Hi sir,

I have booked a flight for 25th july, 2020 through makemytrip (Indigo airline) using my credit shell and extra money through credit card. Due to covid 19, my flight got cancelled and i requested for refund on 24th july for the same. Now, it's been 1 months my refund request has not been processed.
I have reached out to makemytrip customer care 2 times. First time when i have reached, they told me that your refund request has been raised and in 15 days you will get your refund amount in your account and regarding credit shell amount, we will provide you option to use it in your further booking through makemytrip.
After 15 days when i have called them they didn't even started my refund request. They told we are now taking your request in higher priority and it will be resolved in 48 hrs. After 48 hrs one of makemytrip customer care guy reached to me he told that we have taken your request in higher priority and we have submit the refund request to your bank, it will be get credited to your account in 5 days and regarding credit shell we have also sent the mail to airline and it will take 15 days to get process from the airline end. When i have asked him i have raised the request 15 days back only then why you need again 15 days? What you people have did in earlier 15 days and regarding contacting to airline i have reached out to indigo 2 times and they are saying they have processed the request very long back there is nothing left from their side and they have given me even the reference number for the same. But he keep on saying it is pending for airline. At the end i agreed to wait 15 more days. Now it's been more than 15 days, neither my amount got credited to my account neither they have enabled the option to use the credit shell amount. Now whenever i am calling, i'm hearing their computerized message "due to covid 19, airlines are not refunding the money instead they are providing credit shell once it will be processed from airline, you will get the option to reschedule your flight".

    I booked a flight to berlin on[protected] through make my trip with booking id as nn[protected]. The booking was cancelled due to covid-19 pandemic and my refund was under process. The total amount paid by me was rs. 18635/-. I tried to contact mmt several times but could not their customer care is not responding and also they are not answering any email. I have sent number of emails to them and also posted a google review but till date i have not received my refund.
    On[protected], i also contacted my airline through phone, i. E. Qatar airways, about my booking and after checking my booking details, one of their executive, mr. Bargav, has confirmed me that qatar airways had already refunded my entire amount and i need to contact the travel agent which is make my trip to confirm about the refund against my booking. Whereas mmt is just reflecting a message in that "the airline has assured that your booking amount is safe which can be used for a new booking with same airline, subject to paying any additional extra fare for the new travel dates and such other terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the airline" which is not true since the airline has already refunded my amount to the travel agent due to which my booking details is not stored in their portal and i have also received an email communication from the airline.
    More than 5 months have already passed but i am still struggling for my refund as mmt is not reverting to any of my query.
    Please support as i am worried about my total amount paid for my booking.

      I have cancelled a flight from mmt and they were supposed to refund me Rs.1678, but till now I haven't received any refund. They were supposed to reflect it in my credit card but when I checked my credit card statement I haven't received the refund and according to them (as shown by their website) they have reflected in my account but till now I haven't received it. I had many a times tried to contact them but they always redirect me to their website. Therefore I request you to please process my refund as soon as possible. They could help us a lot in this period of lockdown. Therefore I am here attaching all the details of the tickets and some screenshot.

        My name is virender singh, booked 20th june flight from bangaluru to delhi with booking id - nf[protected] and that flight later cancelled by air india. But still, i did not get any refund, its more than 2 months now.

        Even i called up air india care and they asked me to get a refund from the broker. So please refund my whole amount.

          Airline has cancelled the flight and refunded full amount but MMT has deducted 560 from that amount. In this pandemic time MMT is harassing customers like this. When airline has not deducted any amount and refunded it fully why MMT is deducting customer's hard earned money. They have illegally charging customers.

            I had booked a flight ticket to travel from bangalore to chennai on 01.06.2020 through make my trip travel agency. Ticket pnr is w3lpz, booked in air acia flight no.15 346 for me and my wife at a cost of rs.6735/- but the flight was cancelled by the air asia. I have received a message from air asia on 30.05.2020 regarding cancellation of this flight service and requested me to choose one among the two options to settle my amount. I had choose an option that 'full credit account' which will be valid for 730 days'.
            Yesterday (25.08.2020), i requested air asia to book a ticket from chennai to bangalore using the amount available in that credit account, through online. But the air asia informed me to approach the travel agency, as i had booked my ticket through make my trip travel agency.
            Then i contacted the make my trip travel agency to book a ticket from the amount available with them through online but there is no proper response from this travel agency. Hence i kindly request you to take necessary action to solve my problem.

              Kindly process the full refund for both the pnrs f3brsy & qfcy5r in the original payment mode of hdfc card (Not the credit shell which is reflecting)

                We had booked returned tickets from delhi to hanoi (Vietnam) and hanoi to delhi in rs. 33942 but flights got cancelled due to covid-19. Indigo returned our money without any deduction but makemytrip only credited rs. 28194 in our credit card account. Why makemytrip deducted the rs. 5748 from the returned amount? What is the reason? We want our money back as soon as possible. Our flight was on 22 march 2020 and 29 march 2020 respectively.

                Note: after discount we had paid rs. 31992 for the tickets.
                So remailing amount is 3798

                Please find attached bank statement and refund receipts.

                Do the needful.

                        My booking id was NF [protected] from Ranchi to Hyderbad in the month of Apr. 20. The booking was cancelled by myself on 18th Mar. 20 due to coming Covid 19. I am very sorry to inform you that the refund amount was not credited in my account. A information has been generated that (booking were auto cancelled due to lockdown) and credit voucher was initiated without my consent.
                        This message is totally false and booking was cancelled by me. Please arrange to refund my amount. Further I don’t want to go anywhere in coming time due to covid 19.

                          I had booked a flight before jet airways shutdown, for my family from Budapest to Mumbai.
                          The flight got cancelled and I still didn't get refund.
                          I received an email from Jet airways stating that remarks for full refund have been given to the travel agent but, it's been more than a year now and I still didn't get any refund. I tried contacting MMT many times but either they don't pick up my phone and don't reply the emails or they say that it's pending from airline.

                          According to the attached screenshot, I should have got full refund of my flight.. but I didn't receive yet.

                          What is the meaning of the email by Jet Airways then? Where is the process of the refund pending? Have MMT already filed a claim for my booking or it was just ignored?? Is MMT trying to just eat up all the money?

I have paid through net banking and in when transaction ends I found money deducted from my account but I have not received any ticket. I have tried to contact makemytrip customer care multiple times. But not one is there to assist customers.

                            Very frustrating expereience from makemytrip.

                              This is my complaint sent to make my trip and indigo airlines. This email was sent well before my date of travel and just before lockdown - Booking ID- NL[protected]. Who so ever it may concern. Very unexpected reply from #makemytrip. We in full faith made the entire payment of above 1 lakh as being regular users of #makemytrip for our yearly holiday. Due to the outbreak of #caronavirus around the world requested for a full refund as for no fault of ours in this challenging situation. But the reply we get is to reshedule our holiday. However pay the difference of the flight tickets even if we want to change the date to december. I clearly recieved an email from #indigoairlines saying the tickets will be cancelled with complete refund and no charge understanding the current situation. However #makemytrip keeps saying no. Every other person ive spoken to from their carrier has got their refund. I need you guys to please atleast on human grounds to understand. I just dont want to reshedule any of my dates as im not sure when my son, wife or me can get leaves like this again.This is not acceptable since Andaman is closed according to the news & government is not allowing us to travel. I cannot do a date change since I am unaware of the future school holidays & when next I will be able to take a leave from office.I travel every year with make my trip & this is not what I expected from you all.I will surely go to the same destination when everything gets better. Kindly provide cancellation and provide a full refund.I have also received a mail from #indigo for one of the flights saying my flight is cancelled & I need to go to a site and click on cancel & full refund option so why a disconnect with airlines and make my trip. I will keep tagging everyone that i can. I thought atleast when the #goverment itself says not to travel and the #airlines too keep reiterating the same. #makemytrip should have just understood and made things simpler. Do you think after all this i would recommend anyone to use #makemytrip or #indigoairlines.

                                I have cancelled the tickets I booked from San Francisco to New Jersey as the flights cancelled due to Corona. As per the airlines they were doing complete refund for booking made during that period. Make My trip also confirmed that the refund will be made in 90 months as the funds have to come from airlines. Now it is more than 3 months I haven't got any revert from them. Its very difficult to get them on phone too.

                                        Booked a flight ticket from bangalore to istanbul and back for 11th march. Flight was cancelled by airline, we received the phone call and asked to cancel flight ticket which will be refunded in full. Our refund was processed on 11th august but rs 13000 was deducted as cancellation charges (Booking id nn[protected]. Extremely difficult to approach company nobody picks up phone even if you wait for three hours holding phone.
