[Resolved]  MakeMyTrip India — cashback of rs 1200/- not received after availing the citibank coupon code "flynow"

I had imade a flight booking id nf[protected] on 5.09.2017 at 20:33:56 ist 2017 for an amount of rs. 6484 using the citi bank offer coupon code flynow which was supposed to give cashback of rs 1200 on minimum booking amount of rs 5000/-. The travel was made on 20.12.2017.
Till date i have not received the casback. When i inquired with citi bank they asked for the order id and later informed that the coupon code was not applied by me at the booking site. Then i raised a complaint with makemytrip ref id[protected], and they too gave me the reason that i has not applied the coupon code. Now, makemytrip or citibank did not provide any acknowledgement for coupon code except for the small flash on the screen in green colour which shows that the coupon code is applied and then the customer must proceed for payment.

Now that mmt has straightaway attributed the fault to me i donot have any proof to claim what i had applied for with clear conscience. I am sure other customers also search for the best offers available and then make their bookings. I followed the same principle but now that i am cheated, i advise all too go for the sites that have the least convenience fee instead of the such cashback offers as its all nothing but a scam to trap customers to spend their hard earned money.
