MakeMyTrip India — misleading information about flight operator and no information about visa rules | |
When i booked the ticket there was not anywhere mentioned that i need to arrange for schengen visa because of double transit. Neither on the ticket nor in the visa conditions details were mentioned, and to evidence this i have attached the screenshots of the app which i have sent it to mmt no where it's has not referenced that visa is mandatory. Also, there was not even anywhere mentioned that this was multiple carrier flight, as i bought this flight because i thought it fully lufthansa. I am highly disappointed with the service that makemytrip has provided as no one was really bothered how stressful and everything was indeed predicament, specially when i was no where at fault. I have called makemytrip numerous times but no one really resolved the issue. Then i had to on the spot book a flight, with the only one option that was available for the day; which was not cheaper at all! What i don't really understand is why nothing has been mentioned on ticket and how can makemytrip expect the traveller to know that because of specific scenario visa is required and when i booked the flight it never mentioned that it was multi carrier flight operated by 2 other operators.! I find the whole scenario as quite misleading and they have failed to provide the full information about the ticket. Had it been, i would have never booked this flight. I have been sending numerous emails to mmt and have called them, but no one had the courtesy to follow up. They have denied for the refund and gave the reason that mmt is no where is fault.
