We had ticket from Kolkata to Lucknow by Gofirst on 27th March (W81LPP). It got cancelled and was not notified before 12th March 9.45pm. The most horrible part is that alternative flight could only be made from the same airline, that too with lay over option taking more than 7hrs. We had 3 senior citizens with us and we booked return flight, hotels and all others. Make my trip representative said nothing could be done to book a direct flight from other airlines. Do your company really think an alternative of a lay-over flight from the same airline, who has already dumbed us, with senior citizens travelling is a option to grab for? Is this the facility your company advertising for? Refunding comes like a joke here when we are left with no choice.
Following lodging this complaint, we got call from MMT executive who provided a voucher code on 14th March. With the help of the executive, when we tried to redeem the voucher at YONO Cash app on 15th March, it actually deduced Rs 20, 000 from us. Similar has been tried today on 16th March with the help of the executive and another 20, 000 Rs has got deducted. So, in the name of redeeming Rs 10, 488 upon flight cancellation, we are presently running with a loss of Rs. 40, 000. The executive is still trying!!! Is not it INSANE??? Should we complain cyber crime branch?
