I have canceled my hotel booking on 5th jan. Refund should have processed by 10th jan. Today is 22nd still i didn't get any refund. Called customer care multiple times still no solution. They don't know how long it will take to process the refund. Refund amount is around 61000. Its huge amount. It seems makemytrip is fraud and making fool of customer. Waiting for the refund.

    I booked mumbai coimbatore flight through mmt on 20th jan 20. (Booking no. Nf[protected]). When i tried web check-in, air india site showed no valid booking. When tried contacting mmt all customer service were not giving any feedback. When i reached airport, air india said mmt has overbooked the tickets and this flight is full so we cannot accommodate you.
    Tried calling mmt customer care but no response.
    It is very frustrating.
    Never ever book ait tickets through make my trip and never travel by air india

      The issue is that on 27th dec pune-delhi 1310 vistara flight pnr k8k9e4 i (Naveen agrawal) had not traveled while rest of the passengers traveled. I requested a refund for the same. As an evidence i attached boarding card of next air vistara flight that i had travelled on - 27th dec 1655 flight uk998. However mmt is not responding to online complaints/emails. They are sending false smses that they tried calling me. When i called their cust rep said she will revert to me but not so far...

        I tried booking a air ticket on make my trip site for the 19th of jan. For a 1pm idigo flight from mumbai to goa.

        $87.60 australian dollars were taken and a message came up that some thing went wrong with booking will return the money with in three days.

        Not heard anything and a lot of waste of time chasing this up l presumethis is how make my trip makes a living.

          Trip was booked to amritsar at time of booking agent said refund will be provided if cancelled due to medical reasons unfortunately 4 days before trip i was admitted to hospital for 2 days with severe gastro i informed mmt agent asap reassurance was given of getting refund upon discharge i have submitted medical reports also however it's been over a month no refund has been processed

          Pls note that I am still paying emis to the tune of 15k plus for a trip I was unable to take due to illness apart from medical bills I used to book via makemytrip but now I will never do so as I realized in a bad way that it's better to plan your own holiday instead of relying on travel agents

          After more than 2 months I get a message saying that the refund I am getting is 31837/-. I paid a total of 95000/- for this package. On medical grounds it was cancelled but getting only a 33 percent refund is pathetic! My advice to anyone is to never book holiday packages with tour operators, especially air travel!
          Not sure where all the rest of the amount went.. surely atleast a 50 percent refund can be expected?

          Getting a 33% refund on package cancelled for medical emergency is JUST NOT DONE!!

          This package was booked using hard earned money of senior citizens and myself. We had to cancel because I was hospitalized just before the trip. I am still going through the after effects as the condition I have takes time to heal.
          I have been a regular customer of MMT and have been using it to book flights domestic as well as international travel. However, now I am pretty sure with this kind of refund I will not be using MMT anymore.

          Please ensure you give a better refund or give us another option, either package or air miles of same cost. We are middle class, hard working people, it's difficult for us to pay off EMIs on holiday packages like this and we are doing so inspite of not going on the trip at all!!

          YOU JUST LOST A LONG TERM CUSTOMER!

            I accidently created an account on make my trip. I tried to delete it by looking into the account but couldn't find an option 'to delete'. This is annoying me with the advertisements and frequent mails, so please help me out. I would be very pleased if you could delete it permanently for me. Kindly do the needful.

              We had booked a internation flight from mumbai to dubai. Booking id is as follows
              Thereafter we cancelled our ticket and asked to refund the money in the make my trip wallet. As per your terms and conditions the wallet money does not expire but to my shock when i tried to use the money it gave a error of bank. I had three wallet money and the technical team solved one error but did not do the same for rest two wallets. I pursued the matter constantly but they transferred one wallet money 9968/- to some unkown account which i dont know. They made my one wallet zero and other there is money rs 9968 /-.                 I have booked ticket on 31st dec 2019, refrence : d4cmneds (Operator pnr: ts[protected]pjbb/101201/stt - 999n). Usually it should refund in 3 to 5 days. But its 18 days till now.. I have asked 5 times with chat help but they say we will get call in next 1hrs and refund will come in 2days.. But notting happened. Please help me on the same.

                  inability to change or reschedule the travel date

                  I had booked a bus from vijayapura to banglore on 15th january, dating 16th... Since i will not be able to make that journey i tried to reschedule on the app, which was not possible and was asked to call the operator, who in turn did not allow it stating that it was the make my trip personal or the app which should provide the option and not the bus operator... Since i had to book a ticket on another date i did book a ticket for 18th january......

                  I have got the link in e mail and whatsapp for the location of the ozhar airport. That link shows the name of the airport as ozhar airport but the link shows the direction of gandhinagar airport which is a military airport. We were on time but due to wrong address link, we reached the correct aiport late by 20 minutes, missed our flight. I had to stay in nashik in hotel, paid for flight for new booking worth rs. 23000/- and reached one day late and missed my meeting that affected my career as well.

                    This is the second complaint, previously i lodged a complaint and no calls from makemytrip has been done, i'm extremely disappointed with makemytrip because i had booked for bhurj khalifa activity on december 12 th for which the voucher was not sent to me and i couldn't contact the local agent,
                    I made several international calls to make my trip and they resent the voucher after the time got over. We were not able to use the vouchers and after making so many calls and complaints make my trip is not ready to refund the money for the same. Booking i'd - 0180 - activity bhurj khalifa

                    I tried booking a hotel in Mussorie through the MMT app and was redirected to a page where it showed that my booking is in progress. I was given a booking ID and amount was also deducted from my bank account. This creates a lot of problem for the customers who rely on the online apps for booking their requirements.

                      refund not processed despite of visa refusal

                      I booked an lufthansa international flight ticket through makemytrip from delhi to berlin on 22nd december 2019, but was unable to travel because my schengen visa application was rejected by the germany embassy. When i contacted makemytrip and sent them the visa refusal letter days before of my travel date, they state that the refusal copy is not stamped by the german embassy therefore will be unable to process the refund as lufthansa is...

                      Kindly note i have booked a ticket for 5 persons on the 31st of december 2019 vide pnr/booking ref.: cg6cgp.
                      And have cancelled the same immediately with two hours. I am supposed to get return of my total money within 7 days from the date of transaction as per indigo. They also confirmed money has been transferred to your account as you was the booking agent.

                        On 31st of dec we booked a resort through mmt and when we went for check in they denied saying they don’t have any update from mmt. And when I called them like 10 times they have told many many things . First they send a alternate hotel and then they say they cannot book the same and finally I was ok with some other hotel and then the person send me the hotel booking in which we were denied for the first time . And later I was told by staff Deepu that the refund will be initiated in 2 days and I booked some other hotel of my own . Half of our time wasted .. our newyear our money everything wasted and now they are not ready for the refund as well .. now adays the only thing I do is calling them from morning to night . Please help me

                          Hi,

                          Booked a round trip flight ticket from chennai to ahmedabad. Applied coupon for 1500 cash back, but after booking it is showing 1 rs coupon applied which i haven't applied. It seems to be kind of tricking people by attracting and cheating at last. I have attached screen shot of coupon applied as well. Please take a look at it and initiate cash back.

                            I had a problem with the surname of two passengers i booked the ticket of traveling alongside me on 30th of december 2019 from delhi to kolkata on flight sg-372. I called them they said in a recorded call that they will speak to spice jet and call me back (Incident took place in 23rd of december, 2019). As assured earlier they called me back and mailed me to send the correct id proofs to spicejet and they will reply back with the updated tickets.
                            I was assured the same. Then 2 days passed on the 25th i received a mail from spicejet that they don't have a policy to change names so they can't do as i was promised by makemytrip, so i called back at makemytrip and they said they will look into it. Then again after 2 days they called and asked me to book new tickets with correct names, and i will get the refund of the original booking price along with the fare difference. Just they needed a verification that would take just 2 to 6 hours. It was on 27th of december, 2019. Then next they called me on 1st of january 2020 trying to convince me it was my fault, but i quiet rightly have a mail which says that they will send me the corrected ticket that was assured. I am also attaching the screenshots please have a look, they did give me the assurance that i will get my new tickets. But unfortunately now they are trying to prove me wrong.

                              It is with great regret i have to write this complaint. I made a booking for my mother to visit northeast with the above booking id. The booking was made for two women (Flights, hotels and visits). My mother's friend later on cancelled her flight bookings. No intimation was sent to any o[censored]s. My mother was sent flight tickets and on the airport she finds out that those tickets were cancelled. Before leaving for the airport she contacted the assigned agent from makemytrip to find out the terminal and was told to go to terminal 3 only to be told her flights have been cancelled. She had to buy full price flight tickets, not to mention the trauma a seventy year old women (And we as family) had to go through.

                              We have been contacting your organisation for 3 months now for refund of the tickets but despite multiple calls (In september, 21st october, 06, 12 and 29 th december there has been no resolution (Only promises to call back withing 24 hours).

                              I as a son am frustrated by this behaviour and now demand a full refund (Of the entire holiday cost) of the money we paid to makemytrip.

                              I am really hoping we can resolve this between ourselves without a third party mediation.

                                I have a credit limit of rs. 2 lakhs in mmt travel finance. I have been told my mmt customer care executives that recently its name has been changed to tripmoney. After the change my credit limit was successfully showing under the name tripmoney in my mmt app. Suddenly the same has disappeared from the homepage and payments page. As a result i am not able to pay my emis and i am not able to utilize my credit limit to buy flight tickets....

                                Airline booking ticket money taken twice later in bank account and banking showing link failure leading to multiple bookings while carrying out booking.

                                Extra amount taken by makemytrip rs 5673/-for two link failure bookings in early hours of 04 jan 2020. One passenger booking amit sharma. Mobile no used [protected]. Email account [protected]@gmail.com. Two tickets were not received. One received in the mail. The customer care service are on auto with no dedicated person.

                                Third and fourth bookings through makemytrip and airline were successful for which money was debited from the account and tickets received in the mail.

                                Request organises refund of rs 5673/-debited by makemytrip without delay for link failures.

                                Relevant bank statement enclosed.

                                  The rail booking from lucknow to delhi with rail booking id nr[protected] got cancelled on 25 th december. I got msg from makemytrip that you get refund within 3 to 5 days. Now, it is 5 th of january more than 12 days passed, they are not refunding my money. I have sent them screenshot of my card transaction statement from 21 st december to till now. But, they are telling they don't have reference number and their customer care team stating we cannot do anything in this regard. Their seniors will look after it but when their seniors refund my money, even they don't know. It is my kind advice to everyone, not make any booking from makemytrip because if your ticket get cancelled, they never refund your money back.
