We booked a family holiday at the last trip on MMT- July 16-19 Golden Triangle, while visiting India. We looked up hotels that was part of the package, the photos looked decent. Our first day, we checked in to Hotel Delhi 37. It was an unsafe place, v dirty, hardly any customers staying and v filthy environment. We somehow made it through the night and called MMT to complain and rebook us a better hotel for the last day of the trip, which was at the same hotel. After a lot of back and forth on the phone, they agreed to refund Rs 3800. I asked them to book us a hotel in Delhi, and they said that they couldn't. While on holiday and stressing on this and trying to get hold of MMT to ensure cancellation and provide us with 10-12, 000 for a last minute hotel reservation, we ended up arriving back in Delhi and going door to door for room to stay. Finally we got one, but had to pay Rs. 12, 000 for 2 rooms as they had only the executive rooms available. I have asked MMT to refund the money and they stopped responding. I would like them to pay us refund for the first and last night night of the Delhi hotel and compensate for putting us through hell for the first stay and causing a lot of stress during our vacation. I will be happy with a refund of Rs. 12, 000. We paid 1.76L for the vacation and this is a very little amount to pay back.
