Mahindra And Mahindra — poor after sales break down service | |||
My ordeal with xuv 5oo. I purchsed mahindra xuv 5oo w-11 plus model regn. No. (Od33t – 6567) on 24th july’ 2018 from m/s. Utkal authomobiles, macheswar, bhubaneswar. I opted for xuv 5oo over jeep compass because of strong assurance regarding pan india after sales service network which ultimately proved to be wrong. My ordeal started on 11th on a holy trip to shiridi, maharastra with my colleagues. It was raining and rain water was flowing on the road. We were approaching vizag, in a fleet of vehicles consisting of light & heavy vehicles and my xuv was trailing an innova. It can be concluded that driving on the watery road in xuv 5oo which is as such a premium xuv of the country was quite natural since small cars were plying quite easily on the same road. It was here all of sudden battery lamp indicator started glowing. I immediately brought the vehicle to m/s. Neon motors pvt. Ltd., murali nagar, vizag. Although the mechanic at the said dealer’s works detected the problem but most unfortunately could not be able provide me a solution due to non availability of spares neither with the said dealer nor with any other dealer in any other state in entire southern zone including odisha. I even approached mahindra officials posted in vizag with a request to find out a solution as i was stranded half way which to my misfortune they could not be able to set right the problem. Most unfortunately they could not even confirm me as to how many days it will take to set right vehicle except cautioning me “not to run the vehicle” as it may further damage the engine. I was in a hopeless & uncertain situation for 2 consecutive days being detained halfway. Finally, i have been left with no other option than to return back on my own cost & risk due to such pathetic and poor response from mahindra personnel which is quite contradictory to strong mahindra after sales service. I am very much dissatisfied and frustrated having curtailed my holy trip half way which caused huge financial as well as irreparable losses and also terrible mental agony. Due to this ordeal i make a loss compensation claim of r.2.00 lacs on mahindra which includes 2 days stay for 6 persons in vizag (Accommodation & fooding), cancellation of booking in siridi and hyderabad and loss of business opportunity due to vehicle idleness. Now the vehicle is laying in the custody of m/s. Utkal automobiles, mancheswar, bhubaneswar. I strongly believe, in all fairness, mahindra management should make a healthy reciprocation to me asap otherwise the very purpose of my opt for mahindra xuv 500 will be defeated.
