I booked tickets for my father as per Reference No.[protected] : NN2H0QUPH9JVRW7G6981.
After booking the ticket on Makemytrip website there was an option to include Travel insurance. I accepted the option for insurance and paid the additional amount. (February 07 2023)
On receiving the insurance document, it only had my fathers name on the policy. I sent an email to Reliance company and asked them to add passport details on the policy. They asked for a passport copy which I sent. (March 02 2023)
Now Reliance is saying that the insurance has to be cancelled as my fathers age is above 70. (March 04 2023)
My father is already in South Africa. (March 04 2023)

Can you pl assist with the travel insurance for my father. I am a regular customer of Makemytrip and expect some customer service from your company.

    I book an Ladakh 29th March 2023 for Ladakh.
    We were suppose to pay nearly 2, 32, 000 but at the moment of payment of the booking fee it raised to nearly 2, 42, 000.
    We were offered 46, 400 per head for 5 people and while booking it went to 48, 400 per head.
    Now our cousin had also booked for the same trip booking after us for approximately 39, 300 per head. That is nearly 1, 18, 000 for the 3 of them.

    Why is there so much of price difference between us for the same exact trip.

      I am expectig a refund of 37800 (approx) from MMT against the booking ID MN2R7RJZIVA6OGER3318. Since last 15 days MMT and team is making a fool of me by saying that refund has been processed and will come to you soon. At times they say that we have processed the refund and I should chk with my bank and at times they say that they processed the refund and it got declined. In the last 10 days I have spoken to their cust service reps Paras, Deepti, Khushi, Aakash supervisor Arvind but everyone in totally useless. The only thing that they say is that refund is on its way and that I should wait.
      It is a team of completely inefficient people who just make a fool of customers and nothing else

        Booked a cab service with makemytrip and chose the partial payment option (paid some amount in advance and rest as cash on arrival). However to my horror, makemytrip billed me almost twice the amount on arrival. I tried reaching makemytrip customer service to understand the issue but was unable to reach customer service and got lost in the IVR options. Since there was no other option left, I paid the driver and later raised a complaint with makemytrip. After investigation by makemytrip, it was clear the driver had fraudulently entered wrong number of miles to inflate the amount. After sitting on the issue for 2-3 days and even though after knowing the driver fraudulently inflated the miles, makemytrip decided to side with the driver and started asking me for proof (apparently the invoice they send you is not considered proof by them)

          I was on holiday trip to Andaman on Dec 2021. My booking id is NL[protected]
          Just before the trip my return flight to kochi from Port Blair was cancelled by the flight company Go Air. And MakeMyTrip initiated a refund of Rs.16656 on behalf of me. In that refund only Rs.2850 was credited back to my account. Balance of the refund never credited to my account. MakeMyTrip officials are saying it was delayed due to the flight company as they didn’t give refund to MakeMyTrip. When I enquired with Go Air by calling their customer care they confirmed that refund was given to MakeMyTrip. Go air PNR is BB56WQ. Still now no response from MakeMyTrip officials

            For my booking ID NL[protected], I had categorically requested 4 star hotel where I had been given Hotel Trans international .

            This is literally 2 star hotel as per below

            Rooms are not up to standards
            Linen not provided. Upon asking for hand towel - was given paper tissues
            Toilet roll given felt like used
            Toilet seat has marks on it
            No complimentary water tea and coffee in room
            No facial tissues in room
            No hair dryer amd iron
            Towels not provided
            Extra bed request where the blanket was alll with stain and cover was broken
            Fan is making noise
            AC isn’t working peoperty
            Lifts in hotel isn’t working

            And this is 4 star hotel

            Felt like inhave been ripped by saying this is 4star accomodation

            I need my money back extremely disappointed with the facility and even suggestion by MMT

              Incapable Staffs have made me pay Additional Charges

              My booking experience for a Trip to Nepal has not been so good as I thought it to be.
              The seller was incapable of handling customers, understanding about the customers, their documents etc..

              I provided all my documents to the seller for verification and go ahead with the booking. She checked and asked me to proceed entering details in the online form and pay the booking amount.

              She never verified my details...

              Sub: Horrifying experiences after booking holiday package with Makemytrip
              Ref: Booking ID No: NL[protected]
              I present below the following facts:
              1. I (Sheela Raj), along with my family had booked an Andaman Package with Four Star Hotel Stay for a period of 6 nights, 7 days ( 6/03/23 to 12/03/23) . (Booking ID NL[protected]
              2. We had paid in advance all the charges for the stay at 4 STAR HOTELS for this Andaman package.
              3. Appallingly, we were put up in the cheapest rooms in 3 star hotels at Havellock and Neil islands. The rooms were pathetic with unclean washroom, broken furniture and no basic amenities like hot water etc. (We have the Photographs of the room)
              4. When we tried to reach out to MMT, they were totally unresponsive and unhelpful. Ms Meena Sharma, who had done our bookings was not picking up our calls. Such callous and unsupportive attitude towards customers from MMT is highly unprofessional and deplorable.
              5. There were many other issues and bad experiences with the arrangement made by MMT during this trip, which will be elaborated in my further communications if needed.
              6. As a matter of fact, MMT totally ruined our holiday trip by putting us through lot of hardships and mental harassment because of their utter mismanagement of our trip.
              7. We have been contacting MMT before we started our trip, during our trip and after returning from the trip but with no respite/ resolution to our grievances. During our communications with MMT we were never put through to a senior management person inspite of repeated requests.
              8. MMT’s so called service specialist, Ms Nikita Basnotra, was trying to justify, with vague reasoning, that the hotels where we were put up was indeed 4 star hotels, even after MMT representative at Havellock island, the hotel themselves and the websites of the Hotels clearly state that they are 3 star hotels.
              9. MMT has clearly cheated us by putting us up at 3 STAR hotels after confirming and taking payment for four star hotel stays. We thus demand that MMT refund us the amount paid for the 4 star hotel stays at the earliest.

                I have a grievance.

                I wanted to attend a death ceremony and in urgency i booked a ticket 2 hrs ago on 12 Feb 2022. I am in Chennai right now. I wanted to go from Chennai to Mumbai. But by genuine mistake due to panic, i did a wrong sector booking i, e from Mumbai to Chennai.

                Then my ordeal started.

                I called more than 7 times.
                Spoke to MMT team x 3 times.
                Spoke to Air India x 2 times.
                No one helped me with change of sector, nor change of date ( 4 weeks down the line 13th March 2022) and nor refund.

                I am very disappointed right now.

                I do not want to lose my hard earned money.

                Please use kindly your discretion and help me with a resolution.

                  We had a booked flights from India to US which had to be cancelled due to change in flight itinerary by the airlines (Etihad). Despite confirming that the cancellation was fully refundable due to the nature of the change in itinerary, Make My Trip is yet to refund the full amount. Multiple followups via phone and email have yielded no results. Etihad confirmed over phone call that they have already settled the claim with Make My Trip, whereas Make My Trip has not bothered to even respond to email requests about status. Booking was cancelled in January 2023. it has been way past the 45 business days for receipt of refund.

                    Hello, it's been 4months last December 23rd 2022 my flight from dubai to Mangalore got canceled and I had to take another flight. My pnr no. EO7A89.
                    It's been 4months still I dint get my refund, I had mailed and spoken with makemytrip customer care still no response, I need you to please help me and see that the matter is resolved.

                      My booking ref :BA9QOE hasnt been refunded as i have contacted makemytrip on the same day and again and again to cancel. Refund it . the customer service lady name suman snehi replied me selecting wrong pnr and sended wrong email to me which is not my flight .I reached them many times but My case has been ignored still after 3/4 mths .there is no proper contact from makemy trip. Even when i have the proof from contact with airline which was operating the flight .
                      Call center give false information to customer and customer support email is use less and i proper email . They keep on sending different refundable amt on email wher as my ticket should be refunded fully since I contacted them on time.

                        This is to bring to your notice that I am still waiting for the Refund payment of the ticket cancelled that was booked via booking id: NR[protected]

                        The ticket was cancelled on 18-Dec well before the travel time & chart preparation
                        It's been 94 days since the cancellation but the refund hasn't been processed yet..

                          With great difficulty it was sorted out...as there no real human interface with MakeMyTrip (through email, whatsapp either on App or wesbite)...Only a landline...which keeps one holding ..respective of the fact if if it is an international call ..for 20-30 minutes...and again no assurance of help!

                          By mistake, I have transferred Rs from my GPay to MakeMyTrip UPI GPay account.

                          I am sending mails and calling customer service and getting any response for getting refund.

                          I didn't except this bad service from recognised organisation.

                            I booked airticket for Bagdogra-Delhi (27 April) (Air Asia) and Delhi -Bagodra(07 May) Go Air - PNR Z655GT and OYYE7G respectively. However, deductions have been made twice from my account. An amount of Rs.16, 306 has been deducted twice as can be seen from my bank statement. This was my first booking at MakeMyTrip and I did not have the good experience. Kindly make sure a refund of Rs.16, 306 is made to me urgently.                                 I have a flight booked from Dubai to Bangalore through make my trip.
                                During the process there was a typo error in the email address I entered by Make My Trip system has no facility to verify the email address entered and they send the ticket to incorrect email address entered. They sent a link to manage the booking on my mobile number but while clicking on the link it does not take me to my booking but instead to log in to make my trip id and when I am logging in, I am unable to find the booking since it was made with a wrong email address. I have contacted customer care and it gave me no support to update my email address after giving all my booking details.

                                I am worried if I will not be notified to any changes to this booking due to poor support system of Make My Trip.

                                I don't understand how such an established company does not verify the email address you entered.

                                While calling the customer support in Dubai, there is no option to speak to the support directly but the system asks to update the last four digit of the booking number but the system does not recognize my booking number.

                                Poor service!

                                  I had booked a flight from Delhi to London Heathrow for 18th March 2023 and paid INR 54983
                                  On March 13th, i requested for cancellation and the customer care told me the about the cancellation charges which are also mentioned on the invoice as INR 15566 (airline charges) and INR 649 (MMT charges)
                                  I have been issued ZERO refund. Conveniently MMT doesnt recognise my booking anymore when i am trying to get in touch with customer care and do not have an email support either
                                  Unethical and fraud service. fellow customers beware

                                    I had booked a flight from Delhi to London Heathrow worth INR 54983 for 18th March 2023.
                                    I requested cancellation on 13th March through the MMT helpline and was informed of the cancellation charges (also mentioned on the ticket) as INR 15566 (airlines charges) and INR 649 (MMT charges).
                                    MMT has issued me ZERO refund. the helpline no longer recognizes my booking and they have no email support. Way to rob off the customer!!
