Hello,

I have visited cardiology department on Monday 30/05/2022 for high bp and we have taken appointment for Dr. Ranjan Shetty. But due to he was busy junior doctor consulted and suggested some tests. Post tests, doctor consulted and prescribed medicine. I got side affect of headache after taking medicine. So i called cardiology department for suggestion of different medicine. But they want me to physically visit and pay charge of 900 again just for change of medicine. Best way of looting money.

    I had purchased 4 pieces of Polybion injection from the Pharmacy at Malathi Manipal Hospital for my grandfather who is a dialysis patient. One out of the four was used on the same day during dialysis. When I came the next time for dialysis two days later, the nurse informed me that the other three injections have gone waste since they were not stored under refridgeration.

    The pharmacy staff had not informed me that the injection must be stored under refridgeration while I had purchased the medicines. The medicines have gone waste simply because of misguidance and lack of proper information while selling the medicines. The patient cannot bear the charges for this as it a clear fault of the pharmacy staff. I request for a refund of the amount charged for the three injections. Bill details have been attached.

      Manipal isn't Manipal anymore. Manipal hospital was not just another hospital for people. Its a hope and its a belief. But, I warn you people, this is changing amd its changing fast.
      17th May - My parents went for a regular full body check-up to Manipal. My Mom(age=52) had some minor inconsistency in the liver area for which few scanning were done, but none were o[censored]se. People who handled my parents were some careless kids who is on their phone non-stop who does not care for people's lives. They could have suggested CT scanning at the first place but they still made us go through other scanning which were of no use. So, whole day spent in hospital but couldn't get scanning done due to server issue and my parents were told to come on 18th.
      18th May - 9am we had appointment for CT scanning. Waited till 3 pm and was told again server issue. Asked us to be back on 20th.
      20th May - Injection which is supposed to be given before CT scanning to the blood vein was given to a muscle. The nurse who gave did feel that she made a mistake that she had given to a muscle, but still decided to leave my mom alone in the lab and went out for 10 mins. Immediately, my mom started experiencing heavy pain and immediate swelling of her hand. She became unconscious screaming, shouting, but no one was there to help. When my dad asked, they gave such a vague answer. They said, "we need to do this after a few days. Because for the next few days she will be in pain and the hand will be swollen". Such as simple answer for a mistake that has been done by them. My dad went to inquire the staff who treated my mom, and my dad was shocked to see they were laughing over the video on their phone. They literally put someone's life in danger, but there is zero remorse? We were not informed about what needs to be done next for the immense pain my mom is suffering, or for the swollen hand.

      Is this how a hospital like Manipal KMC is treating people. People believe KMC is a lifesaver. KMC is the last hope. But, this is changing. Am telling this to the management, due to mismanagement and lack of care towards patients. People are not scared of disease. but, people are scared of KMC MANIPAL.
      I want to know what action you take against this? we don't need any favors in return for what happened. But, we need our KMC to be the KMC 10 years ago.

          Manipal hospital Sarjapura Road charged parking fee while we went for health check up. Why is such a reputed hospital resorting to illegal means of looting money from the patients. This is deplorable. So disappointed.

            Reg :MH[protected]. I Visited Manipal Hospital Dwarka with my father with an appointment but the staff denied considering it. MY father has CGHS panel. Staff did not entertained and ask us to pay Rs. 900/-
            The first visit we did we have been told to come with an appointment.
            When we came with an appointment then It was told that the appointment is not valid as it is out of slot for panel patient.
            No clear instruction for the panel patient on online appointment. Staff was rude and unprofessional specially Shivani. Tried reaching out Customer Care Relationship Officer and waited for more than half an hour outside her room. But she was not their.
            Sorry to say but I will never recommend your hospital. I felt that I have been cheated and hospital is looting us in the name of panel. I want my money back as it was not our fault.

              Urgent X ray reports are not ready for more than 24 hours gor a critical patient .

              The hospital management is of no use. They are in their own state of attitude. Mostly these people you'll easily amd always found in cafeteria area but not at their place of work

                Hi team,

                My name is somashekar and my son charith got admited for his hand surgery, on 13 April at Manipal Bangalore Sarjapur Road, now once noon am here at hospital and they made us mistake in bills and charged additional, and so the insurance company deducted the amount 50% and now the hospitals staff instead solving the issue with insurance company they asking me to pay the balance 50% almost 1 lakh, and since 4pm they making me wait in lobby and my dad who is 72 years old is sitting hidle at hospital, along with my son, Insurance company wanted revised bil And staff here saying unable to upload documents, asking me either clear bill and go or wait till next day morning instead solving the issue

                Am realy upset kindly help

                  My father is retired from the NCT health department. A week ago my father had a brain stroke, quickly I went and admitted him to Manipal Hospital, at that time an amount of 30000 was asked from me, after that the treatment started. After the advice of the doctor, I started the process of getting him discharged, he threatened me, first deposit the bill of 186000, then take it, Billing department person Rahul ([protected]) respects the elderly father and me, where will he go only then. There for security, the powerful bouncer threatened us, we cannot be told without paying money. Do not understand what is happening to such treatment to a retired DGEHS man when this treatment should be free. This is what the Delhi government and rules say. I request that justice should be done to me and my father should be taken out of the hospital. Important letters are attached together, see them and do justice and strict action should be taken against all information shared in social media also...

                      I applied for resident medical officer post and i gave interview to Dr Sudhir whose CMS there, i got selected too and they said date of joining will be as soon as possible.
                      After 1 week, I contacted HR, there was no update. Then i went to HR office, she told me they have vacanies for DGO or MD obs n gynae only for now.. earlier she gave me MO post in obs n gynae.. so the whole sole point is HR is herself confused.. she doesn’t know who to appoint n of which post? CMS and HR earlier gave me position of MO in obs n gynae dept. but actually they needed DGO or MD obs n gynae.. which i understanded later when she said that there are no vacanies right now! you can’t do this to someone. Be clear in your head first! This was very unpleasing to me abd i’m too much disappointed with manipal hospitals, ghaziabad

                        I paid the total amount of around Rs 1500 but the pharmacy bill shows just Rs 154. for discharge summary prescription.

                        Ceftum only will cost around Rs 500. how can the total bill be just 154.

                        Manipal OPD cashier is a liar and thief 😡😡😡😡. when i asked for the bill he said it'll come in mail. but i got drastically reduced bill.

                        I've been asking for the correct bill for the last 3-4 days but nobody is responding to my calls.

                            My son had to take his 3rd dose of Anti-Rabbies vaccine. The vaccine was administered by the Emergency ward in whitefield. It was the 3rd vaccine and I had bought the vaccine from Manipal pharmacy and gave to the emergency ward.

                            My son was seated in a chair and the vaccine was administered comfortably.

                            No bed was used or touched. Still we were charged Rs 50/- as bed charges.

                            This charge is illegal and unethical as without even touching the bed or using the bed, Rs 50/- was charged as bed charges.

                            I demand a refund of Rs 50/- as this was illegally charged. Accounts officer was Mr. Jai Ganesh who charged it wrongly.

                                My name is Joel
                                My brother had got admitted for a nose operation on 25th and they did all the pre operation tests ECG X ray and blood tests and on 26th they kept him on drip without food and when they put operation clothes and took him to OT door they cancelled it because some influencing person had admitted and now they are saying they can't even operate on 28th the next OT and asking to get discharged we have paid both medicine and operation advance fee
                                This is unacceptable
                                We are left strangled
                                Hope to hear from kmc

                                  My father Mr. Arun Kumar Nandi has been operated today. He is in room number 820A. The room service here is very very poor. No one is attending even after half an hour after pressing the bell. Even for helping in urination no one is coming. Such service is not expected from this hospital. I need an immediate solution to this or this is going to be escalated to the higher authorities.

                                    I have never seen such a pathetic rude and ill mannered doctor DR Vivek KUMAR .
                                    My child was suffering from an acute pain at 1.30 at night and we rushed to the emergency and there this doctor shouts loud and misbehaved saying “yaha natak dekhne aaya hai Kya” shocked to see this unruly behaviour!!! We always thought doctors are god .. !! Most pathetic experience ever !! After requesting him to be easy on our child during the rtcpr test which was a basic emergency protocol he Rudely says “ don’t teach me how to do my job”
                                    I request authorities to take proper action on ths doctor otherwise I will take the matter to media.

                                      We faced two issues today 22 Jan 2022.
                                      1. KFT reports usually in-hospital takes not more than 2 hours and pathology staff asked us to collect report at 6PM, however blood sample collected at 10:30 AM. Patient was in fasting and we had the plan to undergo CE MRI BRAIN WITH MR VENOGRAM on the same day. In the evening when we called hospital, they said on call, you could have done everything same day because KFT reports takes 2 hours only which requires for MRI.

                                      2. We paid 5766 INR for KFT, THYROID FUNCTION TEST, HBA1C, LIPID. When i checked same tests outside Healthians quotation was around 2800 INR and HOD quotation was 1555 INR only (all screenshots) attached.

                                      Our plan was to complete everything same day. The sad part is, this happened on Saturday and Sunday is Radiology doctor's not available, they are available for emergency case (we were told by hospital staff on call).

                                      Kindly provide justice.

                                        We have been visiting Columbia Asia, Yeshwanthpur for the last 10+ years and all o[censored]s a family have been appreciative of the service, care, technology and personnel. However this time around it was appalling, my mom was unwell on the 18th jan, had symptoms of COVid considering her age we rushed her to the emergency as she was dizzy and weak. We went through the process of depositing 1500 for emergency, she was put on a wheel chair she went through the blood test, chest X-ray and urine sample all of this took atleast 2 + hrs and the poor lady is sitting uncomfortably on a wheelchair all this time in a state of dizziness. I asked for the discharge summary and the doctor said give me some time and we waited patiently for another one and half hours to get the discharge summary as there is only one doctor in emergency and she running around sorting zillion things. By now we have spent close to 4 hrs on the wheel chair. Go the pharmacy to collect meds and again a long queue as there is only one person. Took me another 30 min and now 4.5 hrs on a wheel chair in an uncomfortable state. I have huge respect for health workers and am very gracious but please understand what a patient is going through when I raised my voice at the attendant at the reception she screams back to say don’t you see the queue. If you discharge patients timely I don’t think there will be queues. Above all I got to know today that the urine sample after 2 days hasn’t been sent to the lab. Very very upset and angry. The complete ordeal is costing us so much money spent inr 13k and this is the care demonstrated and don’t want to even mention about my exposure to Covid patients in these 4.5 hours.
