Makemytrip fair:

Extremely disgusting unsatisfactory unprofessional service by makemytrip.When they promise something they should keep it up. There is no point in playing with my money.
Makemytrip has conducted a fair on april 9th, 2016 at taj krishna, hyderabad.
The fair was marketed with these clauses
"great discounts upto 10000/- off
Personalized assitance
Free cancellation"
Unfortunately, i have not got none of the above.For any reason, if we wish to cancel the booking made in the fair, free cancellation was allowed.Ivr - [protected] also talks about free cancellation.
The so called expert who handled our case is vaidehi ashwin dalal- vaidehi.[protected]@makemytrip.In mobile - [protected].The expert made me sit for 2.5 hours for just guiding manali tour.She has no idea about what's the correct date to travel.She was calling her seniors for everything and wasted my time.
I asked her to give me a good deal which i won't get it online.She gave 1000/- per person discount and told that whatever deals are online are not stable.She convinced me to travel on may 5th.
And i specifically asked if we could cancel the booking.She said yes.So i booked on april 9th with a booking amount of 5000/- (In1603b0s296927 )
However, to my surprise, i noticed that online i could much a better discount of 1500/- (Hld1500)+ 650/- off . And i also observed that the expert guided me wrongly because if
I travelled on may 5th, as per the itenary, rohtang pass visit falls on tuesday. On tuesdays rohtang pass is closed.
Along with wasting my time, money, fuel, i got wrong guidance. I requested them to cancel my booking and refund my money.I got hurt how they lured customers into fair.
Makemytrip has been extremely unprofessional and making me run behind everyone for refunding my money and still there is no update on my cancellation query:[protected]
I did the following
1) call customer care. They say this booking is offline.So they can't take action on it.
2) called holiday expert vaidehi ashwin dalal and requested her to cancel the booking
3) she said, it is sunday and wait for monday
4) i officially sent a mail to cancel the booking on april 10th 2016 itself.There is no other way to cancel since the customer care does not handle offline bookings.
5) monday i called back.She said her manager will call.
6) manager (Rohit.[protected]@makemytrip.com)called. He was arguing that cancellation is not free.I told him that was the promise in the fair and even the fair related ivr - [protected] also talks about free refund. I told him i recorded the ivr call.
He said he will get back the next day
7) no update on next days
8) called customer care. They said they are helpless only holiday expert can help
9) called expert vaidehi. She raised one query[protected].
10) no updates on the query from the past 2 weeks
11)vaidehi says it is not her hands. Customer care says it is not their hands
12) i escalated three times online
13) no update on query/ refund till 24th april 2016
