I had booked Jet Airways flight in April 2019. However after Jet Airways shut down the flight was cancelled. Till today I have not received the refund for the flight. Not sure whom to ask or complaint.
The flight details are no more available in MMT for me to followup or check. Also I do not see any activity or action from MMT for last 1 year in trying to get the refund or work upon it.
MakeMyTrip India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Below is the booking ID for which no refund was initiated. Its been nearly 2 years now.

    Gd evng sir/ madam,
    I am writing this mail to check as to what was the issue with regards to my reimbursement of my tickets money. I had booked my flight tickets on 23 Mar 21 erroneously for 29 Mar 21. The total booking amount was Rs 12570.00. After lot of efforts i got in touch with MMT customer care and was able to speak to Mr vishal. He told me to cancel the tickets and re-book the tickets for 24 mar 21 afresh. I was told me that i would be refunded the entire amount except Rs. 150. On his directive I cancelled the tickets and booked fresh tickets for travel on 24 Mar 21. As I serve in Indian navy, I was to go sailing the next day and hence could not check the refund status. I had an emergency at home, wherein I lost my grandmother and hence my wife also could not check the refund status. post return from deployment i checked my account and found that only 4500 rs have been refunded to me. I am not able to get in touch with customer care and also have to go for deployment again from 30 mar 21. Will be only able to be back on 03 apr 21. In the interim I request you to please check my case and initiate refund of the balance amount. looking forward to a positive reply from your esteemed company. I am attaching the cancellation invoice received on my email id for your reference and necessary action. please mail me your response as i can only reply you post my return on 03 apr 21.regards Cdr jaywant indalkar Indian navy mob [protected]

      Failed booking but money charged from credit card

      I tried an international hotel booking through the make my trip app on[protected]. Their app said transaction has been cancelled from bank side and didn't give any transaction number. The funny thing is there is no way of filing a complaint in the makemytrip site in such situations.
      The bank SMS said payment has been processed with (Ref is MAKEMYTR4771630 on 27-3-21 at 00:58:06).

      I emailed HDFC bank and I got the following...

      I got a flight booking (from Delhi to Pune Booking ID NF[protected], booking email- [protected]@gmail.com) canceled due to the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020 and got a refund in my wallet against it. Due to the ongoing situations of Covid-19, I didn't get a chance to do any booking by the amount that I had in my wallet and it is written that it will expire on the 31st of March 2021. The option of taking the wallet balance back to the original payment mode is displayed on the canceled booking page but no legit option regarding this is available on the wallet page. It is my humble request that my complaint should be resolved before I bear the loss of my wallet balance.

        Sir I feel pained to get such a pity issue to your but I'm sorry to say that you've got the worst customer service. To know exactly why I'm saying this you may've to refer to my conversation with your customer service on Twitter Chat.

        I've booked a spice jet flight dated April 14, 2020(Booking ID NF[protected]) using MMT gift cards. However, the flight was cancelled due to the pandemic and I've received a message stating a credit shell has been created on spice jet and the same needs to be be used before 31/03/2021. As I'd no plans o[censored]sing it before March 2021 I requested a refund for the canceled booking.

        On 18th March I received a confirmation from spice jet that the refunds totalling 7209/- are initiated thru MMT on 18/03/2021 and when I looked for the same on MMT, I see the refunds have been initiated towards the gift cards originally used for booking. However, when I tried to retrieve the balance, it shows the cards have already expired. Hence, I tried reaching out to your customer service requesting to put the refund either on MMT wallet or to atleast extend the validity of the gift card. As I couldn't reach your customer service thru any means I'd to put my concern on Twitter.

        After a couple of days I've got a response stating that you require my consent to check for extending the validity of the gift card until March 31st and I provided the consent. Post which I checked the validity of the Gift Cards was extended to 31/03/2021. However, there was no refund reflecting on the gift cards and the balance was showing zero. On Thursday (25/03/2021) I'd brought this issue to the notice of you customer care at 11:50 am and 6 minutes later I reveiced a response that the refund will reflect in 24 hours. It's been more than 48 hours and the refund is still not reflecting.

        Look at the screenshots of the entire conversation I'd on twitter with MMT and I'm sure you'll feel shameful to know how worst your customer service is. They don't answer to the questions asked. Please get the amount refunded ASAP sir. I'm a middle class person and can't afford to loose money for it not being my fault.

          I cancelled my Bengaluru to Indore Air Asia flight (PNR E8PT7E) directly from the airlines due to schedule change of the flight by the airlines. I am eligible for the full refund of tickets amount and amount paid for selected seats. However, the email received from the airlines indicates a refund of only RS. 7622, which does not include the amount paid for the front seats. Kindly look into the matter.
          Also please let know when the amount will be transferred to my account.

            I booked a holiday package in mmt with booking id NL[protected]. I could not completed this trip due to corona outbreak and applied for refund. They send me a link after 6 months for varification of account and to submit bank details. But Whenever I put my mobile number which I used at the time of booking a message " you are trying to access a booking, not booked by this number " is reflected every time. Even I am unable to get OTP on my mail id for varification. My mail id is [protected]@gmail.com and registered mobile no is [protected].
            Plz do something in this matter. I am waiting for refund from 10 months.

              I had booked my 2 tickets dated 27.03.21 from Mumbai to Bagdogra with Indigo Airlines. The flight was to depart at 6:25 am from the Mumbai Airport.
              Now the problem started after the luggage submission, receipt of boarding pass and after all the necessary processes were completed with upto date submission of documents and procedure by 3 am.
              One of the Indigo Airline Manager called at around 3.30 am and said that you won't be allowed to check in the flight as we are unable to check you in as the agency through which you have booked tickets is checking you out again and again...
              We were panicked at the moment and it was clearly stated to us to contact the agency in the middle of the night and to ask about the same.
              I tried contacting the MMT Representative through Customer Care Number that was available but as we know that it is quite a long procedure to be able to speak to the representative... After a long struggle my call got connected to the representative and I asked about the status of my flights that I have booked via MMT...
              The representative said that the flights are confirmed from our end and the passengers have been allotted the seats as well...I confirmed that yes if something happens this sort of again after the call ends and if the Indigo Crew does not allow us to board the flight, then who is responsible for the same...
              Then I contacted the Indigo Manager and he said the name of the MMT Representative Mr. Mohammed Shamik who was again and again declining the check in process of the passengers which was clearly visible in the system of the Indigo Airlines...
              After this the MMT did not receive any of my call...
              I tried calling approximately 15 times for resolving the issue...But everything was in vain...
              This is how MMT spoiled our 3 to 4 hours at the Airport and due to which till the last minute we were not allowed to board the flight and were thrown out as if we have not booked the tickets and were humiliated due to this situation that we had fallen into due to the MMT...
              I request the highest authority to look into this matter and kindly reimburse the amount that I have paid and the sufferings that I and my friend went through because of this at the Mumbai Airport for nearly 3 hours and that too we were in such a situation that we cannot even sit for a minute and where in due to this situation I had a panic attack at the airport as the airport authorities are also quite strict regarding all the procedures and all this happened due to the negligence of the MMT..
              Before the journey itself, MMT spoiled our day and complete mood of going on a holiday...
              Worst ever experience and I want my complete reimbursement of flight tickets that I purchased from MMT and all the reimbursement of the mental trauma that me and my friend underwent...I did not book flights to have a bad experience and such humiliation...
              Kindly look into this matter as early as possible otherwise this matter would be taken to the higher court...

                Hello Team,

                I had cancelled my vacation trip to Goa from Chandigarh on 28Feb2021, and as per MMT status, it should be credited in my account by 17Mar2021.

                The refund is still not received and the relationship manager for this trip is not replying back or receiving calls. Even the support team is not replying back.
                The number that they have shared for support is asking to connect with relationship manager.

                This is really a worst experience with MMT, till date.

                Kindly look into this issue on priority

                  I was trying to book hotel from MakeMyTrip and it said that transaction failed and amount of ₹3241/- got deducted from my credit card. I was provided with no booking reference or any id for this failed transaction.
                  Upon calling the bank they said that the merchant has received the amount, I can't find any of the customer care number where i can talk regarding this since i am not provided with any reference number.

                    I had booked an airline ticket from Mumbai to Nagpur on 6th May 2020 due to COVID the flight was cancelled and the amount was put in credit shell. even after long time since COVID is not yet cleared the airline has refunded the money to my make my trip wallet. Now when I am trying to take back the money of Rs. 20146.00 to my original pay mode they are not allowing.
                    I have sent several mails as well as calls but no response.

                      I had booked flights from Ahmedabad to Pune via MAKEMYTRIP for a family trip viz GO AIR. Travelling was only in March 28th but due covid it was autocancelled so I booked for next date that is may 04th 2020. Again the flight was cancelled due to Covid. Money was put into escrow account, as was earlier informed by airlines and could be utilised by May 2021 However, last week GO AIR cancelled my Bookings of rs 10386 and refunded partial money rs 5715 to MAKEMYTRIP. I have been trying multiple phone nos. of MAKEMYTRIP, but unable to get thru a customer service and all the calls are forwarded to auto-message. I feel cheated and lost. Please help my booking id NF[protected].

                        Despite many complaints team MakeMyTrip is not refunding my cancelled Indigo flight of 04 April 2020, which I crossed check from IndiGo, they had already refunded the amount to MakeMyTrip.

                            I have been trying to contact makemytrip through their customer service numbers and the email ids. However its absolutely useless because none of the numbers are working. My issue was regarding extending the validity of the gift card that i had purchased for my parents who are senior citizens and as they are unable to travel right now because of the ongoing Covid situation, i had wanted to get the card extended. I had managed to get it extended at first for 3 months. Now i wanted to extend it further. However im just not able to get through any customer service numbers. The emails i have sent are bouncing back to my email id. This is totally a frustrating situation. When i contacted one of the makemytrip branches, they said that they cannot help out as the purchase was made online and not through their office. The representative gave me a mail id to which i sent an email but that was also of no use as that mail bounced back too. What kind of customer service is this???? I am trying all the possible ways to contact makemytrip to somehow get some update on the query but they have made it impossible for me to do that. I did not expect this kind of inefficiency from the company's part. So either my money should be refunded or the card should be extended till a period of time. Unfortunately the gift card was bought last year just before the covid pandemie broke out. This was an unexpected situation that came up. Hope somehow this situation is resolved.

                            I have still not been able to contact makemytrip. I had contacted Woohoo which is a service partner for the gift cards i guess and i contacted them about the same. Although they responded to me promptly and they replied saying that they have passed the message to the makemytrip team and MMT will get back to me as soon as possible. Woohoo got back to me saying that MMT will do a one time extension of the gift card and if that was fine with me. How am i supposed to agree to this when i don't know whether my parents will be able to travel during that period especially considering the situation now where another complete lockdown in Maharashtra is maybe coming up.I had sent the message to Woohoo that either MMT gives me complete refund or extend the card for another year to which i got a reply from them through Woohoo that i need to give the contact details and MMT will get in touch to get this resolved. I had given the contact details and its been almost 3 weeks but so far there has been no response from MMT to contact me. What i dont understand is that why am i not able to get through their customer service????? Why should i send messages all the time through Woohoo in order to get some information??? Day by day this is getting even more frustrating. All i want is this issue to be resolved. This is a waste of time trying to somehow find a way where i can get in touch with MMT. I don't know how long is this going to take???????? I hope this platform will help me in getting this issue resolved soon.

                                I have made refund request to my bank ( the original payment mode) on last 01 Feb 2021 from my make my trip wallet. As given dead line 08 Feb 2021 is over till my amount is not crediited in my account. As I spoken to customer service of make my trip, they tell refund can not be initiated in original pay method (Amazon Pay) as it has been more than 6 months. However MMT Apps shows that refund has been processed in Amazon pay method. I again called customer support and they tell refund will be credited in your bank account and share your detls and i share the requisite detls accordingly. However, despite lapse of several days my refund not credited in my bank statement. In this all screenshot is attached for your information and necessary action please.

                                  I got email from MMT ON 6th January. A refund of 10, 434 has been processed. But until now I didn't get any refund. Sent so many mails to MMT but not responding. Called so many times, but not giving a proper reply. My booking ID: NN[protected]. I am going to complaint MMT legally.

                                    I had booked flight from Hyd to Male, it was connecting flight via Mumbai. The Flights got cancelled by the airline itself not us. For refund we had to follow up 4 months but did not get any single response over mails. Customer call number is waste it never connects. We had to raise complain in Fegal forum where we lost amount 6000 for the Fee. We got the refund finally but after dedcuting 2400/- convienice fee which they told they will refund after the whole refund process gets completed. And after that noone is responding over mail over call no where . Flights were cancelled by Airlines, we struggled to get refund of 80K amount for 3-4 months and they deducted 2400 for single booking . Never going to make anyy booking from this site. Just Pathetic!

                                      I booked online flight ticket using MMT aap on 24th March, 2021. Ticket booked for the flight for a round trip for one person from New Hyderabad to Bangalore through HDFC debit card option. The transaction has been successful on the end of the bank.

                                      The total amount got deducted from my account was Rs. 6807 (Transaction Id MAKEMYTR4771630 ).

                                      After the entire transaction, before redirecting to the booking page it showed transaction failed. But the amount got deducted from my account.

                                      I have not received any ticket, no booking ID nothing as it simply redirected me to the home page instead of ticket page.

                                      Please look into this matter as soon as possible and refund my amount without any further
                                      delay.
