I booked a flight from Bangalore to Delhi for 15th May'2022 through Makemytrip website, however due to some work I rescheduled the flight from 15th May'2022 to 16th May'2022 13:55 PM (Indigo Flight). For which I have paid extra Rs. 5045/- to Makemytrip to rescheduled. I have received the notification, the flight has been booked for 16th May'2022 11:45 AM instead of 13:55 without my consent. I called on customer care helpline number[protected] and spoke to helpline associate and he asked me to change the flight by paying extra and we will check from our side; if issue persist from our side then we will refund both the amount (which I have paid at first instance and will pay on second instance). I asked the person to transfer my call to supervisor and supervisor gave to 2 options, 1) I can board the flight of 16th May'2022 11:45 AM flight and he will raise the complaint regarding the issue and will get a resolution within 48hrs 2) Pay extra to change the flight. However, due to bad experience I did not want to take the risk by paying extra to Makemytrip. So I boarded the 11:45 AM flight and on 16th May'2022, I got a call from Makemytrip and the girl asked me all the details regarding the concern and asked me to wait for 24hr for the resolution. However its been 96 hrs and I haven't received any notification or update from Makemytrip on this issue. On 19th May'2022, I talked to the suervisor and he told me we can not provide the refunds and as per the logs the mistake is from my side. I have 3 questions here.
1) If the logs were available and as per the logs I did the mistake why the supervisor did not shared the information on the very first instance (15th May'2022). I suspect they have changed the logs
2) The girl from complaint team called me on 16th May'2022 and she also did not mentioned about the logs and told me as I boarded the flight so we can not provide the refund (which I have done based on the makemytrip supervisor advise)
3) On 19th May'2022, how come this supervisor able to access the logs. He confidentally told me that the mistake is from my side not from Makemytrip side which suspect me that have changed the logs. He also told me as per the Terms and condition we can not provide you the refund.
I am expecting the fair resolution on this complaint.
