[Resolved] MakeMyTrip India — did not get the refund | |||||
Hello, Yesterday on 29-may-2018 evening i made a booking from hyderabad to goa via mumbai for air inida business class ticket which costed me 23825 inr. The booking was done by mistake and i immediately called the customer care service and i cancelled the ticket. But the refund amount i got was only 17100. So the remaining amount 6725 i should get the refund. When i called the makemytrip customercare they told me to call the air india people and if they are willing to give the refund for the penalty which costed me in total 5000 inr excluding the makemytrip charges, then makemytrip would surely give me the refund that. Air india people told me that certain tickets will be given to makemytrip people for selling and as i booked the tickets from makemytrip they asked me to contact makemytrip only for refund. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused and delay in response. Further, in reference to your complaint, we have validated your case and found that, the booking was cancelled with applicable airline charges of Inr 2800/- per segment + 300 MakeMyTrip service fee per segment. Please be advised that the airline charges as being paid to airline against cancellation of booking. So, in order to get the refund of airline charges, only airline can provide the waiver on the same since it’s been paid to them. We do not have control over the same. So, we humbly request you to please get the waiver from airline so that we can proceed further and refund the amount.We thank you for writing to us. It is unfortunate to note that your recent experience with us has not been up to your satisfaction. Your experience has assisted us in exploring possibilities for further improvement in our service levels, for which we are thankful to you. Worst service. Cheating tbe customers. In makemytrip website they did not mentioned like that and on e tickwt they mentioned another charges.I have got experience that not to trust you. Eating all the coatumers money.
