Despite repeated calls no response is available from the other end of MakeMyTrip customer care line. It’s doing nothing but persistently putting on hold. And as for e-mail all one gets is an automated reply. Given this situation MakeMyTrip is leaving customers in nothing but a limbo regarding genuine requirements/concerns, not expected of this organization.

Refund related to subject booking (Booking ID : AN75C4F08XSZOSQU1050) which was canceled on 24th April is yet to be reflected in either e-wallet or credit card. Please expedite and confirm credit at the earliest. I am not looking for an automated response, but a genuine reply addressing the matter

    I'm have book 1 train ticket PNR [protected] and MakeMyTrip transaction number is NR[protected] NDLS to AUBR journey date 20/04/2022 from MakeMyTrip mobile application but due to my plan change I'm cancelled the train ticket on 17/04/2022. IRCTC already refunded ticket amount rupees 1050 on 18/04/2022 to Make My Trip India Private Limited wide bank reference number [protected]. But MakeMyTrip not refund my amount

      Dear team,

      I'm reaching out to you as I have not received the refund for a cancelled flight despite multiple requests.
      Your customer service assured me while cancelling the ticket that the money will be sent to the card that was used for the purchase.

      However, the money has been sent to an online wallet. I cannot access this wallet as I live in Europe and your website is not allowed to operate in Europe due to non-compliance with European GDPR rules.

      Please transfer the amount from the wallet to the credit card that was used during the purchase. It is an Indian card so you should not have any issues.
      I have called the customer care multiple times but your staff has been very unhelpful and unprofessional.
      The Hyderabad customer center told me to "call back after 12 PM" even though your customer care is advertised as 24/7.

          I have booked a ticket with paying extra cancellation charge on MakeMyTrip. Then due some personal i have cancelled my ticket and choose the option to get my money directly in my bank. After 3 days they have ticked option saying that they have processed my refund to phonepe . But It didn't reflect on my account.please help me to get my refund back

            I never seen this kind of worst customer service in my life. Looting money from the customer. Showing the fake images of low class hotels with high amount and cheating the customer's. Very worst service.

            With out stay in hotel, my parents facing so many issues on that day, so many calls to customer service. Finally no solution.

            Very worst customer services, never recommend to any of my known persons.

              1. 2nd day of our stay at Pine Palace Resort, Gulmarg is not a 3 Start Hotel whereas it has been claimed by MMT as 3 start
              2. 3rd day of our stay at Riviera by Mount view Pahalgam is not a 3 Start Hotel whereas it has been claimed by MMT as 3 start -No basic amenities in the room like wardrobe and so on are not available
              3.Field personal Mr. George did not try to resolve our request and he was all the time non committal
              4.This has happened even after paying the entire money in advance

                I made one booking by using make my trip platform and paid through UPI, my money has been deducted but booking has not been successful. than i paid though different payment mode and launch complaint for refund. after sending several reminder they responded that we don't have your account detail please provide. i shared my bank detail two months back and continuously writing them they closed my ticket and now nobody is responding to my email. i have search entire website and application there is no option to launch the complaint or if we tried though mobile there is no response at all. very bed experience.

                    Through Makemytrip, I have reserved rooms for three people (myself, my wife, and my 12-year-old daughter) in OYO 42688 Adora Hotel Fathima Palace for a one-night stay (check in 29th April 2022 and check out 30th April 2022). The reservation was made on April 29th. Makemytrip assigned two rooms (Classic with twin Beds) and collected Rs. 946 using netbanking. Through Whatsapp, Makemytrip shared the hotel's phone number, [protected].

                    I booked the accommodation with the intention of resting in between drives while driving from Kasaragod to Trivandrum with my family.

                    Since I left Kasaragod at 4 p.m., I expected to arrive at the hotel around 10.30 p.m., so I attempted to contact the hotel using the provided phone number. The phone was only picked once and not thoroughly answered. After then, I tried calling the same number several times without getting a response.

                    On the 29th of April 2022, I arrived at the hotel around 11.30 p.m. The receptionist demanded the Booking ID. When I presented the reception ID, he checked in his tab and informed me that they had not received the booking and that he would not be able to designate a room to that booking.
                    He further stated that makemytrip is currently defrauding clients, and that they are not affiliated with makemytrip and are solely affiliated with OYO. And he was adamant about not making room for that booking.

                    Since, I was with my wife and daughter, and I didn't have any other choice at that late hour. So, I asked the receptionist if there was any other choice and told him, "We are there to relax till 5 a.m." He explained that the entire hotel was booked by a wedding party, and one room was reserved for their photographers, who would only be in the room in the morning, and that if you could evacuate by 8 p.m., I could accommodate you for Rs. 1500/-. But when I refused to give him Rs. 1500, he demanded Rs. 1300. Finally, I told that I could offer you Rs. 1000/- and that if everything was fine, I could stay there.

                    He agreed and requested my identification card. I handed over my ID(aadhaar) card, and he xeroxed it and asked me to write the names of the other two guests on it. On that xerox, I scribbled the names and signed it.

                    I attempted to contact MakeMyTrip's customer service department. However, speaking with a customer service representative is not an option.

                    Meanwhile, I told the receptionist to inform the matter to Makemytrip that I hadn't received the booking, so that I could get a refund, and he agreed.

                    Makemytrip is now sending email and whatsapp messages to provide feedback on the hotel stay.
                    Who is attempting to defraud us? Makemytrip or the front desk of the hotel?
                    Because the hotel staff declined to designate a room for the internet booking, I would need a refund.

                    Is Makemytrip making a joke of their customers? I've been using Makemytrip for a long time and this is the first time I've had an issue like this.

                    I didn't inquire the reception boy's name because I was too fatigued. Everything is captured on the CC camera (11.30 – 11.50 pm).

                    Please handle the problem on Makemytrip's end, and acknowledge the same, and refund the booking amount.

                      Asking Mr Abneesh to give me a call back but he hardly cares requested my seller to ask him to resolve my issue but MMT …he is aware its h is fault and he don’t have answers.
                      In further part of my mail if I type MMT as mmt please don’t mind they don’t deserve to be respected

                      SELLER -Vaishali Hemani [protected] I am thankful to her as at least she was picking up my calls but she could resolve a issue, except her no one ever picked my calls

                      I explain my journey from day 1

                      We were 10 members-in which my mother is quiet old and she cant lift her legs too high and her weight is also on the higher side, 2 kids, 1 infant

                      I requested few things before finalizing the booking that I am a bit choosy in food and I only ear potato so they confirmed me though WhatsApp that it has already been discussed and would be taken care of.

                      Sorry forgot to mention I had issue in check-in too I tried to check in but MMT did a bulk booking so It couldn’t be done online some error was there and I even tried on machines but it was showing contact customer care, I called customer care to help me out I w as asked for my full name mob no and registered email id-i shared and it didn’t match (id mob and email id belonged to some mmt employ they didn’t even had idea who) so I took my seller on conference call but even she was not able to convince them she again forwarded mail for the same but no response from MMT. We went to airport had and argument and they said MMT would have helped us and Its bulk booking so they can’t make any changes. My family was scattered in the complete flight

                      But its ok as we were promised that this won’t happen in returning flights MMT ticketing team will take care of that but again they failed to fulfill my promise in return tickets too.
                      They started to blame me in returning lol (i will share the complete chat if required) Promise was made by a guy named Rohit Kumar [protected] for the check-in price that they will return it but the thing is it’s not about the money

                      All the issues I have mention above and below would have been avoided but just because worthless higher authorities sitting in AC cabin didn’t bothered to help me out

                      Make My Trip (MMT) to be true it seemed like a horrible dream.
                      As there was no direct flight from Lucknow to port blare so me and my family requested them to book they booked a flight from Lucknow to Delhi – Delhi to Kolkata and Kolkata to port blare
                      Flight details -

                      Layover in CCU, Kolkata 30 m
                      Flight from New Delhi to Port Blair 4 h 45 m
                      Flight from New Delhi to Kolkata 2 h 5 m
                      Flight from Kolkata to Port Blair 2 h 10 m
                      Temperature was around 40 Degree as per the airlines then struggle started

                      Problem no 1
                      We were promised that when we reach there as luggage is there so we would get 2 muv or suv we were shocked that they sent a traveler standing in the in which even ac was not functional I called Vaishali Hemani shared pics of the traveler (attached in mail as well as I will share screenshot of the chat )and explained everything according to her she forwarded the m ail to seniors and I was promised it wont happen again. We somehow lifted my mom as traveler was quiet high for her and made her sit thinking that problem would be resolved

                      Reached hotel we got fresh up and we had some snacks got ready to go out but local MMT vendor couldn’t arrange cars so we need to use the non ac traveler again we managed.
                      MMT vendor asked us to contact MMT but there was no response Vaishali Hemant kept waiting for response but there internal process was too slow we even missed laser show in that no coordination between vendor and MMT

                      Ross Island Entry with Hotel Transfers

                      As soon as we reached we were informed that we need to pay entry ticket as it has not been pain by mmt more over there was no one from mmt to help us out . So again I called my seller she forwarded the mail and ask me to wait after waiting and my seller got no response from mmt I texted her that its fine I am paying it as I didn’t wanted to waste my whole day.(I can share WhatsApp screenshots)

                      So the question – is this how MMT plans a trip?
                      They promise to provide car they failed on the first day they promised again for car and failed twice, later on they forgot to pay the entry ticket?

                      If any higher authorities reading this if I was at your place, I would really be ashamed of it


                      One more issue
                      We got an call that cars will be there at hotel sharp 9:30 and they gona remain with us like its usual in every trip drop us back to hotel in the evening, we said its ok will be ready .
                      when I went out to check the cars at 9:50 they were already gone and It took them 30+ mins to pick us .
                      I again called my seller asked what’s the issue she said give me 10 mins she figure it out I took her on conference call and we both were informed that car won’t be available for whole day .we need to carry our luggage as car is going to drop and leave even my seller was not aware of that she also felt its going to be there for us.

                      We reached Havllock it was nice hotel silver sand and resort food everything was fine from there according to our itinerary we had to go to Neil island where she shell was booked. That hotel is pathetic and they served rotten potato I asked them to change and I w as offered 2 options I can cancel the order or they fry them a bit more ? does frying potato more turn rotten to normal I don’t know cooking maybe it works. So I didn’t had anything in dinner as well as breakfast as they didn’t had potato . My seller took written confirmation from every hotel that they going to provide me potato.

                      After that we need to take ferry speed boat to go other island so we were already 10 members and only 10 members can sit in a ferry but one was infant so I was informed that 9 people can not go so I told them I don’t mind they can fir anyone on my boat I am ok with it.

                      But MMT and boat association denied that we don’t have one person? So is it my fault ? they divided my family into 2 parts kids and my mother on one and remaing on other. My mother slipped from boat and hurted herself we kept on requesting that please let her on our boat as so called RULE OF 10 PEOPLE IN A BOAT was being followed they denied but later on they send only 6 people on my boat now where is that rule? U can send 6 people on one boat having capacity of 10 but u cant send 9 people together funny . my mother could even walk properly after that but who cares she is my mom not yours.

                      Chidiya Tapu, Museum and laser show was missed because of the person who made the itinerary
                      Our Macruze reached back to Port Blare at 4:50pm and it takes around 15 m ins to come out and Museum Closes at 5pm, chidiya tapu we need to visit in the morning
                      So are MMT employs so dumb ? its not a car or bike which gets late when Macruze ship reach at 4:50 pm how can we visit chidiya tapu in the morning?

                      Summary
                      1-MMT never care fore there customers once they get the full payment
                      2-If they offer Muv or Suv never trust them they can send u even cycle
                      3-MMT is full of fake promises- they will tell u that they will resolve ths issue in 5 mins but later on just sorry
                      4-Safety my mother would have broken her legs or something more serious could have happened but who cares
                      5-Please make your itinerary otherwise its definite customer is going to miss the places he thought of vising like in my case there were 3 places

                        Hi Team,

                        Kindly note my International Air booking with ID NN7TAYHQ585OYHR13545.

                        As per our last telephonic conversation you guys had assured me to resolve my issue and confirm my flight seat number ASAP but since I didn't get any feedback from you inspite of my repeated requests to confirm I would like to go l ahead with the refund process for the same.
                        It's an utterly disappointing experience I had with a reputed company like yours which is totally unacceptable and caused me an immense amount of stress and harrasment owing to the uncertainty at the last moment of my travel inspite of my prior intimation to you about my medical condition which demands a comfortable seat with adequate leg space for a long travel time.
                        The unprofessional customer support feedback is even more frustrating so I decided to claim my money back immediately although this was not my priority. Unfortunately since you guys couldn't resolve my issue from your end I decided to take the matter into my hands and rebook the seat again with the extra amount of money since my travel dates are close and required seats are getting filled up soon.
                        Now I request you to refund my add on amount(approx 19K) for my seat preference ASAP.
                        Please note, I don't want my tickets to be cancelled, I am only demanding my extra add on spent on seat preference.
                        Hoping to get a prompt response and action this time.

                          Make my trip didn’t provided us the hotel mentioned in the iteanary. When we reached at our booked hotel at pehalgam on April 13 at Fresh water resort, the hotel staff said you don’t have booking with us. We faced harassment and humiliation there and our 1 day of tour was disturbed due to this. Also we promised Innova car and they provided us Tavera car on April 17 and the driver dropped us at main gate of Airport at Srinagar instead of actual dropping point and ran away.

                              Booked 2 Rooms for 2 Days (April 14 to April 16, 2022) at Vinoth's Homestay at Masinagudi (Booking ID NH[protected]). The owner denied to confirm as no rooms available on April 15, 2022.

                              MMT Support personnel told that if any accommodation at any place be booked on those 2 days for a higher amount, the additional would be reimbursed as much as possible subject to production of the invoice.

                              As no hotel was available at Masinagudi, and as we were touring COORG in Karnataka, we could book a holiday home at Vythiri Kerala for those two days via Agoda.com. Initially we submitted the confirmation slip issued by Agoda online. Then we submitted the invoice. But no payment was made. They closed the issue without communicating the resolution or the reason for non payment.

                              The last complaint was made on April 19, 2022. After a long delay they closed the issue on April 28, again without disclosing the resolution or the reasons thereof.

                              We paid Rs 6000 extra for Accommodation, which needs to be reimbursed. We require that reimbursement.

                                I have booked bus from Jagdalpur (C.G.) TO Raipur (C.G.) on 17th april 2022
                                and cancelled in on 17th april 2022
                                and i am supposed to get a refund of Rs 514. and i allowed refund into my makemytrip wallet . but now my makemytrip wallet shows zero balance
                                when i login into make my trip website it says "₹ 514 has been processed in MakeMyTrip Wallet o[censored]ser [protected]@gmail.com.
                                Wallet money reflects instantly. Any promotional discount is subject to conditions."
                                but i didnt got any refund as my wallet shows zero balance and now i am unable to get my refunded amount
                                also now after logging in into make my trip account, in cancelled booking section i shows "something went wrong"
                                so now i cant even fetch details

                                As i am supposed to get 514/-
                                Then I got a mail from make my trip saying "Your complaint has been forwarded to MakeMyTrip India Pvt. Ltd. customer service. You should receive a reply from the company representatives within several days.

                                So I mailed them my contact number
                                Then next day I got a call from company regarding refund issue
                                I talked to an agent and he said you will get your refund very soon and he guided me step by step to get my refund,
                                At first he asked if I am an sbi account holder ? I said yes
                                Then he said that go to yono cash then go to atm and then enter amount of 20000 and enter transaction number I will get from sbi
                                Then 20000 got transferred to their account
                                Then I asked him how and why my money got debited from my account
                                He said you will get entire amount with refund shortly
                                And from then onwards I tried calling them but nobody answers that number
                                It says switched off all the time
                                I am cheated by make my trip again.
                                All this happened on 1st may 2022
                                From then on wards in am in tremendous stress
                                I didn't got my refund and lost 20000
                                Please I need my 20000 back

                                  It is complete fraud. Proper seat was not given as display on the website as the bus was displayed as a AC bus on the but th ac was not not running and and the bus didn't leave on time . Even the management was not helpful for resolving our issues. And also the driver and other person from bus team were drunk. And we're using abusing words.
                                  Please look into this and a don't list this kind of bus service to fool the people i need a imigiate action on this... otherwise In will go to o consumer court and indian transport services for get a resolution and ban this kind of fraud services.

                                    I had booked heritage group of houseboat srinagar Kashmir 30.4.22 to 2.5.22 on make my trip, but today which is the 30th april 2022 I was denied entry into the hotel saying they have not received any such details from mmt, due to pre paid and post paid phone no. Problem in Kashmir I was not even able to contact any mmt personnel, due to their customer care being just attached to it phone details which don't work- make my trip also dosent have any email customer care where I can leave in my grievance, I still have no clue if I will get any refund for the non sense this site has created, and no way of contacting them
                                    I would suggest not to book for such shady site with no proper customer care association

                                      I booked a flight ticket on 25th March 2021 with booking id NF[protected] which they cancelled. I have been in contact with their customer service and they assured me that they will process the refund which they have not done till today. They keep on extending the date saying give us 2 days and the refund has not yet been processed till today. They even asked me for my bank details which i have given. But as they have no intention to give me refund i fear they will use my bank details for malicious activities. To this day i am still owed ₹12889 in refund. I urge you to please take necessary actions
