We Did Health Checkup on 27th March 2018 with Hospital Number MH[protected]
Health Checkup Department updates me that i receive the Health Checkup Reports by email to [protected]@gmail.com and hard copy to my home address after 3 days first and foremost i didn't receive the reports to my email address i was contacting Manipal Hospital number more than 100 time they are keeping my call on hold and avoiding answering the call i really frustrated that suck a multi specialty hospital services are very bad. reach me #[protected] i have called to Manipal Hospitals numbers[protected]/[protected]/[protected]/[protected] no one is taking they keep changing the number and fooling the patients Manipal is only for Money? if i visit for the reports also we need to pay for Parking and with out Money Manipal will not respond to any humans if money is there they respond to monkeys also.

    On monday i went for an interview for the position of staff nurse as informed by the nursing department but i couldn't reach there on time due to the heavy traffic block so finally i managed to reach at 11am and i apologized for my late coming but the head nurse who was wearing black suit and one more lady with i'd card behaved very unprofessionally without any humanity. I wonder how these people had been trained from their parents and family maybe like these without any compassion however they have badge of nurses. Is this the way manipal hospital treat the patients i was told to go away from that head nurse as if i begged her for job and she even said that she doesn't have time for interview even though she was chatting through wattsapp. These type o[censored]nethical behaviour should come to limelight and these people should learn basic english language they don't even know the word respect and humanity they act like a group of savage professionals. These people have relegated the whole reputation of manipal and other nurses. Shame on you.
    Today I book an appointment with above mentioned doctor but after that I don't found any profile or name of that doctor in Your website. I contact Manipal hospital Whitefield but your representative disconnect the call after hearing my complain & not received my call inspite of calling him repeatedly.

      The hospital charges rs 150 as one time registration fee on top of doctors consultation fee and the prescription doesn't even have either the doctors name nor the registration number. I visited dr reshu saraogi recently and am not able to even claim the money from insurance because this kind of prescriptions are not permissible. This kind of instances from a reputed hospital is simply not acceptable because they are looting middle class people in the name of treatment.

        Hi.. I went to emergency at manipal hospital whitefield around 10pm. Before visiting there i called and asked about pediatrician availability.. They said yes pediatrician is available. When i reached to emergency and asked for pediatrician.. Nurse asked me to wait for 15-20 min. But the doctor came after 40 min.. He was not available in hospital. The general doctor name archana... Didn't bother to come out of her chamber and see the baby condition. When pediatrician came... I told him i was not aware he is coming from home... I should have been told about it. Dr. Archana came suddenly and told the pediatrician not to attend this patient... How can a patient ask for doctors availability... When they have been told to wait. Is this a kind of service manipal hospital provides to patients? Such arrogant doctors are only sitting and there and enjoying there vacation in hospital... They don't bother to even see the customer in emergency... If a patient need to wait for 1 hour in emergency... Then they should probably change the name from emergency to opd.
        It was my first visit... And last also because i won't visit this pathetic hospital ever again.

          Hi,

          My uncle named as n g vijayshekar had a surgery due to urinal infection 1 month back and discharged after few days. Again, after a week's of time he was very weak. So, admitted to the same hospital on 06/12/2017-11/12/2017. Doctor's pushed the dates to scan and gave silly reasons that he is weak and couldn't scan. Later, today i. E. On 11/12/207 @10 am, my uncle said to my aunt that they are not treating him properly and asked us to discharge. After 3 hrs, doctors declared that he is dead and billed around 3 lakhs. This hospital is a scam. I need justice.

            Dear sir / madam,

            I am prabhakar and i come from middle class family my mother & father are senior citizens, i under want ear surgery tympanoplasty type 1 manipal hospital under dr bhathi reddy on 17th oct -2017, after 14 days 1st nov-17 my right face got paralysis & immediately i want to same hospital emergency department & they sent me to ent opd department to meet dr grish roy, i explained all my problems & history with doctor grish roy, after consulting me dr told due to pus formed inside the operated ear your right face is got paralyzed & he admitted immediately & started the treatment
            Next day after the ct scan of ear report dr told the pus is formed & it has decompressed the facial nerve, again i underwent second surgery on 2nd nov-17 due to pus infection. After second operation i come to know the bacteria is pseudomonas aeruginosa got infected to my ear after first surgery.
            My complain is the first operated dr bhathi reddy had infected the bactira while operating my ear & the same infection spread to my surrounding of my ear and infected my facial nerver.
            My question is below.
            1. Dr bhathi reddy not treated me properly, i can prove along with supporting.
            2. He had infected the bactiria while operating me by unknowingly.
            3. Why second operation is done by grish roy when first operated doctor is available in hospital.
            4. I had spent more than rs 3 lakh for second operation along with health problem
            5. Even after one month i could not able to walk properly because i am facing imbalance while walking & my right face got paralyzed still now.
            6. I am not able to go to office & still i am at home by without salary.
            7. I am struggling to meet my day to day medical & personal expense due to the operation.
            I had approached hospital management asking for solution for my problem, but they are not accepting there mistake & not responding to my queries.
            I request & beg i need justice for my problem for which i am innocent.
            Requesting to take legal step on manipal hospital air port road bangalore & enquiry about my problem and refund the second operation cost, medicine expenses, & medical report expenses i incurred due to infection.

              I have 3 Nos. serious complaints against Manipal Hospital regarding investigation of my daughter Ms. Rajasree Bose (Hospital No. 2155982) :

              1.Against Bill No. MHB170CS046345B Dt. 19.10.17, I had paid total Rs. 4, 560.00 (Rs. 2, 920.00 for Doppler Cartoid & Vertebral Vessels and Rs. 1, 640.00 for Ultrasound Neck). Very unfortunately the report o[censored]ltrasound Neck was not given with my apprehension that the test was not conducted at all. This is beyond my expectation from a highly reputed organization like Manipal Hospital,
              HENCE, I REGISTER MY CLAIM ON MANIPAL HOSPITAL FOR REFUND OF SAID AMOUNT I.E. Rs. 1, 640.00 IMMEDIATELY..

              2. On 18.10.17 at around 7-45 AM, one gentleman came for collection of blood sample. After that a big bruise was formed on the right thaigh of my daughter which was shown to Madam Deepti of your Cutomer Care Dept. in the week beginning 23.10.17 (exact date I can`t recollect). I claim suitable compensation on this account.

              3. During the aforesaid home collection on 18.10.17, the gentleman had confirmed that all the reports (except the Peripheral Smear Test) will be available by 12-00 noon on the same day while the report for Peripheral Smear Test will be available in the evening on the same day (which is normally the time for such reports). I regret to inform you that we were to show the reports on the same day noon time for him to decide next course of treatment for my daughter who is a `surgery patient`.
              I had to run from basement to 9th. floor from 12-00 noon to 5-00 pm to get the report. Ref. Bill No. MHB170CS0459186 Dt. 18.10.17.

              All the above complaints was informed to Madam Deepti of your Customer Care Dept. on 21.10.17 which was again brought to her notice in the week beginning 23.10.17 (exact date I can`t recollect). But very unfotunately ther is no response from Manipal Hospital till date while more than 1 month has elapsed since the complaint was first lodged.

              I hope to have your kind intervention in the matter so that immediate response is obtained from your organization and the matter is resolved to my satisfaction latest within a fortnight so that there is no need to flair up the matter to higher level

                For my baby sent doctor suggested ia and oae test, but they could not able to do test as my baby was disturbing, but still they told me to do the payment. Also for doing test i have to visit 2 times as doctor today to come after 3 days, because doctor knows after 3 days again i have to pay consultation fee. It clearly indicates money minded hospital. Not only i was cheated, i saw many people's posted complaints of being cheating.
                Why i have been charged without test and provided me an empty report?

                  On 31st october i had been to emergency section in manipal hospital old airport road location for an emergency on left leg ankle twist which happened during my corporate team building, our corporate is a leading company tied up with manipal hospitals for health checks

                  The attitude in which doctor was acting with ya was no way acceptable and we were kept on waiting for 45 mins to get a x-ray done, i could not tolerate the pain, the x ray in emergency section also not engaged and was free, they could have easily put me up there for an x ray, the doctor was chit chatting with the nurse and felt like those nurse was mocking the doctor and when enquired, the reply was “we maintim good relationship with he sisters,
                  On asking for the delay, to our surprise we have got the attached document and the doctor asked us to leave from emergency, not even a wheel chair was prvoided, i was lymphing until he main entrance to meet customer relations manager explaining my corporate history, the attitude of doctor was no way acceptable and definitely needs an apology in written. To our surprise there was a patient admitted in trauma and the doctors inside was struggling to keep the life on of the patient, when they were requesting for outside nurses to help and bring in some equipment’s, they were routing others person to go and enquire and kept on delaying, seriously no way acceptable
                  We come to manipal for patient care and when seeing emergency cases like this lively, i feel it’s nothing but corporate business you guys are engaged in! #mersalmovie is true

                    We had booked an online appointment for master check up for 4 people for 1st oct 2017. We had also got a confirmation call from the hospital. We went to bangalore all the way from assam. But when we reached they said there were no doctors available on that day. They promised us to refund our money (Rs. 20, 000). And till date, we have not received any money. We had also submitted all the bank details but there is no result yet. Why was the appointment confirmed if no doctors and technicians were available. Why was our money taken. We have always got good reviews about your hospital. But is this the way you treat your patients. Highly disappointed! We have contacted your team many times but every time we get the same response that money will be refunded. But when? Please look into the matter seriously!

And every time they say that process is long and will be solved within 7 days. And today is 22nd of oct. We have always got good reviews about your hospital.                       I opt malathi manipal for my. Regular consultation i have been visiting hospital more than 4years now. Quiet old patient infact i had my first delivery at malathi manipal hospital.

                      I always find staff and not quiet well trained when it comes to billing. When i consult hospital for lab they make multiple bills because of. Lack of clarity as in what to bill for what test. Tgis isn't first time. Today also i have experienced the same. I am really not happy with lab staff and billing staff and the services. It would be nice if you can improve on that
                      My hospital id 43606.

                      I would like to take the complaint to next level. Please improve the service and quality along with the charges. Appretiate if you have trained staff and provide quality services.
                      I stood for around 60 minutes only to get a new regrestration.Its so frustrating that such a big hospital has such poor staff and management .There's only one staff lady who manages regristration of so many people.This is pathetic. Location:Manipal hospital old airport road.
                      Time of problem faced :9am.
                      Moreover the staff reply in a rude manner.

                        We went to dr thankam for our 9th month scanning and it was horrible experience. We went on time, due to pathetic parking at manipal i asked my wife to wait in the scanning area while i park my car. I got delayed by 15mins and this lady is so arrogant she was taunting my wife about my absence. Finally, when we went to scanning room she behaved so arrogantly and didn't bother to tell us about health of the baby. When my wife asked some questions she got annoyed. Worst doctor on the planet. Don't ever go to this lady.

                          Hi,
                          Please note i had gone to manipal hospital for blocked nose, heavy chest, cold cough and they gave me vertin 16 mg and told me to visit ent dr. Bathi reddy for consultation the very next day.in good faith we went to the doctor and he made us do unnecessary ear tests and said my left ear has hearing problem and gave me vertin 16 mg again for 7 days. After 2 days my problem was not resolved so i again went immediately to apollo in the evening for 2nd opinion. To my utter surprise and dismay i was told i was having normal viral fever with excessive allergy that led to blocked nose and ears. I was given antibiotics for only 5 days and i was fit and fine again. Dr. Bathi reddy is really not at all a good doctor, only leaves you at the hands of juniors and asks you to do tests to burn your pocket. He does not listen to the patient at all and makes weird faces. He seriously doesnt have sense of ent at all. We have visited doctors in aiims, indraprsatha apollo for ent as well. This has been the worst experience. They know how to rob people and make money. Very unprofessional.

                            I have done root canal 1 week before and the filling came out yesterday day accidentally i have swallown it.. Doctor name is achuda baliga.. But he told a lady staff to do the procedure and it's her first root canal... And i have got full wounds inside and outside of my cheek this one week i have suffered a lot because of the pain i couldn't even open my mouth... And at last d filling came out also.. Dr advised me to fix crown after 2 or 3 weeks... But how can i trust these people again..

                              This is to informed you that in manipal hospital old airport treatment is good and ok but they misguided us in there estimation charge on
                              Our treatment. They told us approximate cost is 1.8 lakes and they give us a bill 2, 62000 this is huge difference. No body can told us the proper and correct reason. Everyone one misguided us. This so bad impression nd it's not good for mapipal hospital management. Management and billing section is not so good and helpful.
                              Wrong medicine given from pharmacy.. it was different from what doctor had prescribed, , just want to take necesary action for this medical negligency

                                1. My son 3 year 6 month old had vomiting frequently on 26.06.2017 so i took him to nelema rao, pediatrician (Hal old airport manipal hospital). After checking she informed that my son has ear and throat
                                Infection and given him antibiotics augmentin dds &ibugesics plus.

                                2. My son had this medicines and his condition become worse then i took him to hal hospital and medihope hospital both hospital confirmed that my son does not have ear and throat infection and they told to stop this medicines immediately.

                                3. I request you to take serious action against nelema rao otherwise i will take it to different public forum and further i will take you to consumer court.

                                  Yesterday my pregnant wife met Dr.Manonmani for consultation revisit. Dr.Manonmani was unprofessional and was very harsh. We did not go to the doctor whom she referred on time for blood sugar check up. we told Dr that we are monitoring the blood sugar level at home, but Dr.Manonmani was very arrogant for not meeting the referred doctor.

                                    Hi Team,

                                    This is highly unacceptable from a reputed hospital like Manipal. I had an allergy on my skin and I called the customer care guy on[protected] on 29th May, 17 to book an appointment with the dermatologist and I told him very clearly that I have got skin allergy. The guy booked an appointment with Dr. Vijay KR Rao.

                                    After reaching the hospital, at every counter, I told very clearly that I want to meet the dermatologist, Dr. Vijay.

                                    I met the doctor and told him everything, he prescribed me the tests and medicine. I got all the tests done. He asked me to meet him again on Thursday. Again, I told every time to the doctor that I have a skin allergy.

                                    Now, today I called again on the same number[protected] to book an appointment with the same doctor for Thursday, as advised by the doctor. And to my surprise, the customer care executive told me the doctor is not from the dermatologist department and some joint pain doctor.

                                    Issue 1: Why the customer care executive booked a wrong appointment?
                                    Issue2: Why no one at the hospital (every counter) told me that he is not a dermatologist?
                                    Issue3: Why the doctor didn't advise me that he is not a dermatologist and I should consult the right doctor?
                                    Issue4: How can a doctor who is not a dermatologist prescribe tests for allergy and give medicines which I am eating from last 2 days.

                                    Kindly take this issue on priority basis.

                                      I was advised by a doctor to do some routine tests, i thought that manipal is near to my office so it would be easier for me. By the way, i am a student and living on a fellowship in bangalore. I did a lft some serum tests and a usg. They billed be ~4k. Since i had no prior knowledge of the rates of these tests i didn't know what was happening. Once done (Ufff!) i went back to my office and checked the cost of same tests (Except usg) from dr. Lal path labs with home sample collection and found that these people have charged me about twice the market rate and an additional 150 for registration.

                                      Government of karnataka should take a serious note of all the complainants mentioned here whether they are pediatric, emergency, or less necessary like my tests. But indeed these people are looting public with both hands. There should be tight regulations by concerned authorities to make sure that hospitals like manipal are regulated. For me, i will never be back to manipal and recommend that no one should ever go there.

                                        My name is karan bahri. All my surgeries were done at manipal hospital bangalore old airport road from 22nd feb 2015. All procedure were followed and i was sent back to mumbai on 25th april. As soon as i landed mumbai in 2 days i was admited to hinduja hospital at mahim mumbai. And as per my reports it was a infection which is comman at the hospitals and which was contracted at manipal hoapital bangalore. I tried contacting my drs at manipal hospital bangalore but it was waste of time and my health as none of them responded. Also i got operated by a surgen who was not an expert but was just a trainee for plastic surgery and cause of which my wounds are still fresh and giving me a hard time to recover. I was looking forward to file a case against the dr and the hospital who treated me. Looking forward for a proper responce from the legal department to clear my concer or to take this case in media or to the court of law for justice. Waiting for your reply. Karan bahri. [protected]
