Indigo Airlines had cancelled the flight on 23rd of January, 2022 from Kolkata to Delhi for my PNR PJ5TWV.

Indigo airlines have initiated full refund of Rs. 8148. They have forwarded a mail also regarding the same.

But MMT has initiated refund of Rs. 5858 only. Makemytrip has absolutely no human available and only IVR options are available which are not resolving the issue. This is a big harassment as flight cancelled due to fault of Airlines and full refund has also been forwarded by the Airlines but makemytrip is eating the refund and not forwarding the full amount.

    Problem statement: I have three booking ID of makemy trip and unable to use credit shell, as existing booking of year 2020 are not reflecting in " MY TRIP " section of my username with make my trip. Also company do not have any grievance addressal system or any email contact for communication.

      Hi,

      I had made a booking with makemyTrip on 14th February 2021 in flexible plan (booking ID: NF[protected]
      ). I made a date change to 20th of Nov. But later airline canceled the flight, so I made a refund request to MakeMyTrip on 20th of Nov.

      after that I followed up with MakeMytrip many times, even i shared my experience of Facebook but they were not able to provide me any resolution. They kept on giving me RRN number and asking me to follow up with my bank. I checked with my bank and shared their written response for not getting any refund amount to Makemytrip. I also shared all my bank statment for last 11 months but even after all these, Makemytrip is shamelessly not refunding my amount. When I asked for bank acknowledgment from MakemyTrip for refund then there was no response.

      so I request you to please help me with my refund.

        Booking ID - NL[protected]

        I have booked Andaman package from 12-17th January with my wife and kids. However, with the recent announcement of closing all the tourist spots, beaches and activities with immediate effect #MakeMyTrip agents are forcing us to travel in flights with kids and stay in hotels even in this dire situation or else to bear all the losses. I do not see any fault with me in this case and why I need to bear all the losses here.

        All the ads my MakeMyTrip to do hassle free last minute cancellations seems farce here. Please urgently look into this matter as this is simply unacceptable behaviour by MMT India team.

        If the government of Andaman announces to closeof all tourist spots due to rise in covid cases, how am I supposed to travel with my kids. Lots of money around 1.08 lakhs are at stake here.

          I booked a room for my staff Anil Kumar on 25.12.2021 for 3 nights at OYO 61919 Piyush Residency Hotel address MIG-11, Kalinga Vihar, Patrapada, Bhubaneswar. My booking Id was NH[protected] and PNR [protected]. Booking date was Dec 25 11:21AM and check in date was Dec 25. When my staff went to this hotel for check-in, there was no room available. All rooms were fully booked and the hotel did not give him room. Full amount was paid in advance for the room. Makemytrip is refusing to give refund. We sent them email but no reply. After lot of difficulty we contacted their customer care but they are saying sorry but cannot give refund. Please refund my paid amount.

                Hi,

                My bus was canceled without any prior intimation given, in fact i was called at 6:45pm on 24th december and told to board the bus at 6:10 pm ( by call center agent of intrcity), my actual booking was different, my pick up was at 7:45 pm from paradise, but that bus got canceled previous night itself ( without any intimation) and intimation was given at 6:45 pm to board at 6:10 pm on the day of travel! which is not .I have always used intrcity for my travels.intrcity offered a full refund which i accepted, it has been 5 days now and no refund has been received. when contacting the Incharge number that was given to me, he tells me to ask the intrcity customer care, when contacted intrcrity, they tell me to contact makemytrip as i made my booking there, but MMT shows my trip as completed .Please check my account details and booking details for 24th december HYD - PUNE ( 7:45 pm pick up) and initiate a full refund at the earliest. Thank You.

                  I had booked a flight ticket from Nairobi to bangalore for date 18th January 2022. Booking was done on 21st December 2021 and the ticket was canceled on 2nd January 2022. Refund to be processed by 7 days and hasn't been done till now. Also, there is not customer care number that I can call. And no email ID as well.

                    Money got debited but flight not confirmed

                    I tried a book a flight on Makemytrip 3 days ago i.e; 6th January 2022 from Bengaluru to Jammu, but my amount got debited and I did not receive any booking details nor showing in the pending requests. I tried reaching out on customer care number, but it is a pathetic service as call doesn't get connected to anybody even after hours of wait.I waited 3 days as per refund policy but still didn’t got any response.br...

                    Dear Sir,

                    I, Rahul Ginodia, a registered user on MakeMyTrip App since many years, am your regular customer and have made of quite a lot of bookings for air tickets, hotel stays and airport cabs using your app. I am registered with the email address [protected]@yahoo.com and mobile number (+91) [protected].

                    On 12th December, 2021, I had booked a cab from Bengaluru International Airport to my home for pick up on 14th December, 2021 @ 10:15 P.M. bearing Booking ID NC[protected] as I was returning from Lucknow via Air Flight AI-566 which was scheduled to depart from Lucknow @ 07:15 P.M. and arrive in Bengaluru @ 09:45 P.M., which round trip flight booking was also made through your app by making payment of the full booking amount of R1, 009/- through my credit card. Upon landing in Bengaluru, I received a text message on my mobile from your system informing me about the cab & driver details. As soon as I collected my baggage, I tried reaching the driver of the cab assigned for my trip (Ashok G [protected]) many times but there was no response from him. Please note that this flight was booked to reach home in time well before midnight for my wedding anniversary which falls on 15th December and it was very discomforting to get stranded at the airport.

                    To raise a complaint about the same, I reached out to your customer care number and I was informed by your customer care executive that the said driver tried reaching my mobile around 08:36 P.M. which is just a lame excuse as your company and also the driver was very well aware that I would be in flight at that time with no access to network on my phone. This goes on to show the malafide practice and ill motives of your company to dupe its regular customers of the money paid by them and cause undue, unwarranted, and uncalled for harassment and mental agony to them by providing such deficient services. Till date I have not been provided with any resolution for this issue or for that matter at least the refund of money paid by me for the said cab booking.

                    It is pertinent to mention here that a similar issue had happened with me for the same services I had booked earlier (airport to city cab service) for travel on 5th September, 2021 from Bengaluru International Airport to my home, but no cab was provided to me and your customer care executive merely apologized for it and I was provided the difference of fare paid by me as compensation.

                    It is quite obvious from the turn of events that your company has clearly cheated me of the amount paid by me and have additionally caused much undue harassment, mental agony and gross discomfort by being acutely deficient in providing the services contracted for.

                    In the facts and circumstances aforesaid, I am issuing this demand notice upon you to refund the amount of R1009/- paid by me within 15 days from the date of receipt of this notice by you, together with interest @ 24% per annum from the date of booking, i.e. 12th December, 2021 till the date of payment and also a compensation of R5, 00, 000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) towards deficiency in services and causing harassment and mental agony to me, failing which I will be left with no other option other than to initiate appropriate legal actions against you, both civil and criminal, costs and consequences thereof only you will be held liable and responsible, which please note.

                    Kindly treat this notice under the provisions of the Interest Act, 1978 as well.

                        I have booked flight tickets on 8TH jan from Kolkata to Bengaluru in Air India. PNR was JP18Y. We were 3 adults and 1 infant. Among us on 7th JAN, in rt-pcr test 2 adults (me and my wife) and my baby were found covid positive, and mother was negative. Therefore I have raised COVID refund request for me. my wife and my baby, And for my mother I have cancelled the ticket.

                        MakeMytrip after 3 days informs me that the claim cannot be processed, with 2 different contradictory reason
                        1) First they told, airline cancelled the request because the claim was closed.
                        2) The rt pcr report was invalid.

                        I have email MMT why the rt-pcr was invalid? There was no answer from their end.
                        I have called air india, they told MMT has cancelled our tickets!

                          I have booked a cab from Villupuram Railway station to Tiruvannamalai on 4th January 2022. My booking ID is Booking Id: NC[protected]. I paid an amount of 601 in advance. However, the driver did not turn up on that day. Though I have received the contact number of the Driver, he did not pick up the call after repeated attempts. I have informed Make my trip personnel then and there and requested the refund.

                          Please refund my advance as I have not traveled in the cab.

                              I submitted review for some of my bookings. For review on one of the Hotel I by mistake uploaded a wrong photo. I want to delete that photo but I am not able to do so. Also Customer care is not of any help on this issue.

                                I have contacted MMT customer care on 30th Dec, 2021 and requested them to cancel my booking (PNR: D6J5PS28) and refund the amount.

                                They have taken my request and said that it will be canceled from their end and amount will be refunded.

                                It's been more than two weeks and there's no intimation or communication so far. The worst part is there is no way to reach them and express my concern as they don't have any email ID or IVR process to talk to customer care executive.

                                  We had booked Falak Huts, Gulmarg for 2 nights through Make my trip. We had already paid the entire amount of Rs. 7220 for 2 nights on 4th October 2021.
                                  When we reached the property for check-in on 9th October 2021, we were denied check in, the hotel staff told us that the make my trip had not forwarded them the booking details and they could not allow us to check in. We contacted the make my trip customer care immediately to intervene to allow us to check in, but they told us to book any other property nearby for which they will refund us Rs. 10000/- since they were unable to provide us any other property for stay, the customer care also told us not to cancel the booking in the APP.
                                  We looked for all the hotels nearby and found another property for Rs. 11000/- after spending 3 hours visiting all the properties there. Our vacation was already ruined as we were tired searching the hotels in a new place.
                                  After sharing the invoice with the make my trip customer service for Rs. 11000/- (the hotel where we end up staying) and multiple emails to the customer support we could not get the refund from make my trip. They did not even bother us to refund the original amount of 7220. Even after multiple emails to the customer support they kept on raising and closing the tickets without refunding even a single penny.

                                  We request you to help us getting the refund from make my trip for Rs. 10000/- and another 10000 for the mental agony suffered.

                                    This refers to my booking of Eco Log Hut Resort Hotel at Aritar on 31st December-1st January. I talked to the owner on 30th December. But I could not reach there on my own vehicle because the road has been under construction. The owner told nothing about it. I returned to Dello (Kalingpong) and booked another hotel, I checked in about 3 pm on 31st December. I could not find the way to cancel my previous booking. There was no network on both of my SIM cards. Even no wi-fi in hotel. Horrible! Moreover, Golden Kuensel Resort and Spa Hotel was an overpriced hotel. How can I stay in two hotels at the same time? Your cancellation policy is murky. What kind of business do you do? I haven't had such a bitter experience with makemytrip.com ever. I paid the second booking amount in full. The first booking amount was paid by LazyPay. They are constantly irritating me to repay the amount.

                                    You would say your customer is responsible for all these. Wouldn't you?
                                    At least, I expect a satisfactory reply from your end.

                                      My family trip was from Chandigarh – Kufri – Delhi – Agra. We were 9 members (2 senior citizens and 3 kids). We reached Chandigarh on 25th evening and returned back to Mumbai on 31st Dec 21. First time I got a doubt about the driver was on the 3rd day of the trip at Kufri. In the itinerary there was Kufri and Shimla sightseeing. Driver first took us to Kufri spot which was accessible only via horse ride. So once we reached there we came to know, as a driver and guide we expected MMT driver to have guided us about the spot but unfortunately his plan was that we put as many hrs there which was only 4 kms from the hotel, so that he doesn’t have to take us to Shimla, thus saving fuel for him. We had to leave our parents in his tempo as they coudnt take the horse ride. After some hrs he told them he will drop them to the hotel but not in his tempo but in a cab and took Rs 1200 from them. He had parked his tempo in such a way that it took 1 hr to take it out thereby wasting more time and we were in no position to travel to Shimla. So Shimla sightseeing not done. Then in the highways he started to drive slow when asked he started to tell us the rules and same fellow on the last day crossed a red signal and almost got hit by another car. The tempo was noisy. At one spot police stopped us to check his papers and see who all were wearing masks. Some o[censored]s were wearing but he suddenly started shouting at us when in front of police why we were not wearing masks. He never told us before that to wear masks. Then he came to me to give Rs 2000 to the police, I asked why 2000 and said I will talk to the police. When I spoke to Police they said they will leave us with a warning, so money asked from us by the driver was for himself. He was irritatingly driving slow. Then when we reached delhi hotel it was not good so we asked him to take us to another hotel but he said someone has parked their car in front of his tempo so he cant come. At Connaught place he said he wont drop us but will take us to some parking place and then we need to walk back, after much argument he dropped us where he started to frighten us by saying he will complain that we made him stop at Connaught place. By now everyone were scared to drive with him, I even called MMT helpline but that was not helpful. One night we asked him to drop at a spot en route to hotel for dinner. We returned at 9:15 pm and he started to again scare us by saying that there is lockdown and police will catch so he will take only 5 persons. After argument he agreed to take all o[censored]s. We wanted a peaceful trip but due to MMT driver our trip was nightmare.
