MakeMyTrip India — Reschedulement of flight and cancellation charges

Sir I had book a flight from New delhi to Mumbai dated 11/05/2016 for Air India which was stated to leave at 7 am and reach at 9 am as i was expected to attend a very important meeting at 10 am.
But somehow i recieve a message saying that the flight had been resheduled from 7 am to 9 am which would make it impposible for me to reach at 10.

Now In the normal case of event when cancellation is done the cancellation charges are justified but in this case i had no choice but to make an alternate arrangement through other channel which had been more costilier as d day was near.

Now as the flight was rescheduled it left me in loop as the steeper cost of other booking and cancellation charges has been big burden for me. Is this the cost i am paying for planning my travel in advance which had to be more cheaper but it has only became dearer.
