Website: Make my trip

I have booked a hotel at coorg and makemytrip booking id - nh[protected]. After a week received email from makemytrip executive saying that the hotel has some operational issues and they are suggesting some options. They gave me an option which i didn't like. I wrote back to then asking to provide any other option. Later the next day executive called me up and said he will shortly send in the option. He didn't return back. I tried approaching their customer care and they said that some other team is handling this case. They connected me to that team and the lady who answered said that this issue is being handled by vishal (Rep who is handling it). She said it will be resolved in a day. I didn't receive any communication later on. I am unable to cancel it by their app and support. I want to cancel the booking and get full refund. It is so much of mental pressure to me to look into such a mess when we are planning for a happy holiday. I want my money back.

Initially, they have tried to provide you alternate property as the original booked hotel was not confirmed. But, the alternate property was not suitable for you. Team then tried to find out other options but, unable to found any. Later, you have asked to cancel the booking and team has processed full refund of Inr 2125/- on 08-Sep-17 with a refund reference number # [protected]. The same should reflect in your account within few days depending upon your bank processing cycle. We thank you for writing to us.

    I booked with makemytrip with booking id nh[protected] for a 3 day stay at ooty paying inr 5544.00 on 6th instant. I received a successful booking confirmation mail and sms.

    But today morning i. E 7th instant, i receive a call from the hotel staff stating that my booking is not confirmed from their end and to contact makemytrip on refund issues.

    Since then i have been calling makemytrip for customer support and also mailed them, but in vain.

      Actually i had booked two air tickets booked from mangalore to bombay, bombay to cochin, thereafter i came to know that is long rout, so immediately i cancelled it and booked mangalore to bangalore and bangalore to cochin. But i have refunded very small amount and it caused heavy loss of rupees 26000. U being india's no.1traveling agency must guide the passengers showing near rout, when searching for rout, but i can't cheat the poor passengers. Within 24 hours i had got cancelled the tickets and next day booked new one. Still u cheating ur reputed passenger refunded a very small amount. So i sustained heavy loss. I being judicial magistrate is accountable for every pai. Thus request i to reconsider the cancellation policy and refund me full amount. Or else i being judicial magistrate have to initiate legal action against u.

        Dear geeta/ ceo deep kalra

        We had made booking for switzerland. We also made payment of rs. 1, 30, 000 to mmt already.

        Later due to incompetency and misguidance by visa team our visa got rejected.

        Now we are re-applying for visa on 14 september, but now your team is pressuring us to make whole payment by 15 september.

        We have raised all our concerns to melanie in customer delight team, but she has not helped us in any rightful manner. We have asked her to give us time till 22nd but she is not ready to listen anything. Her behaviour has been such with our concerns that i think whether she is a part of customer delight team or customer harassment team. On calling numerous times also, she does not receives calls. Moreover on asking to be connected to her boss she bluntly said that i am the overall boss here.

        Such behavior and service is really disgusting. We are loyal customers of mmt and very shocked by such level of service now.

        We belong to reputed power circle of lucknow and shocked to see such nexus of bad service and scam being created where my wife was tricked to make payment and is being harassed.

        Please look into this matter urgently and do the needful. We are so aggrevated that now we are thinking to take up legal and necessary media and social media intervention also.

          I had booked flights through mmt for ahmedabad to delhi and delhi to kathmandu and back (Total of 4 flights that originated/landed in delhi). Upon enquiring about the udf refund the customer care officials have told me that they shall not refund the udf fees for me and my friends who had the same fights. The stated reason was that this refund is given only to those whose final destination is delhi.
          My understanding is that udf is charged regardless of whether my final destination is delhi or not. Hence, i should be refunded the charge for all 4 flights.

            I booked a homestay for me and my friend in bomdilla via make my trip.. The order id was mhs67247 and mhs67249... I cancelled my stay..4 days prior to my intended stay.. Dat was.. On 1st july.. Yet i havent received refund amounting to rs..970...in my bank account... For those two bookings even when their policy said amount will be credited if i cancel 3 days prior to my stay..

              We made a booking through mmt for lemon tree aurangabad booking if nh[protected] and due to website error it booked for 1 guests whereas we entered 2 guests and now after repeated compliments they just reply that we have to rs 1700 approx extra instead of rs 500 which is really very bad and they are not replying to our calls. This is a harassment to a senior citizen and such a approach is uncalled for and it shows how unprofessional this company is

                  Actually MakeMyTrip.com has deducted my money from my account after a while of submitting OTP by me for flight booking & then I emailed MakeMyTrip so they told me they'll pay my money back to my account within 72hours but still they dint payed.                     Hi team,

                    This is regarding pnr no h6nngp & makemy trip booking id: nf[protected] ticket booked from delhi (Del) to pune (Pnq) on may 26th 2017 and journey date 25 july 2017. I have booked ticket with citi bank card with cash back offer rs 1200 which will be refunded back to my account with in 60 days but still i didn't get any cash back till now. I tried to contact customer care multiple times but no response from them.

                    This is not the proper way to deal with the customer and expecting earliest reply on my query.

                    Let me know if any further details req from my end..

                      Have booked a bus ticket from agra to new delhi on 11th aug but the phone number provided there was wrong so i was unable to board that bus. And raised a complaint for the refund on the very same date on 15th aug but till the date my refund has not been initiated. When i contacting with makemy trip customer support team they used to keep my call on hold for long and with the same answer from every single person that the refund has been initiated on 20th aug and asking to share the pdf of account statement if not received yet. I did that too but still they are saying the same thing instead of sharing any transaction reference number so that can check with bank for the same.

                        This is to inform you that i had booked flight with booking id: [protected] with pnr : jh216h from hyd to indore, flight 6e 416 on 14th aug 2017 which we had to cancel as there was a mishap in our family. We had taken up the cancellation matter with indigo airlines for refund of amount against our booking in flight 6ê 416 for two persons. They had agreed to refund the same and told us that the amounts will be transferred to you since it is booked through you. Two days back when we contacted them again they have confirmed that the following amounts were transferred to you:

                        Rs 1712 transferred on 13th aug 2017 and rs 4406 transferred on 27th aug.
                        They have requested us to contact you for the same so that the refund can be sent by you. But in spite of our several attempts we were not able to establish contact with your customer service team. So, we request you to reply to us action taken at your end. We also request you to refund the convenience fee charged by you against the above cancellation and see that your action is prompt and effective to resolve the issue without further delay.

                          Booking id:nn[protected], booking made on 9 june 2017

                          Made a booking with makemytrip for an international flight. There was a cash back of inr 382 promised at the time of booking.

                          Later on cash back was not processed and on inquiring, they raised a support request : reference id:[[protected]]

                          They said amount is paid to hdfc credit card, but hdfc said no
                          [protected]

                          Reference id:[[protected]] - closed without resolution

                          Called again makemytrip on 28 aug 2017 and they refused to open old ticket and raised new ticket

                            This complaint is regarding booking id: nh[protected]. I booked a room in fabhotel mishra residency new town, kolkata for 3 nights starting from 25th august 2017. When i and my wife reached the hotel, the receptionist told me that no such room has been booked on my name. After a lot of arguments with him, he gave us a very small-room cheap low-cost room in the hotel. We had booked a super delux room and were forced to spend the night in a low-cost cheap room in the hotel without any amenities. Next morning they transferred us to one of their nearby hotels which was no better. We never got the room which we'd booked and payed for. I want make my trip to pay me the compensation and stop doing frauds with customers with hotel bookings. This is a cyber crime and i will not hesitate taking this matter to the police.

                              I have booked a holiday package to shimla manali chandigarh, journey starts on[protected]. As the situation at chandigarh is violent and curfew is raised lately and also since i am travelling with my family, i requested to either postpone or cancel and refund the amount. But the team is saying everything is fine and insisting us to travel to the danger. I never expected such a behavior from make my trip personals. My whole rs:74, 000.00 is in vein even though it is not my fault to cancel the trip. It is too dangerous and risky to travel during such a violent situation and even we are expecting the verdict on the case on monday. Please help me to get the refund or reschedule to a future date.

                                I mr nagamadhuyadav i have tried to book my flight ticket air india 6:35am from hyd to delhi ticket was unsuccessfully but amount was debuted from my account rs8004 on 24/08/2017 time 21:00:36 reference mail i'd [protected]@gmail.com please refund my amount no customer care person to talk only computer recorded msg repeats. I request all the customers who have suffered from makemytrip company come together i work in media i am going to make special programme on this cheating companies. I request makemytrip to refund my amount to prove your self.

                                  I cancelled two hotel bookings via makemytrip on 13 august. I have not received any refund in my bank account yet but makemytrip claims to have refunded the money. I have proofs from my bank statement to validate no refund was credited to my account. I have sent an email to the makemytrip attaching my bank statement as proof. There is no way to contact their refund team and they are not paying my refund.

                                    Dear sir,

                                    We came to know that udf & aat charges if paid already for the travel dates after 8th of july are refundable by respective airlines if tickets are booked prior to 7th of july, 2017. I would like to inform you that i have booked following air tickets through your portal on 27th of june, 2017 for which i have paid entire payment i/c udf & aat thru my debit card and now as per the recently amended director general of civil aviation (Dgca) guidelines, udf and aat for travel from / to igi airport (Delhi) is hereby revised and no longer applicable respectively after travel date 8th of july, 2017. May i request you to arrange my refund towards aforementioned charges from respective airlines as per details of ticket given below and transfer to my debit card account.

                                      Ref no[protected] dt 11/08/2017 complaint booking id nc[protected] car booked on 28/07/2017 from chandigarh to mcleodganj. The car details shared by mmt was different and a different car came to pick us. So we cancelled our trip. Mmt initiated the refund as they claim against the reference no[protected] but the refund was credited to my account. After several follow ups with customer service they still didn't refund the amount. Please help me get my refund.

                                        Once the booking is done and the customer needs help. No response comes. Extremely pathetic behavior. Customer care executives also misguide.
                                        I want to bring into your notice a recent incidence where i booked a round trip from ahmedabad to delhi. Pnr no - t3279n on sunday i. E. 20 aug'17 through make my trip. By mistake i clicked on wrong flight and booked it. After knowing this i immediately called their customer care. Nobody was ready to help.
                                        To my surprise, mmt staff was not ready to listen and denied any help immediately. I tried to modify it but there was no option of changing the time of flight (To take different flight)
                                        I just want to say that i had booked ticket from make my trip over the other service providers. I did not expect this kind of behavior from the airlines staff.
                                        After this incidence, i will neither choose this airlines in future nor i will recommend anyone to use it. This is not expected from the airlines.
