[Resolved] MakeMyTrip India — allotment of legally unfit vehicle for our trip | |||
With great regret we are compelled to write this mail that inspite of informing you multiple times since the beginning of our trip regarding the dismal condition of the vehicle (tempo traveler) which was provided to us, on which we were to travel extensively close to around 42 hrs in the scorching heat with our family members involving tiny kids, there was no sincere efforts made from your end to rectify the same inspite of sending you pictures and video clips in whats app. Instead for your convenience you had preferred to rely on the lies of the vendor providing the vehicle. Its horribly disappointing that you being the head of operations your rationale dictated that a vendor would be honest enough to accept their short comings . So rather than changing the vehicle which we rightfully deserved u didn’t hesitate to ask for more money (Rs 9000) in order to change the vehicle. We consider ourselves a trifle lucky inspite of our added inconvenience that our vehicle was intercepted on our approach to the Delhi airport by the traffic police personnel and we were categorically told the vehicle would be impounded on grounds of expiry of fitness certificate and we would have to hire a different vehicle to reach the airport. It was only because we were a group of doctors travelling along with kids that they were kind enough to let us go after persuading them for around 30 mins in scorching heat, after paying a fine of Rs 2000/- from our pocket. I am sending you the documents of the vehicle. So we had to suffer miserably throughout our tour inspite of making the full payment much before the start of our trip. We are not certain whether this is the plight that customers of make my trip face and we have also realized the price that we had to pay for laying our faith in your company. Now the onus is on you on behalf of make my trip to adequately compensate us within 3 days failing which we would approach the PMO to ensure that our woes are taken care of.
