Hi,
I had booked up the flight tickets from mumbai to kanpur on 13th june 20 from makemytrip site for spice jet, with full amount paid rs.9724 for 2 persons and one additional ticket separately of rs.5362.
But after few days i received mail from spice airlines that flight get cancelled from their end and full refund will be credited to your credit shell account of make my trip.
But when i checked my makemytrip account in credit shell there was only rs.8618 instead of rs.9724 and rs.4309 for the another ticket.
When i asked to makemytrip customer care they said we receive only this amount from spice airlines, and once i asked to spice airlines they told what we received the amount from make my trip, we had reverse to your credit shell.
So my complaint is on makemytrip company that they are hiding there things form the customers and doing the scam in this situation and harassing the customers and even spice airlines company also bond to customer to use that credit shell only for spice airlines, not for any other airlines and making this rule and stated that credit amount is valid for the one year and after one year if we are not utilizing then it will be forfeited by spice airlines and they are not ready reverse the amount to our account.

Due to this thing i again booked the flight on 17th june 20 same passengers same route same flight with makemytrip and spice airlines, utilizing the previous credit amount but they ask me to pay airlines difference amount which rs.1468 total which i paid rs.10086.
But again happened the same flight get cancelled and they given credit amount which was the same as like previously rs.8618.

Both airlines and makemytrip are not taking any responsibility of this difference amount of rs.1486.
Companies are making fool to customers and always make money and never respond on there queries.
I had booked 3 passengers ticket twice and i lose almost[protected] in these booking and think how many peoples are booking daily flight and it get cancelled in this this situation and these companies are making money just stating that due to this covid situation govt has cancelled.
We also having hard n money, why we should lose our money in this tough situation. I would like to appeal government kindly look after this matter so that we can save our money from these agents and as well as these airlines companies to do this kind of scam.
For more reference i had attach both the tickets bifurcation. If any need more details i can provide all the documents.

    Hi,

    I want to raise complaint request against make my trip for their highly unprofessional behaviour and services.

    I have attached all the proofs, for 17 april booking which got cancelled i didn't receive refund till now. The transaction happened of 4372 bucks from bank side and mmt received same as you can see in whatsapp message, but from mmt side i only get 2100 bucks on 11th may not the other one.

    I confirmed with bank they said both the transaction was successful from there side and they didn't receive amount from merchant till now. It's been more than 1 and half months but i didn't get any update from their side. I'm following up with them continuously but no reply from their end.

    I kindly request you to look into this issue as for me 2100 rs. Is not a small amount and i'm very upset with their unprofessional services.

      Hi team,

      I have booked a flight from makemytrip "booking id - nn[protected]" round trip from bangalore to gernamy (19th marc 2020 & return on 26th march 2020.

      Due to covid-19 indian govt. Has banned all the flights from & to germany from 18th march. Makemytrip has charged 13k cancellation fee for this ticket (Which is normal day charges). Makemytrip has not applied covid-19 weaver as this cancellation was done due to restriction because of covid-19.

      Another point, makemytrip has refund the amount in makemytrip wallet instead of refunding in credit card as per the rules. Makemytrip is holding customers money and enforcing them to use services even i[censored]ser wants to user other companies services they can't as money has been blocked by makemytrip.

        Self has cancelled the booked hotel at kalimpong on 08/03/2020 (Booking id in1b[protected] for travel to hotel maurya residency, kalimpong). Then make mytrip representatives confirmed via e-mail that by[protected]That is 5 days from cancellation), the cancellation amount will be refunded to my bank account. But till 13-06-20 no refund has been credited in my bank account. Self had tried to contact "make my trip" several times in past few months, but did not get responses. The "my account" portal of "make my trip" is showing the status as "refund is being processed", but when the refund amount will be credited is not confirmed through phone or e-mail.

          We had cancelled our flights bengaluru-toronto and newark-toronto in march as tha airlines had cancelled the flights. We had requested refund and the agent, kaushik had told us that we would receive the money as soon as airlines gives it back. The airlines emirates refunded rs150076.00 to you on april 22, 2020. Instead of refunding our money you have credited it to my wallet account. We need our cash back as we do not intend to travel. If we had wanted to travel in future we would not have cancelled, and would have taken a voucher. You have charged us over rs 25000.00 for cancellation and still not giving us our refund which is very unfair on your part. Please send us our money immediately. We complained 10days back, no reply. It is shameful that such a big company like yours is behaving so insensitively and unethically.

            Hello,

            I booked my honeymoon through makemytrip my flight got cancelled on 2nd march and i got to know when i reached airport. It was vietjet they said that you booked from makemytrip ask them why didn't they informed you and ask us to fill the form to get the refund then i book another flight on that moment as it was my honeymoon from goibibo which costs me double which i had paid earlier this is total worst service i have ever received and neither i got money back nor makemytrip are resolving this and my past conversation with anuj and now ana both aren't picking calls and no information been provided. They have ruined my honeymoon and since march i am not received any result on this. Attaching screenshot of 30 emails which i have sent makemytrip and also vietjet form of refund.

            I want my all money back with interest now i am following you guys since march. You have harassed me a lot.

              I reschedule my booking date directly through the airline and make my trip is my booking agent so the difference amount which is refundable because new booking fare is less then the older, so the airline refund the amount to make my trip so i request to you that you refund the amount to me.

                I have cancelled my booking which was booked via makemytrip.
                Booking id nh[protected].
                The refund has been processed almost after 16 days of cancellation, inspite of assuring that it would be done in 72hours. The refund has been credited to my makemytrip wallet. I want the refund to be credited back to the source which was used while booking.
                I have tried their chat, but their executives refuse to transfer my fund back into my payment source.
                I dont want to be forced to use mmt even if im not happy with them just because there is money in mmt wallet.
                I have tried emailing but they are not responding to emails

                  Booking id nn[protected] amsterdam to delhi, booked ticket on 02nd apr, and the flight was cancelled.
                  Trying to follow up with mmt with no response on the phone or email.
                  There is no way to talk to any agent since all the number mentioned are recorded.
                  The number used while booking was that of amsterdam but can't use it for input in the voice mail. Chat bot is useless, no response on that either.

                    Dear team,

                    I have cancelled my ticket which was booked via makemytrip (Booking number: nn[protected], the refund has been processed almost after 70 days of cancellation, but the refund has been credited to my makemytrip wallet. I want the refund to be credited back to the credit card which was used while booking.

                    I have sent a couple of emails to [protected]@makemytrip.com, no response on it. Could not use https://supportz.makemytrip.com/, i always end up getting this message:
                    "something went wrong. We were unable to raise request.
                    Please try again or call us at[protected] to cancel on call"

                    Unable to reach an agent to talk to through your customer care number.

                    For now, you guys are not reachable through any means, and no way to let you know my concern.

                    Please help with this. I did not understand why was it credited to mmt wallet in first place.

                      Booking id : nn[protected]. Myself and my wife's return air ticket from chicago (O'hare intl) to delhi on 30 mar 2020 was preponed to 24 mar 2020. But i am forced to cancelled the ticket on 20 mar 2020.

                      The refundable amount is not yet reached to me. You are requested to credit the amount immediately.

                      Please intimate the status of the complaint. On 11 Jun 2020 Mr Rohit Kumar mobile No [protected] and Mr Vibhav mob [protected] tried to cheat me asking the google pay and phone pay details. When I asked to pay the same the bank they are misguiding me.

                      When I asked the details in writing, they totally denied. This is not acceptable to me.

                      Kindly refund the money immediately.

                          1booking id: 1 nn[protected]. 2nn[protected]
                          2 cancellation request given for both of above booking: 17th april 2020
                          3 no response/ refund received even after 25-30 days.
                          4 raised complaint in several ways to mmt : reference no.[protected] &reference no.[protected], it was communicated to me that all refund amount can be credited as mmt wallet not as orginal payment method chosen at the time of cancellation. I didn't agree because it is violating human rights as i am bound to spend that money by future bookings only from mmt (Matter of more than approx 80, 000 inr).

                          5 as per instruction, i raised complaint again on 7th june to mmt :reference no.[protected]: it looks like no refund possible only credit shell/ reschedule possible.

                          6 conatcted etihad for this on 9th june 2020, as per them refund request has been never processed from makemytrip end which was raised by me on 17th april itsel[censored]
                          Cencellation charges are clearly written on ticket and i am expecting a refund to payment method as chosen at the time of cancellation. Not expecting so many harrasment, ambiguous emails absolutly no transparency from mmt end.

                          Please see below my conversation with etihad. I would expect mmt will take proper initiative to refund back peoples hard earning money including me as lot of refund complaint in fb social media site as well.

                            I booked my vietjet air tickets from delhi-bali-delhi bit due to the ban on international flights by government of india the flight couldn't operate and before the flight departure date the ailrines came up with the policy of 100% refund for the flights impacted by covid-19 pandemic whioch also included my flight and they refunded 100% amount to the original source of payment i. E makemytrip but make my trip is not ready to refund my money and despite of several calls and follow up; i am not getting any response from them which is unfair. Request you to please look into my complaint and get it resolved at the earliest

                              Sir/mam,

                              I booked a ticket in makemytrip.com for my friend for chennai to delhi in indigo flight (Pnr: vl2lvw) and delhi to srinagar in air asia (Pnr: lt6mql), date of journey on march 22, 2020. As march 22 was declared as locked down by our honourable primeminister, the flight got cancelled and i received a message in email stating that my refund would be initiated and will be credited to my account in 7 working days. Till date i didn't receive any refund from makemytrip. I checked with indigo customer care they confirmed that they already initiated the refund and its been credited to makemytrip. For air asia ticket, makemytrip has not yet credited my refund of 9217 inr. I have contacted makemytrip india with all my means in getting my refund, but nothing worked. Kindly request you to help me in getting my refund.

                                I had made a booking on makemytrip (Booking id: nn[protected] for travel abroad in june 2020. Due to covid-19, the flights were cancelled and accordingly i cancelled the flight booking on 24th may 2020. During cancellation i had opted for the payment to the same account from which payment was made.

                                Mmt has transferred the amount to my mmt wallet account. I made several attempts on phone, through the link they have provided but i am neither able to speak to mmt customer care representative. Mmt also sent of customer support which always ends with "something went wrong". Mmt is keeping my money and are totally inaccessible.

                                The refund policy of mmt reads as follows:

                                The refund will be credited to the same account from which the payment was made. For example, if the user used a credit card, mmt will make an appropriate charge reversal to the same credit card; like-wise if the user used a debit card, mmt will credit the money to the same debit card.

                                I would like mmt to refund the amount to my same credit card through which the payment was made.

                                    I booked my ticket for 16th april, 2020 from ccu-dib but it got cancelled due to extension of lockdown. According to new norms of dgca, full refund during lockdown period is to be made in the respective bank accounts. Accordingly i cancelled my ticket on 30th april, but haven't received the refund amount of the vistara airline (Ixb-dib). So, i contacted the airline (On 23rd may) and according to them they have already processed the refund amount of 2815 inr from their end long ago.
                                    But mmt has not processed yet and moreover its showing that there is no refund (Ss attached with this). I tried to contact them multiple times and also sent them mail but there is no response to any.
                                    I want the refund to be proceed asap.

                                        I have initiated a international flight booking from tromso, norway to kozhikode, india on 22nd april 2020. After payment, the ticket was not issued. Details given below

                                        I contacted same day for my refund, your agent informed me to wait 10 days.. After 10 days when i am checking the status on website, it showing that you will contact me for the same within 21 to 45 days. Till now i didn't get the refund.
