"Its not about the money, its about the false promises you throw". Booked hotel mapple adhwryou in pune with booking ID NH[protected] on 8th of december, under the name of nisha narwal ([protected]@yahoo.in), mobile no. [protected] for dates 25dec, checkin to 26dec, checkout and cancelled the booking on 20th (due to some reasons), got a promising mail and text message that cancellation request has been received and The amount of INR 990 will be processed within next 7 business days. rs 500 was immediately refunded into makemytrip wallet but the other INR 490 rupees which were supposed to be refunded in to my bank account were never debited even after one month of cancellation. i even called the makemytrip helpline numbers like alot of times, and every time every other executive was doing false promises saying it has been processed, giving me the reference id[protected], to share with my bank but even the bank is denying any such transaction. Tired of calling MMT customer care helpline (do you really care about your customer?? well i question that because service provided by you side is not at all justifying that, i used to be a regular user of makemytrip but no longer anymore. its not about the money. its all about the false promises you throw at your customers.     On December 4th 2015 my grandparents who are 92 years old were scheduled to travel from Delhi to Pantnagar, Uttaranchal. We got to the airport 3 hours in advance and waited there peacefully, until Air India employee Mr. M.B. Rathore said flight won't depart due to bad weather in Pantnagar. We were told flight is cancelled and issued a letter signed my Mr. M.B. Rathore and stamped by Air India stating flight is cancelled due to bad weather in Pantnagar and we should be provided full refund. After this I called up Makemytrip.com and was provided with a hyperlink on their website from where I cancel my ticket. On December 19th 2015 I cancelled my ticket and was told by December 29th refund will be in my account. Today is January 12th 2016 and still no refund. Call center agents hang up on you, talk rudely to you, and when they don't want to assist you, they make up excuses regarding system update. All i get to hear and read through emails is please wait for 72 hours . 3 weeks= 504 Hours, but there 72 hours are still under process.

Further in regards to your complaint, please note that we have checked and found that airlines has marked both of the passenger as Flown on your booking that means that they have already traveled on this PNR, due to which we are unable to claim refund on this booking. Now as per the letter we have raised request to airlines once for advising this issue for which we are still waiting for their revert. Usually in such cases Air India takes a lot of time to revert, hence we request to kindly bear with us, or else you can visit Air-India city office to get status changed on your booking so that we claim refund accordingly.

      Refund complaint logged on website as well as on FB but they are not responding now . Completely unprofessional approach from make my trip as I am trying to get refund from last one year but now they are not responding.Even when I escalate the issue to next level in website after few day they revert it back to previous stage i.e they are not escalating the issue also.

        I booked a flight ticket of AIRINDIA through MAKE MY TRIP from Trivandrum to Delhi, which was connecting via Bangalore on 5th March 2015, for which MMT charged INR 400 as service charges. There was a technical fault in AIRINDIA flight (TRIVANDRUM to BANGALORE) resulting in a delay of several hours, due to which i missed the connecting AIRINDIA flight (from BANGALORE to DELHI), for which AIRINDIA issued me a refund slip for the second sector flight charges. I contacted the "Make my TRIP"person through whom i booked the package, who assured me the refund through MMT. I waited for 8 months due to fake promises made by him, after that i filed a complain directly on MMT website. i received a response that only 1396 rs would be refunded(after deducting 600 rs as service charge by MMT out of 1996 rs refund given by AIRINDIA). i disputed this on mail, but they did not acknowledge, i called the REPS of MMt but was disconnected ... HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE PRACTICES OF MAKE MY TRIP ...

        Booking ID data on your website shows that refund is processed. I DISPUTE THAT AMOUNT, as it is way less than what it was supposed to be. (I was promised a refund of 50% amount of total ticket amount i.e; INR 13000/-)

          I booked a non refundable flight with MMT, but the website still clearly mentions that Changes may be allowed to be made to this ticket, subject to applicable airline change fee (date change ) . But when i got the ticket it was clearly mentioned that dates cannot be changed and customer care said the same too . Just because of wrong info at website I got into this trouble . I was supposed to fly on 28TH JAN, but cant do it because o[censored]rgent work pending here . MMT should put on correct information on the website, I want my money back . If it was mention that i cant change date, i would have never booked this ticket . i have the evidence here attached what the website displays and what the ticket says . have a look into this . Now either change the date or return me my money back . i want total refund .

            Sir i booked flights tickets from delhi to goa updown but makemytrip cancelled tickets without providing me any satifactory reason and didnt give me full refund ...               This complaint is regarding the free 2 night hotel stay offer. I have booked a hotel booking for 3500 and paid using the voucher, however it was informed that it will not qualify as I have used the voucher. I have read all terms and conditions on the website and no were its mentioned that the booking will not qualify for the offer if the voucher is used. Also now the minimum booking amount from been increased to 5000. Makemytrip is just fooling their customers. Ref No - NH[protected] Contact Number - +[protected]

                I am writing this letter as a result of a highly disappointing interaction we had with your company which resulted in our honeymoon in Goa being completely ruined and us paying out of pocket for an error caused by the MakeMyTrip website glitch. On January 9th, due to unforeseen circumstances my husband had to book my flight from Goa to Mumbai last minute, for the same day. Prior to this incident, my husband has been a loyal customer of MakeMyTrip for over 8 years. We found the flight I needed and proceeded to book it, at the time of booking the website suddenly switched to the mobile application which was confusing but I proceeded to book. Upon completing the booking and only after I paid, the confirmation showed that the flight had been booked for January 10th instead of January 9th, which was the date when I needed the flight for, and which was the date that continuously showed as I was searching and booking the flight, until the moment I actually paid. I immediately called the MakeMyTrip customer service. MakeMy Trip Appalling Customer Service I am highly disappointed in the so called “customer service” which was provided. First, I was kept on hold for nearly 20 minutes. Then once customer service representative picked up, after I relayed my issue to her, the call was suddenly dropped. Of course, I had to call back again because the agent failed to ask for my call back number which is the basic and standard customer service practice on international level. Upon calling back, another 20 minutes was wasted on hold. Once customer service representative picked up the phone she gave the name of Neha Seth and seemed like she wanted to help. She arranged for a conference call with Jet Airways but after mere two attempts, she said no one was available to answer. This is beyond ridiculous because airlines customer services are available 24/7. No confirmation number for the filed inquiry was provided until my husband requested it; again, another shortcoming and obvious lack of proper training because this is basic and standard customer service practice. The confirmation number given after the request was[protected]. As of today MakeMyTrip representatives are yet to follow up with us whether the issue was resolved. After the confirmation number was provided, my husband was advised to rush to the airport and try to resolve the matter at the Jet Airways counter directly. As a result, cutting short our last day of our already short honeymoon. As a third party travel agent, MakeMyTrip hold themselves out to be amongst the best in travel bookings but at the end of the day all you offer is a website where customers can book flights and hotels, but when the said customer is in trouble he/she is left to sort themselves out without any compassion or interest in truly helping from your representatives. Why even call yourselves travel agents if all you do is take money for a product and then refuse to provide assistance when any trouble arises? This is just the lowest kind of behavior I have ever seen in customer service and simply disgusting because no one even cared that we were on our honeymoon. Your website functions and customer service fall heavily short of what is basic on an international level. We were unable to travel on the same day together, after our honeymoon, and my husband was forced to book a new flight and pay full price out of pocket for a flight for 10th of January. We had to spend more money on taxi travel, food, and transport and suffered undue stress. As a result of the MakeMyTrip malfunction of the website, and refusal to help we incurred the following expenses: Return flight for my husband: 6, 200 RS Return taxi ride from airport on January 9th: 1, 000 RS Bike rental for additional day in Goa January 9th-10th: 500 RS Dinner on January 9th: 1200 RS Breakfast on January 10th: 700 RS Taxi ride to airport on January 10th: 1000 RS ____________________________________________________________ Total loss: 10, 600 RS Above and beyond the financial loss is the high level of stress we experienced and the ruined honeymoon.                   On Dec 16, I was trying to book a flight from Bangalore to Trivandrum on http://www.makemytrip.com for 4 people for journey date Jan 11, 2016. After making the payment, instead of being shown the Booking confirmation page, I was shown an error page saying "There was an internal error. Please try again in a few moments". However, the bill amount of Rs.12000 was deducted from my bank account. Thereafter I asked my colleague to book the same flight on my behalf. He was able to do so successfully and the booking was successful. However, after the booking was completed by my colleague, I got a message on my phone with the PNR details for the earlier failed attempt. As a result, I ended up making two bookings on the same flight for 4 people. I immediately raised a complaint on Dec 16th itself on the the makemytrip website with the screenshot of the error page and other details. In the complaint I asked for cancellation of the duplicate booking with full refund. Complaint Reference ID:[[protected]] . I have also been calling the makemytrip support since Dec 16th. However, each time I was told that the team will look into the issue and provide a resolution. Despite repeated calls and a dozen emails sent regarding the issue, I did not receive any updates/resolution for the issue. Then on Jan 2nd, 17 days after raising the complaint, I received a mail from Chandan.[protected]@makemytrip.com saying that the screenshot was invalid as per the account team. After this I was forced to cancel the duplicate booking myself. Since the flight date was on Jan 11th, I received only Rs.516 as refund from the total cost of Rs.12000. Me and my colleagues have been appalled at this treatment by makmytrip. This was a clear cut case with screenshot. There is even a checkout id which is clearly visible in the browser url of the screenshot. We were expecting the issue to be resolved without any issues. However, not only did makemytrip take 17 days to blindly say that the screenshot is invalid (without stating why), because of this unacceptable delay, I got almost nothing after the cancellation. If this had been communicated in at least 5 days of raising the complaint, I would have got at least 50 % refund on the cancellation of the duplicate booking. This has been a shockingly terrible experience with makemytrip and has tarnished makemytrip's reputation amongst me and my colleagues.

                      I made a booking with MMT with Turkish Airline with my family incuding me and my daughter. Travel Date : 29 Nov 2015 and return date 15 dec 2015 I make changes in my ticket my wife and daugther travelled on 5 spet I paid date change fee and more penatlity charges. I travelled on 29 nov on my ticket but due to Passport Issue I could not travelled on 29th Nov, Airline turkish cancalled my whole ticket stating no show and I checked with MMT they said they cannot help me. I checked with the Airline they said we cancelled but we will give refund now MMT is not refunding and they are giving all the execuses and harrsement

                            Dear Sir, I have booked domestic flight ticket NF[protected] on 7th December 2015.in makemytrip.com by seeing the offer FLYNOW. With this code I got 750 rupees credited to my wallet with 3 months validity. On jan 1st 2016 the wallet money got deducted with out any notice.I have raised complaint[protected] on Jan 1st 2016 till now no resolution and hell lot time got wasted to check with customer care.
