Airline fare charged twice

Hi,

I had booked a flight from Delhi to Kolkata on Indigo Booking IDNF[protected]. However when I am checking now I found that I was charged twice for the same flight. The fare was Rs 5503/- and when I checked the Trip page the amount is showing as Rs11006. I also checked my card details and it also shows Rs 5503 debited twice.

I have attached the invoice and screenshots of the relevant details. Please check...

I booked a air ticket on 7.11.2020 using ICICI credit card for the sector Bangalore to Hyderabad in spicejet vide PNR : EYJP5J. Since flight was postponed, I had to cancell the ticket. I understand that spicejet has already refunded the amount Rs.2662. The amount is pending at your end.
It is requested to refund the amount to ICICI Credit card account Number : [protected].
Once again requested to refund the amount at the earliest to continue my patronage with makemytrip

    Below mentioned Transaction was not authorised by me and the money is deducted. I have enquired from the bank and the below receipt is attached for reference.

    I have tried calling the customer care team but no response or resolution has been given from a week. Please help me urgently as it is a big amount that got deducted and I am facing financial problems.

    Bank Has responded on the same day but no response from Make My Trip team on the resolution. As a customer i feel cheated by the Firm.

    My transaction is failed while booking on MakeMyTrip on 9/10/2021 but the amount is debited and not credited in my account so please check and respond back.
    On 9/10/2021 my 1st transaction is failed while flight booking from ahmedabad to pune flight amount 4375 and so i again try then it successfully booked amount is 4574. but as i see my passbook then both amount is debited on 10/10/2021 shows. kindly refund my amount 4375 which is transaction failed.
    I have tried calling the customer care team but no response or resolution has been given from a week. Please help me urgently as it is a big amount that got deducted and I am facing financial problems.
    As a customer i feel cheated by the Firm.

      I made a booking through MMT on 6th December 2021 for my flight on Indigo, booking id - N[protected]. Later the airline rescheduled the flight to another date, and subsequently, I also made a date change to my booking directly with Indigo as the option was not available on MMT. There was a difference in fare and Indigo refunded the amount back to MakeMyTrip the same day.

      When I called indigo to check the status they mentioned that it has already been processed from their end and gave the refund reference number[protected]. I tried calling make my trip multiple times, but they will not connect me to a customer care agent saying that all queries can be resolved from the app but the stupid app won't even show my bookings in the trips section. MMT is just ignoring any issues that are not listed in their automated chat or app and providing no alternatives to the customer.

      It's been more than a month and I still haven't received my refund.

        Sir the bus experience was pathetic, the below mentioned issues which I could find, please note take the same and do the needfull and return my money :

        - during this covid time, the bus was not cleaned and dirty too.
        -Ac was not working all time, although I have paid for AC
        -Inner Glasses window was not there at the top, causing the whole journey troublesome.
        - the slider of the cabin was not working properly, during the whole night I have to slide them 40 or more times, which disturbed the whole night sleep
        - charging point of the phone was not there
        - bus was late too, as per scheduled time in picking and departing
        - my destination was Narol, however bus was never reached at the narol(they departed us earlier narol)

        I hope the above-mentioned reason and raises the serious concern.

          I had booked return ticket from Chennai to Bucharest for travel date 06-11-20 and return on 10-11-20 in Qatar airways on makemytrip.com vide booking ID NN[protected]/ PNR no OUCEZM on 25-02-20. In view of COVID restrictions, flight was nonoperational and tickets were cancelled by airlines. I was informed by Qatar airlines vide CAS 1464034-L2X4Y0/ CRM[protected]that refund amount has been credited to makemytrip and refund has to be credited by them. Makemytrip doesnot entertain any phonecall or email regarding my complaint. Kindly order them to refund my amount without further delay.

            I had booked round-trip flight tickets through MMT App from Bangalore to Dubai on 20th Feb 2021 and Return on 26th Feb 2021.
            We booked tickets with hope to attend GULFOOD21 expo, unfortunately the increase in COVID cases and heightened restrictions in Dubai (UAE) has put an halt on our trip basis safety measures. While I tried cancelling my ticket on MMT App, it mentioned significant deduction amounting to Rs.1608/-, (MMT Cancellation Fee 649 & MMt Convenience Fee 949). Whereas I had booked another ticket (Ref:[protected] with Emirates website directly and cancelled it for the same reason (COVID) and Emirates have refunded the complete amount without any deductions whatsoever.
            There is no customer care to address queries, no email response and nothing being done to refund our money and they are looting all customers like this by running a fake company.

              I did my booking from Make My Trip India for ITC Kohenur Hyderabad on 24th Jan and did full payment online and I have received an email confirmation from make my trip however when I called ITC Kohenur they said they haven’t received any booking from make my trip on my behalf. I want make my trip to work with ITC Kohenur hotel Hyderabad and get my hotel booking confirmed at the earliest

                  I did book hotel booking with MAKEMYTRIPS on 29th Feb 2020 at KTDC Tea County Resort, Munnar for 16th-18th Mar 2020- 3 Deluxe Rooms. Due covid the booking is never utilised but in app shows as completed and unable to do any changes.
                  Due Covid 19 the hotel was shut down in 2nd week of March, 2020. Accordingly did speak to 'makemytrips' agent and hotel Manager Sunil did postpone until September 2020 but hardly did I knew that the situation would be so bad due to pandemic.
                  Finally as things slowly started to improve did enquire Hotel Manager regarding hotel booking for future date he informed me to get in touch with 'makemytrips' and do the needful.
                  Since then I did try to contact with many staff like Sourabh, Priyanka, Deepak, Pooja (Dubai) and on 14th Jan finally with Naveen who promised my case Ticket Id[protected] will only be closed unless an hotel booking team will return a call back on my UAE number as I reside in dubai, and will remain opened until its been resolved.
                  To my surprise within an hour got an sms/email stating my case is been closed without any reason. All of my previous cases is been closed same way.
                  Sourabh (1st agent caller) did suggest me to go for full refund as hotel agreed and did initiate but call got disconnected and since then none of my calls were entertained. Did email/support number but all in vain as there is no option of speaking to an agent directly nor an email.

                  I did tried a last attempt on 10th Feb 2020 called their telephone number +911244628747 and finally spoke to an agent Mr. Susankar. Described exactly what happened and he promised that the ticket will not be closed unless the issue is resolved. somehow that was my last option so got convinced. Email rcvd on 12th says "Please note that as the transaction is old hence a link has been sent to you, WTD Link on the registered email /Mobile No . ( Customer have to Login using registered customer details)" Once you Submit Details on that Link, refund will be sent for Processing in 48 hours. So we request you to check your registered email /Mobile No so that the same can be processed earlier. Initially thought it was fake as I never received a WTD link as mentioned on email instead asked me to forward my details of bank, including my full name/contact details etc. Later recieved a call from on 13th Feb Calcutta +913366142700. Since I was not sure about the genuinity of the email/call did not respond accordingly they closed the case requesting to call back again for any future support. Did reply to the final email as to what to do next. On 18th Feb got an sms from my bank the whole amount is credited back to my account. I did spend approx 1500.00 INR for making calls as it was international roaming, above all getting connected to an agent is very crucial as there is no option for any telephone number other than registered mobile number to raise a complain so they could pull out our details. Finally Im happy its over after a few months struggle as I did keep trying. Many thanks for all the teams out there who helped me sort out my issue

                    Hello, I always prefer booking via MMT and always we got good service.
                    I booked ticket as per booking ID NF[protected]. This was before COVID. After COVID flights were cancelled.
                    I received message that refund is initiated and will be reflected in bank account.
                    Till date amount is not credited in my bank account. I tried to contact Make my trip by several means. However could not connect. Kindly look into this issue and resolve issue of refund. Pls do not disappoint us so that we can avail MMT services in future.

                      I have complained about the refund and got a nice reply from airline (INDIGO). where make my trip is not even providing any kind of support, no proper email no proper communication .below is what i got from Indigo, which clears that MMT dint send my money back and solely responsible for very irresponsible behaviour:

                      "With reference to your email, we would like to inform you that under the PNR AKKQYG an amount of INR 7, 269 has been processed on 10th of Nov 2020 to your agency account used at the time of booking and PNR WNTMPA an amount of INR 7, 321 has been processed on 10th of Nov 2020 to your agency account used at the time of booking.

                      Further, we would like to inform you that kindly get in touch with your agency(Makemytrip.com) only to claim the amount. We have already processed the refund from our side to your agency account.

                      During these testing times, well being of our passengers and crew is paramount to us, we have taken every measure to ensure their safety is not compromised at any touch point, we also urge you to stay safe and healthy."

                      I have attached the screenshot from MMT which is misleading and claiming that Indigo dint give money back yet. kindly provide proper platform for users to atleast for better communication.

                        Ticket has been cancelled on same date of booking[protected]for Patna to Ahmedabad by Spice Jet.
                        Also refund has been provided by Spice Jet on same date & detail is also on their website.
                        But till date refund has not been provided by MakeMyTrip.
                        No phone no. is in working condition.
                        Worst service provided by MakeMyTrip.

                        Kindly do the needful.

                          GOAIR flight dated 2nd December 2020 13:50 pm from kochi to Ahmedabad with PNR K51RHF - flight was not operational and they refunded the amount to MMT but I have still not received any refund from MMT as on 28th January 2021.please do the needful asap.

                            As per the MMT deal, there was a Cash back facility on Monday 11th Jan in ICICI bank Debit card purchase. Accordingly I am suppose to get a cash back of Rs 1000 for a purchase of Bom- ATQ-Bom ticket with PNR HKWDKW/IHKRHC and journey date of 22nd Jan to 24th Jan'21. Now I am being denied of this cash back due to some unjustified reason.

                              Flight ticket booked on 24th January for travel from Madurai to Chennai 25th morning SG3028 flight time 10.30 am to 11.50 am. Also booked cab for pickup from Airport to chennai city by entered the flight no.
                              But cab arrived on 24 th Jan 11.30 pm instead of 25th Jan 11.30 am.

                              Araised complaint on that day itself to MMT. Informed by CC person my money fully refund within 48hrs.

                              But still not happened

                                I had booked flight from Chennai to Bangalore for 5th April in Indigo flight on14th february, 2020.

                                Due to COVID situation, flight was cancelled by airline and then refund was provided to MMT wallet.

                                On 29th October, I had raised request for transferring the amount from wallet to my source account and they had mentioned that refund was successful.

                                But till today I have not received my amount .

                                I am not begging your money or stealing yours. It’s my money and I want it immediately.

                                When I contacted bank account they are mentioning that rrn number provided is wrong

                                Check this issue as soon as possible with high priority and provide refund asap on priority.

                                  Makemytrip or it's employees defraud customers money. Here's my case.

                                  I have asked for refund of my money which was in my wallet to original mode of payment which is credit card. It was mentioned that in 4 days it will reflect in my account.

                                  To this date and to my astonishment the money never came. When checked with Wallet, it was mentioned that it was transferred to Bank account.

                                  I never paid thru my bank account and it was credit card. How come they transfer to Bank account when I did not have any bank account with them.

                                  Obviously, the money is transferred to some employees or company account. I sent notice to customer support email id's but no response to this date. No phone calls made fruitful as they say due to covid minimal operations.

                                  Hence I post it here to get resolution and make others aware of such unethical and illegal practices of staff/make my trip.

                                      Make my trip still doesn’t provide an option to update/change an email id of an account. They would ask us to raise a request to update an email id but if we raise a request they would come up with the same answer saying that they don’t have an option to update email of the account.
                                      Even they dont give option to delete an account which is ridiculous..
                                      Customer care number is not provided to resolve such issues and we have to wait for their representatives to reply on emails..
                                      No proper customer service.. Its a worst service by make my trip.
