I have been trying to get in touch with make my trips customer care for a while but to no avail.
We booked flight tickets for my husband, child and me in Feb for April, but the lockdown was imposed. Hence the flights were not operational. Then we had to put more money and make another booking for July which again was not operational due to lockdown. Overall I have spent about1.5 lakhs. Please understand this is not throw away money. I know make my trip didn't call the lockdown, but they did take the bookings, twice. Since April I've been asking for my money. It is a huge loss to me and is hard earned. In August, I surprisingly got in touch with an agent over the phone who guaranteed that my money will be refunded in 20-25 days. In November they sent me an email saying that they will refund after a penalty even though flights did not take off. However I didn’t get the money back.
Now I asked to reissue our tickets as we got our visa extension. But again they are not reissuing and saying that the airlines which is Air Canada is working on it. Please help to reissue otherwise our visa’s will expire again.
I’m not asking for refund now. Just reissue my tickets, I’m also willing to pay difference if any. I have limited time only before my visa expires again. Please help.
