service manager at that centre. Raghav told me that he will take 2 days and do a Thorough check of the vehicle and give me a final report about what exactly is wrong with the vehicle.

BTW its the 3rd week now.

After two days as promised Mr.Raghav told me verbally what was wrong with the vehicle(Note:no written report was given so far by any of mahindra service centers or body shop, this is all happening verbally) and asked me for permission to send the vehicle back to Body shop for insurance claim.

Car went to Body shop again for repairs but here comes another twist, Mr.Sushil sharma is no longer working here, now Mr.Mritunjay will handle the case. The insurance formalities began, the paperwork etc. and after 3 days the insurance claim was denied because there was no physical proof of the damage.(Note: Mr.Mritunjay was not available as he had to go attend some training session somewhere) At this point the car was sent back to Mr.Raghav at Mathura road Koncept and Mr.Raghv gave me a figure about the cash figure for repairs needed(Note: end of week 4). I gave them a go ahead and requested to make sure the vehicle is 100% OK and Mr.Raghav assured that it will be by the end of Day yesterday. he called around 5 pm saying you can come and pick up the vehicle and that they have checked and everything is alright now. they changed, Front both sides Tie rods, both front wheel bearing and the Knuckle(Note:this is a 3 month old vehicle). I went and took the vehicle for a test drive and surprise surprise...there was maybe 25-30% improvement but it was still driving [censored] like before.

I dont know why, but again and again i had hopes with Mahindra that they are gonna do a good job no matter how long it will take. but unfortunately the technical know how is non existent

Now i am stranded with a 4 month old vehicle (out of which it was with mahindra for about a month now) and i have a rally coming on January 4th(Royal Rajasthan rally 2019) with no idea about how i am going to do it without the vehicle.
