[Resolved] MakeMyTrip India — Didn't receive my ticket refund | |
I booked 2 train tickets for Jaipur to Lucknow through MakeMyTrip. I had to cancel one of the ticket on 16th Oct. MakeMyTrip told me that I would get my refund by 2nd Nov. Today, it is 12th Nov and I still haven't received my refund. I contacted them and filed a complaint. I even provided them with my bank statement and co-operated with them. After a few days they called me back and told me that from their side they had already processed the refund and that I should check with my Bank (Punjab National Bank). They provided me with a booking reference number to check with the bank. I contacted my bank but they told me that my refund hasn't been credited in my account. The MakeMyTrip app refund tracker is clearly showing wrong information that the refund has been credited in my account which is a lie. Now, when I am again contacting MakeMyTrip they aren't responding to my mails. They didn't provide me with any proof that from their side they processed the refund. They are violating my rights to information and if the issue is not resolved then the last resort would be to approach the consumer forum for the grievances and further damages caused due to delay in refund amount. Nov 22, 2021 Complaint marked as Resolved They called me and assured that from their side the refund has been processed. I received my refund after more than a month but I'm happy I received it. MakeMyTrip India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |
