[Resolved]  MakeMyTrip.com — Pathetic service

Dear Makemytrip,

There is no other way to express my displeasure at the service (pathetic without any credibility) which I have recieved. Inspite of my repeated follow-ups, I have not got a proper update on exactly when I will get my refund for a flight that was cancelled by Spicejet, the esteem flight operator with best refund policy in the world, so much that they don't like giving my money back. It would have been better, if I would have given my money in charity.

Since I did my booking on your website and you conveniently charged me Rs.200 as 'convenience fee'. You are solely responsible as a service provider to ensure that your customer doesn't have any problem and gets the refund without following up 8-10 times and getting baseless reassurances minus commitment. Atleast say true to the statement of refund within 7days on your website only.

The cancellation was done on 28.01.2015 and we are standing on 24.02.2015. Please do the maths of counting the number of days. With a continuous digital expansion happening in India, where other online portals are refunding the money within 24 hours, I would be sweet if I term your service as slow, lazy and pathetic.

I don't know how but I need to know by tomorrow that I'm getting my money back within 3 days, which is more than the usual time.

Needless to say I am very very very very very very disappointed with the way you guys have handled the current situation and your tagline of 'MEMORIES UNLIMITED' stands so true right now. I will be carrying very bad memories of 'Makemytrip' henceforth and will be passing on the word to my fellows.

As a service provider it is your responsibility to share accurate information with me. I'm not okay with hearing the same thing over and over again of 4 days, 4 more days sir, final 4 days from your customer support executives, whenever I call them to check about my refund stattus. And 28 days is not enough time for you guys to cross-check and verify? Like seriously. This is not acceptable at all. We are not living in 14th century, where we need to send telegrams to an alien place/country. Who in the world takes 28 days to verify. I don't think you guys are taking this issue seriously.

And why this issue is not being escalated at a greater/serious level, so that customers like me don't have to follow-up with you for our money that's struck now?

Please ensure when/if you reply. The response should encapsulate - WHEN AM I GETTING THE MONEY WITH EXACT DATE AND TIME AND IT SHOULD BE WITHIN THIS WEEK.

Attached are the details of the ticket and refund status (unvaried since cancellation).
