I Umesh Chungani booked a flight ticket on 4 September 2024 for 4 September 2024 from delhi to Hong Kong PNR 5MPOFX I booked this ticket after asking employe of Vistara that will you let in check in with my visa so they said we will let you check in after confirming with their seniors but they didn’t let me check in so I asked for full refund and now they’re not giving me full refund. Even I booked tickets after asking them and getting surety and they didn’t let me check in after giving me 100% surety. 18884/- is not a small amount so I am asking for full refund because they did same thing with me on 3 September 2024. That’s why I want to file a complaint against Vistara . First they gave surety and then they say we can do anything.

    Dear Air Vistara Customer Relations,

    I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received from your staff at the New Delhi airport on April 22, 2024. As an Indian-born US citizen, I have always held Air Vistara in high regard, having had positive experiences in the past. However, my recent encounter has compelled me to bring a serious concern to your attention.

    On the aforementioned date, I traveled on flight AI 126 from Chicago to New Delhi in business class, arriving in New Delhi at 12:25 PM. I had a connecting Air Vistara flight to Dehradun scheduled for 1:50 PM the same day. Despite clearing immigration promptly, I unfortunately missed my connecting flight.

    Following the advice of the Air Vistara team in the transit area, I approached the ticketing counter for rebooking assistance. The agent at the counter, identified only as Babli, displayed a lack of professionalism and courtesy that was both unexpected and unacceptable. Her demeanor was not only unhelpful but also dismissive, as she chastised me for missing my flight without offering any viable solutions or alternatives.

    After an exhaustive international journey, I was met with sarcasm instead of support, leaving me without a clear path to reach my destination. Moreover, the urgency of my situation, needing to visit my ailing mother who had recently suffered a stroke, seemed to be of no concern to the agent.

    The absence of empathy and the refusal to assist in rebooking my flight—without any explanation—was disheartening. This experience starkly contrasts with the excellent service I received during my business class travel from Frankfurt to New Delhi in November 2021.

    As a result of this encounter, I incurred an additional expense of Rs 7500 for alternative transportation to Dehradun. Given the circumstances, I am requesting a full refund for the unutilized portion of my ticket(Rs. 5159.00) and compensation for the distress and inconvenience caused by the unprofessional conduct of your staff member.

    I trust that Air Vistara values its customers and will take the necessary steps to address this issue promptly. I look forward to your response and a resolution that upholds the high standards of service associated with your esteemed airline.

      I m student in north India in Punjab. i want an Internship in company i registered in different websites A lady called on Tuesday April by name Sneha Gambhir, she said we give you the internship in our Vistara airlines for business analyst job . she said you have to pay the registration fees Rs 2000 after that you have to give the aptitude test for next round.
      then she said after giving test send me the screenshot of the marks obtained if qualified then also you have to eligible for next round i.e., HR telephonic interview . after that the HR called me Ravi Kumar for the interview he said you have to pay 5500 for the next round qualification i paid the amount and he said you are now to pass to the next round. then he said to me to may the 10500 for NOC and for offer letter to enter in the airport . i said i m not going to pay any amount to you i m not taking any internship please refund my amount . he said ok you have to pay 2100 for the cancellation of registration and refunding of amount. i said i m not going to pay any amount please refund my money he said its not possible you have to pay first . he is talking to me very rudely and cut the call.
      after 1 day again a lady called me Aishwarya for the refunding of money she said to me if you want your money back you have to pay 550 i paid then again she tell that the account is not taking the amount you have to give 1050 for the activation of account . again she telling you have to pay 1550 for the refunding its the last amount . i want my moey back 9100
      please i request to the Indian forum to take the step against these type of scam and want my money back because its my necessity i m a student.

          I flew Vistara on 8Mar on PNR 23KXYN from Frankfurt to Delhi and on arrival in Delhi the baggage did arrive. i checked and the Vistara ground staff asked me to raise a complaint and i got a PIR ref. i also called their call center and the agent confirmed that i will get reimbursements for the claims for the essentials items i buy for daily use. i did the same and submitted the claims and now Vistara is saying the baggage was held by customs. when i asked them to show the documents and communications that the airlines had with the customs dept they said they are trying to get that across. seems like a trick they are using not to honor the claims. the PIR ref is DELUK21053

              We booked flight from Bhuvaneshwar to Chandigarh on 14th jan Flight No UK789, the flight got delayed by 3hrs from 1.15 to 4.15 then at 3.14pm am complaining you, still now they are saying the flight who will come and take us, has not depart from Delhi, it will take minimum 2hrs, now the next connecting flight boarding is at 8.05Pm, when I am asking if I can’t catch the flight, who will refund, they are saying you have to complain to customer care of Amazon, as you have booked ticket through them according to BISWARANJAN, station Manager.                   Sir i was travelling from Bangalore to New delhi on 1st october . I had my Iphone 7 switched in the luggage bag . It was missing from the bag when i reached back home .                     My wife and my child had booking with below flight on 14sep 23

                    UK 613 (MUM-UDR).

                    They have reached before check in close time and their checkin was also done but they denied boarding even reaches at boarding gate before 20 min.
                    Staff told they will arrange ticket in another flight at free of cost, but after waiting for~ 2 hrs they said cant arrange new ticket and asked us to personally book new ticket.

                    Pls help in this matter and help in refund my ticket amount, as it was not our fault.

                    My wife and child both faced lots of trouble to explaining staff and was treated wrong.

                    My wife was traveling with 6 yr old child, no one helped them.
                    I called customer care also, but they said only airport staff can assist them.

                        Me and my partner traveled from Delhi to Frankfurt UK025 on 27.11.2022.
                        Got our two bags damaged one is completely damaged lost one of the 4 wheels and it was really painful to drag the broken wheel trolley and other one torned. We tried to look the Air vistara staff after collecting our bags and we did not find any staff there. Someone at airport suggested to take pictures I am attaching the pictures of the broke trolley wheel taken after right picking our baggages from pully and also we had some expensive souvenirs inside for our relatives which are also broken.

                        It was really bad because we bought the new luggage right before our India trip and now it cannot be used anymore and no possibility to get it repair. It would be nice if you could guide for claiming the compensation of luggage and goods loss. We already tried reaching the airvistara customer relations service but we have no response or resolution.

                            Vistara have modified it's flight from Raipur to Delhi from evening time to early morning time. I booked the evening flight only because I have to finish up work diring the day. But, now they are not providing me compensation for another ticket or night accomodation.

                                I am writing to report an unfortunate incident regarding my recent flight with Vistara on UK 879 from DELto HYD on 26th May'2023.

                                Upon retrieving my checked baggage at the destination, I noticed that my suitcase, which had a prominently marked "fragile" sticker, had been mishandled, resulting in significant damage to its contents. Unfortunately, one of the fragile items inside the bag, the liquor bottle worth 5K, has been completely broken beyond repair.

                                I would like to bring this matter to your attention in order to seek assistance and a resolution. As a loyal customer of Vistara, I have always trusted and relied upon the excellent service provided. However, this incident has left me disappointed and concerned about the handling of delicate baggage.

                                I kindly request your immediate attention and appropriate action to rectify this situation. Specifically, I would appreciate:

                                1. A thorough investigation into the mishandling of my baggage and the circumstances that led to the damage of the fragile item.
                                2. Compensation or reimbursement for the broken item, taking into consideration its value and the inconvenience caused.
                                3. Assurance that measures will be implemented to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future, ensuring the safe transport of fragile items.

                                To facilitate the resolution process, I have attached a copy of my boarding pass, baggage claim tag, and photographs clearly depicting the damaged item as evidence.

                                  Good afternoon,

                                  Mumbai to Varanasi

                                  Departure time: 1:20 pm

                                  Arrival time: 3:40 pm

                                  Mumbai Airport Gate number 65A.

                                  I wisht to write this complaint in reference to the complaint I had made to the Vistara Airlines and Mumbai airport on 27th may 2023.

                                  I submitted the following complaint to the Mumbai Aiport's Vistara airline and Mumbai airport on May 27, 2023, which is as follows:
                                  This whole incident occurred at 12:45 pm or 12:50 pm at gate number 65A on 27th May 2023.
                                  I and my parents were traveling from Mumbai to Varanasi today which is May 27, 2023, and the gate number was 65A. Each o[censored]s had our trolley bags which altogether makes it 3 trolley bags. The departure time was 1:30 pm and we began boarding at around 12:45 or 12:50 pm.

                                  The gate number was 65A and the flight number was UK621. When our turn came to board the flight, there was one female Vistara staff aged 50+ years in a black coat who all of a sudden came and stood at the gate, and started instructing us that "Why did you carry such huge bags? You are not supposed to carry such big bags on air." "You will not board unless I check the weight of your bags." She pulled the bag from my mother's hand and stopped her.

                                  These are the exact words she used and snatched my mother's trolley bag from her hand. Then, later a male baggage handler came and threatened us that he will not let us board the flight unless our bags are weighed. We told the female Vistara staff and the baggage handler that we have already checked the weights of our bags at home and at the airport before boarding at the check-in counter. At the check-in counter, we told the authority that we wish to carry our bags and that's when she checked the weight of our bags and let us take them. To this, the baggage handler said we are not your slaves, you are the slaves right now so you cannot board the flight unless we tell you to, and unless we check the weight of your bags. You will need to check in the bags and not carry them. He threatened us to not board the flight.

                                  The female Vistara staff appeared above 50+ years was in a black coat, had a fairer skin tone (do not mean to judge anybody by their color, but I wish to mention this as the employees did not have an identity badge), and had heavy makeup.

                                  This baggage handler was a Hindi-speaking man, with big eyes, a bald head on the front, 5 feet one inch, and a bit stout (I do not mean to judge anybody by their color, but I wish to mention this as the employees did not have an identity badge). The baggage handler said that you people who board the flight are our slaves and you need to do as we say. You will not board the flight until I bring the weighing scale and check your

                                  I answered back at him that we have checked the weight of our bags and said that we cannot threaten to not board the flight. I also asked him to behave himself but he did not stop and the female Vistara attendant kept supporting him and did not stop him.

                                  We have come to Varanasi for just one day and why would we carry many things with us? Nobody would want to pick up heavy bags and place them above the seats on the flight. People don't carry the entire household with them everywhere they go via a flight that is just 2 hours away from a certain destination. Our bags were of the accurate size and we always carry these bags while traveling through Indigo, SpiceJet, and other airlines, but no airline staff has ever told us to weigh the bags during boarding at the gate and threatened us to not board the flight unlike in Vistara.

                                  Today morning on 28th May, 2023, a Vistara staff member called my father. He handed the phone to me and the Vistara staff told me that the airport authority of Mumbai airport addressed my complaint to Vistara ground staff appointed at gate 65A on 27th May 2023 and the deputy manager of Vistara airlines. Instead of telling the truth, the baggage handler and the female Vistara staff at gate no. 65 at Mumbai airport accused me of abusing them. I asked her do you have proof of the abuses and told me what abuses did I use? She said the ground staff did not give them the proof. I told her to pass on my message to the ground staff of vistara at gate 65 which was appointed there on 27th May, 2023, that I will reach the higher authority of Vistara Airlines and complain about the incident as well as the baggage handler and the Vistara female staff. I had to argue with the baggage handler and the Vistara female staff because they threatened us that they will not let us board the flight unless they weigh our bags. If it was somebody else was in my place even they would have argued with them because we pay for our flights and not letting us board is a crime on behalf of the airline ground staff. But in the process of argument, I could not abuse because my parents were with me and I cannot abuse them in front of them as it is unethical. Rather, the ground staff called us a slave and told us that we have to listen to what we said.

                                  A baggage handler had no job at the gate. His job is to only handle the baggage of the passengers yet he was at the gate and threatened us to not board the flight unless he brings the weighing scale.

                                  My mother was carrying her small purse as well as one handbag which only had food and one trolley bag which is of the size that always fits in the compartment above the seat. She cannot check in the handbag which had food and yet was forced to stop and not board the flight until her bags are weighed. I was carrying one trolley bag that also fits in the compartment above the seat, and my father was carrying one trolley bag only. We always carry these many bags only when we travel by indigo and SpiceJet, but nobody told us to check in the trolley bag, purse, and handbag which has food. Telling to check in trolley bags is ok, but commenting on the size, and forcing others to check the weight of all bags at the gate is wrong. They are not supposed to do that at the gate, because it was already done at the check-in counter and we were allowed to carry our bags with us because it was under the permissible weight and that food cannot be checked-in.

                                  It is unfair to accuse passengers of abuse without proof. When I asked the female staff today on the phone call, she said they do not have proof of you abusing them. Then on what basis can the deputy manager not take action against the ground staff and accuse me of abusing them?
                                  If I had to abuse somebody, I would have done that many times in the past as I am a frequent traveler. But, I never felt the need to complain about any ground staff at Mumbai airport because they are all good and kind to us. This is the first time I got this experience with the ground staff at Vistara gate no. 65. My parents have traveled via Vistara twice before, but they never met such ground staff and baggage handlers. The Mumbai airport was sent this complaint from me, but adequate strict actions have not been taken against the behavior and comments, and allegations of the male baggage handler and female Vistara staff at gate 65A Mumbai airport on May 27, 2023.

                                  I humbly request you to look into the matter and take strict action against the baggage handler and the female Vistara staff at gate no 65, Mumbai Airport, on May 27th, 2023 t 12:45-12:50 pm.
