We bought 2 baby gold bangles from malabar gold and diamonds - dubai karama outlet, last year (30.06.2018) for aed 1, 695/-. The bangles were gifted to our baby niece.

Over the last one year, the bangles have discolored around the edges to silver shades.

We visited the nearby malabar gold and diamonds - dubai qusais outlet to check on this. The guy at the qusais store, vineeth, claimed that the baby’s gold bangles may have come in contact with some harsh chemicals due to which the bangles have discolored. We tried telling him that our baby niece was wearing it and there is absolutely no way it has come in contact with any harsh chemicals! How can we trust 916 gold anymore?!!

On requesting to meet a supervisor, he said that nothing can be done. Also, he challenged us to go to court, rather than amicably resolving the issue. Extremely disappointed with the poor customer service.

    Hi Team,
    I have purchase one mangalasutra last yera 2017 july . I have just wore for two three days and saw one diamond fallen and the pendant bent, so I kept it inside not to wear and at the same time I called Malabar center they asked me to come over to jewelry but unfortutenly I was out of town since then I just delivered my baby. I was back ti in may 2018 and went malabar pheonix to complaint and they said I should check with Marathali branch since I purchased from there how ever they have taken it repire and confirmed nothing will happen again but just after a week one more diamomnd fallen from other line .
    Jist like that diamonds cant fall, there is some manufactoring defect but your managers in malabar are not ready to accept, I am a regilar buyer og Malabar having that trust I purchase but first time I have been getting a negetive feedback from Malabar and your people at Jewellary are not ready accept the fact that its manufactoring defect.
    Managalsutra ladies have their emotion attached if its falling how will I feel I am so petrified to purcahse anything Malabar now.

      this is a very important information for all of you . If you are planning to buy gold from dubai especially from malabar, than don't buy .

      If you will buy gold ornaments from them, than there sales executives will inform the custom authorities of your country about your purchase ( because they have a commission set with the authorities )

      i have already suffered this . Hence don't buy from malabar .
      A big thief company .

        I have purchased a bangle from the showroom at Hubli mall, confirming with sales rep and manager that the bangle should be durable as it is for daily office wear. I was assured that the maximum damage would only be to the coral and if there's any damage we could come back. Now within a months time and bangle not worn daily too, it has got bent and the link has opened up. Wen i asked for exchange, the showroom manager Ali Bhai speaks rudely n says they would never sell it as daily wear and that i should be careful that the bangle shouldn't touch a chair etc. Its a delicate one and its only for function.

        Kindly exchange the bangle as this wasn't expected after paying Rs.40, 000/-. They say i can sell it to them without refunding gst and making charge which is a loss of 8000 Rs to me. They assured to repair it but I'm sure its once again going to deform and basically i want for daily wear.

          I hav given my tissot watch purchased from malabar gold under warranty for service on 21 may 2018 at kanhangad branch, now its around more than 50 days but no response from serv centre or nobody attends the call[protected] the no. provided on serv bill .very bad serv by malabar.i will never ever suggest any one or will never buy any product from this company

            We Visited Malabar store in lulu old airport. Designs and quality are really respectable.

            We found our "this is it rings" in that store. We bought it and we are really happy! 😀They informed that its free resizing and we can even change color for free of charge. We bought the rings even its a bit expenssive knowing that will be the symbol our our love for each other.

            The nightmare comes when we resize the rings. I sent to them in a awesome figure for "resizing" and what they did is reshaping😭It doesnt look nice the new shape now. I looks very cheap. I trusted Maalabar with this. 😩I want the same figure before. Even the design behind it should have returned back to its original figure. This is breech of the design from Malabar. The one took from the small on will be added to big one. It needs to be 17.

            If it needs to be back to its manufacturer, then
            Bring back to uae if possible.

            Staffs kept telling, "it is fine" "no problem"😣 but for us big problem.

            But for me as your costumer, you ruined my wedding ring😭😭😭 we hope you understand our very sad situation.
            We just want solution to this. 😩

                We went to malabar today to sell a gold chain. They weighed the chain and reported 27 grams of gold. After that they took the chain for checking the purity. The employee came after half and hour and he weighed the chain again and reported 19 grams. We asked him to show us the cctv footage but the guy kept fooling around and didn't show the footage...

                  We visited malabar gold shop (Belgaum) on 30/03/2018 to buy 01 ms chain and pendent, after due time we selected the one and querried for the same. The sales rep (Abhishek pujar) alongwith the manager (Arun kalghatkar) convinced the total cost of the above product was rs. 96, 000/- and you take the delivery on akshaya tritiya you will be be given silver coin of the same wt of gold purchased. However, when we inquired, if we take the delivery on 18/04/2018 waht gold rate you will charge, for this they assured sir, will take 30/03/2018 days gold rate but delivery is on 18/04/18. For this, we agreed and went back. But today i. E, 18/04/2018 when i went to take delivery the manager as well as the sales rep is denying that they promised us something like that, and they are applying today's rate. After due discussion they started ignoring and avoiding me and telling that this is company's policy and u have to pay today's gold price only and i[censored] r not buying the gold today u will not be eligible to get the silver coin (Gift) also.
                  Sir, u can check the discussion happened between us through the security cameras installed there.
                  This is clear case of duping the customer's and the necessary inquiry should be initiated.
                  Sir, please do the needful so that the justice should be prevailed.

                    On[protected] i went with my mom and purchased mangalasutra, after few days (Within 5 days) it has broken and approached to the shop and informed about the mangalsutra, they took it sent for repair.
                    As they have promised us that the product will be repaired and given back in within 15 to 20 days, but till now[protected] i didn't get the mangalsutra back,
                    I visited to shop and called them several times for the repair status, they just said still it will take time.
                    Still how days they need to repair? Do you believe that my product will be return back to me? Shall i go consumer forum and put a case against this issue?

                    Its not appreciable.

                      I had approached malabar gold - dharmapuri stores for disposal of jewels purchased by my family members in earlier years. however, dharmapuri stores refused for want of phone number of the purchaser (at the time of purchase), place of purchase and bill related to the purchase, even though they have admitted the jewels bear the seal of malabar gold. malabaar gold - dharmapuri stores demanded bills related to the jewels, consequent to gst. the statement/requirement of dharmauri store is contrary to the practice prevailing in tamilnadu by all leading jewelers. i was disappointed by the attitude of malabar gold - dharmapuri stores.

                        I purchased in hubli branch karnataka and my complaint is,,,,, one of the worst making work i have seen means that's in malabar gold i purchased a necklace around 50grms within 6to 8months its broken 3to 4 times and they made ready every time but again again same issue, i asked them for exchange but they are asking for making charge why should we need to go for branded store, seriously worst making work. Irresponsible answer from manager.

                          Recently i visited malabar gold n jewelry mega mall sharjah on 9.2.18... I visited the outlet morning and bought a ring... After some few minutes staff asked up to hurry up as they have some maintenance work... And. So we did card transaction after which then the staff told they are having some system error and promised us to keep the bill ready and would be available once we come bak again after our shopping... We came back to store by afternoon to get the bill, but that staff was not there and there 3 to 4 staffs... I informed whole story to a philipo cashier lady... She asking thr other collegue and trying to convice us to go n come later... And which really made me upset and i questioned her is this the way to respond to a. Customer...??? Then she fianly called up the morning staff and asked for the barcode and made a manual bill... Stating that system is still not working... And i accepted that trusting "malabar" as im regular customer of malabar back in kerala and the qusais brnch... And i asked her to send my invoice via mail once the system is ready and gave her my mail id as well...
                          After that i called up outlet twice...
                          Till now i dint receive my bill copy by mail...
                          I dont understand why there is no professional communication among thr staff...??? And y did the saleman collect money from me once if he knw that the system in not fine...
                          I had a very bad experince. Will never choosee malabar again...

                          We have purchased two gold neckless on different ocation with stone. But both the neckless got break from the joint. That was manufactured defect, our trust has gone from Malabar Gold. From next time onwards I will not refer you people.
                          I have purchased tissot 1853 model strap watch on 13th may 2017 from Malabar Gold, Sulthan Bathery.But with in a span of 1year it's been noticed that strap is damaged.

                            Yesterday (3/02/2018) we visited your malabar gold show room in bangalore jayanagar for selling the gold (2chain) purchased from kozhikode malabar gold. Sales man taken weight for 1chain 16.694gm, he told they want to remove impurities... Normally all the gold shops are removing impurities just burn the gold.. But gold smith from malabar gold told he want to melt the gold. After melting weight was 15.794 almost 1 gm i lost....

                            Malabar gold and diamonds KPHB colony promised to deliver the jewelry on 16th January, 2018.We needed it urgently we spoke many times before paying the advance.now the due date has crossed and after 3hrs of constantly calling finally the manager picked up and he was absolutely non apologetic . when I said I will drag him to court he was so confident that he said do whatever you want.pathetic.

                              I purchased a diamond ring in yellow gold on 4 december 2017 under the name of dr nitin jaiswal from your outlet located at pusa road, karol bagh.

                              I was promised my ring within 30 days.
                              It has been more than a month now but i am not getting any satisfactory response from malabar gold shop.

                              I am quiet disappointed and it was really a sad experience shopping with malabar due to highly unprofessional behaviour..

                              It is my last effort when i am complaining at your head office.. Otherwise i wil have to take stern actions against you

                                We have purchased diamond 💍 at muscat with an assurance of can be possible to replace from any where. But now we went to malabar gold payyanur they told us you should go to muscat for replacement. Also they told us that our policy changed now. If your policy changed now why should i suffer for that, i purchased as per your assurance that can be changed from any where.

                                  My complaint is against the store
                                  Manager “mr. Anil kumar” at rolla sharjah (Old branch). On 31.12.2017, i had purchased a gold chain and pair of earrings from this malabar jewelry under the dsf promotion where the transaction was made for aed 6, 250 and for the same amount an exchange with the used gold jewelry was done.. However, when it came for the dsf vouchers i was informed that i am not entitled for it since it was an exchange.. But in my experience i have always exchanged gold during dsf and i have got the full no. Of vouchers even from the other jewelry stores.. As i had raised my concern at the counter, the manager stepped in who was very rude and did not want to understand the matter.. All he was referring to was it cannot be possible as per the terms and conditions.. He was almost trying to be physical and sounded angry..

                                    This with reference towards diamond gold necklace worth rs15 lakhs. From dubai. By sales manager mujeebur rahman. Dubai uae deira. While selling mr. Mujeebur rahman had said that all diamonds are real and even have branches in india. And would get always appreciated value any where in india. But when we enquired in india towards purity of necklace diamond they are saying will get only 70% of actual value and at all no one responding in india neither in dubai. If still no one respond to our query than i would complaint in dubai embassy and india government and flash your company name in news paper in india and dubai both.
                                    Mujeebar rahman had wrong sold the product by assuring 100% purity in diamond and gold.
                                    Kindly take on a serious note and rectify my query as no one is responding neither helping as we have recently purchase in november 2017.

                                      Dear customer care,

                                      I would like to highlight a malabar's image tarnishing incident which happen at 9 p. M (Malaysia time).

                                      I bought a rado watch at this malabar store in october'17.
                                      I came back today (17/12/17) to seek assistance to adjust the rado watch wrist as it was still too loose although it had been adjusted at the point of purchase.

                                      Initially i was told by one of the store staff that there is no one to assist me and he cant help. Then i approached the salesman that sold the rado watch but he completely ignored our presence, this was very rude and tarnishes the good image of malabar to all the customers present there. Fortunately, another staff interjected and offered assistance after we expressed our shock and the necessary adjustment was done.

                                      Customer service should not only be at the point of sale, after sales assistance is also important.
                                      This rude incident has tarnished the image of malabar in our eyes and we (Myself, family and friends) will never patronize this shop again.
