My son is still there and we are struggling with the service, no point in paying such huge money for such pathetic service.

Long Queues – So many folks including us had to wait in the queue either for reports, registration or prescription. Don’t think management understand the pain of standing in long with high fever kid.
Expensive - Last time it was around 450 - 600 Rs, now the consultation fee is 800 and after 6 pm its 900.
Unorganized Admission Process – With high fever kid We had to wait outside the emergency for almost 1 hour as the beds were not available. I understand, but if not available they have to provide alternative.
Insurance Process – Got admitted on 22-Aug-2022 and shared the insurance details over an email to the team.
Until I went and enquired next day if anything is pending they shared the details. And that too we had to fill up everything, was not that case earlier.
Till now, almost 48 hours from the admission they haven’t trigged the Insurance pre-approval with my insurance.
Arrogant behaviour – when asked about the process, she said these are new policies.
House Keeping – ICU2 (HDC) – for all those 5-8 patients and their bystanders only one Washroom is available and that too very dirty. Yesterday 6 year old kid (patient) slipped in the washroom.
HDU – yesterday night there were very less nurses and that too
Canteen – Food will arrive on their own time, can’t expect before 45 mins even though it’s just a toast.
Floor Manger – Yesterday night have told the admission guy to ask the floor manager or anyone who can take care of these to call me. Not received a call till now..

    I am unable to attend my father during his day care! not even a single bathroom is clean. it is such a premium hospital and the toilets are always dirty - it is highly dispappointing. You can keep some premium washrooms _ pay and use, you can charge us but at least we should get a clean toilet. My father makes his usage of toilets as less as possible because no hygine is maintained - it is stincking and always full of water everywhere. which is very risky for him.

      Sir I am A Panchapakesan. I was admitted in your whitefield hospital on 03/06/22 for removal of Gall bladder. My Registration number is MH[protected] and IP no:[protected]. While admission I paid a deposit of Rs.10000.00. I was discharged on 05/06/2022. The hospital has sent a bill of for Rs.162138.00 to the insurance company ICICI Lombard. I was informed that it will take 45 days to refund my Deposit amount. On enquiry with ICICI Lombard Insurance from where i claimed informs me that my bill has been settled in full except for an amount of Rs.1904.00 by which I should get back Rs.8096.00 from your whitefield hospital. My insurance card with ICICI LOmbard .number: IL[protected]. It is now 73 days I am yet to be refunded with my Deposit amount of Rs.8096.00.         My mother was admitted in Emergency with MRN 351443 on discharge i got bill wherein X ray charges was posted. on enquiry they said x ray was done, when i refused and asked for report then after some hours they refunded the amount saying by mistake it was posted.
        There are wrong practices going on and if we dont check bill unnecessary charges are posted.

        I need apology and compensation else the same will be escalated.

          Need your help in the below mentioned query.

          Yesterday i have visited Manipal Hospital for EYE related issue.

          That is little bit pain in my both eyes.

          As my Dr Advice for EYE check up.

          So i take appointment Of Dr Vanuli bajpai for eye testing.

          But after eye checkup i am not satisfy because i am not getting proper solution against my issue.

          Paper is attached for your reference.

          Dr is not able to tell me why this happen and what is the solution .

          I force Dr to check with proper way if there is any another test is available.

          Pl guide me or if you have any senior eye doctor available pl reference.

            In our institution residential students were taken to other hospital when they were not feeling well, they can't manage big no. Of students so we take the students to Manipal hospital first time today, I had very worst experience in my first visit.

            I went at 1 clock and paid the consultation fee and they gave appointment with doctor at 2 o clock, we waited till 3.30 but no body will response with us.

            Then I contact market manager santhu kumar and vidya and I requested with them that we have large no. Of residential students and waiting from long time but they are not at all ready to listen my words they said i[censored] want take your money back and they said u can look after some other hospital, I never expected to this from the hospital staff in my first visit.
            Patient name is surya and they refund the money at 3.30

              On Saturday early morning had been to emergency and got discharged and while billing they mentioned there is billing machine and asked to add pin More than 2 times, and amount has been deducted twice from my account trying to connect from 3-4 days and they tell they will be arranging call back and never i am getting call back from manipal Whitefield location

                My wife Abhilasha Saha was admitted on 29th of July by 7PM in Manipal hospital bellary road where she was diagnosed with stomach infection. She was treated under Dr Sanjay Rao and was allotted Room number 109.
                The attitude from nursing staff and admin staff was pathetic and the room allotted to her had a curtain which had multiple red marks on it. When we questioned the admin team the answer was we should have checked the room before entering. Now isn't my priority should be to take care of wife or rather check the room
                Second a nurse by name Soma from Tripura behaved rudely with my wife and i dont know for joy we were paying nursing fees. My wife had swollen hand and she didnt have the experience to handle the situation properly.
                There is no feedback form available at the hospital and we were asked to write our inputs in a log book.
                It was also told that i would also get a link where i can provide a feedback but that message has not reached my number yet.
                Columbia Asia was far more better before Manipal took over and service had gone to worst. I am sure this is the only reason people are moving to Aster.
                I will never approach Manipal hospital in future after this experience.

                  I called manipal columbiaasia sarjapur road as entire family was tested covid positive and wanted to admit my mom inlaw. Sahaana from marketing department called me that they can admit covid patient without attenders. And she also gave the manipal ambulance service number to book. Trusting that I booked ambulance and sent my mom in law all alone. After she reached as the bed was full and doctor clearly said as per protocol we don't admit patients without attenders. This clear communication if it was provided by sahaana, patient wouldn't have undergone so much of stress. In between the time my mom in law entered the emergency section I made few calls. So the emergency coordinator Mr.vivek got frustrated and raised voice to sahaana and said that if the patientneed to be taken in ask attender to come. So in turn sahaana called me and was ordering that i[censored] want patient to be hospitalized you meaning attenders need to come in person. Such an frustrating experience with manipal. When it was Columbia Asia it was better. Now after this merger nothing is proper except tension for patients. Now rs 2100 that I paid to ambulance is of waste, waste of time in coordinating, all o[censored]s are covid patients and my husband need to travel all along and bring my mom in law back. What a wonderful service provider isanupal. Hats off

                    Hello Team,

                    My self Sandeep Poojary, my father 'Kushta Manja Poojary' was admitted on sunday afternoon on 26th June 22, since it was an emergency my Dad was put in an emergency ward S1 cardiology. After successful treatment of blokage today morning Dr. Tom Devasia Sir called me and told clearly that my dad will be shifted to general ward from ICU section of S1 Cardiology, but since morning I have been following up with MR and nurses they are telling me Bed is not empty in general ward so he has to stay unless bed gets empty..I agree but I have seen patient admitted after my dad is being shifted to general ward and my dad is still kept in ICU, I told them you are going to charge this for ICU the guy just smiled at me.
                    Even after Dr. Tom sir asked to clear my dad from ICU, but the management is considering it lightly. DR.Tom sir did a fantastic job no doubt.

                    Please see to this issue.. my is still kept in ICU.

                    Kasturba Manipal Hospital.
                    If no response I might complaint to MCI.

                      Geetha Shetty was blessed with a baby girl dated 21/06/2022, 12.32pm weight 3.600grms with a blood group B- Postive.

                      The baby was born with a medical condition -EPULIS and was advised for immediate Surgery.

                      Surgery was performed on 23/06/2022 at 10.15am to 10.45am.

                      BLOOD COMPATIBILITY TESTING report has baby/patient blood group listed as: B Nagative.

                        I went there for a back problem, I was asked to take an X-RAY for Rs. 1500 and wasn't given a hard copy, I was asked to pay 180 for hard copy. I was bounced to Neuro by the Ortho doctor, then the Neuro bounced me to ENT. I had to pay Rs.800 for each of these consultations. The ENT doctor asked me to do a hearing test, which was perfect according to the audiologist. When I went to collect the report, they asked me to pay Rs.1200. Then he held my head and did some basic maneuvers for a minute maximum. I then left the hospital. Later that day, I got a call from the hospital staff that I have an outstanding of Rs.2500. When asked for what, he said for the head maneuvers. If I had known that he would be charging me for it, I would have gone to my regular ENT doctor who does Epley's Maneuvers as part of his consultation. These charges were not disclosed to me before the procedure was done, I did not even know this was a chargeable thing. If I had known, I would not have opted for it. Despite spending all this money, my health complaint still remains.

                          Hi,
                          This is in regards to Patient ID MH[protected]. Naina is a lactating mother and the baby is just 1.5 months old. The condition is sensitive as this course of treatment impacts two lives.
                          Giving background - We were referred by Dr. Praveena Shenoi to Dr. Hemant Kalyan for otho consultation w.r.t. DQ (Tenosynovitis) condition of my wife.
                          I consulted on 25 May 2022. First thing, a junior doctor from Hemant's sir team took down the case and suggested us X-Ray for both hands. Fine, we got it done the same day.
                          When we met Dr. Kalyan, he straight forward without looking into the X-ray report diagnosed my wife's condition as DQ. First question - If the report is not to be referred to, why waste money/time/resources on the same.
                          When we met the doctor, the pain was simple at one point only. We met the doctor on 25 May and since the pain was less, we started Wax and Ultrasound therapy on 6 June 2022 (Monday).
                          Day 1 | 6 June 2022 - Discussion on the counter - The receptionist suggested getting hand stretching exercises in addition to the wax and ultrasound therapy suggested. However, after a few discussions that it is not recommended by a doctor, the same was not billed. Feels like, the hospital is there to simply raise the bill as much as possible. However, Dr. Shalini did the wax and ultrasound session. Much relief. Everything was perfect. No issues after the initial rough experience.
                          Day 2 | 7 June 2022Dr. Anand took the therapy in his hand. He tried to readjust the hand muscle of both hands. My wife was literally down on her feet in pain and in spite of denying the readjustment, the doctor continued with the same. He said it is required. As a layman, my wife thought it is the right treatment and pain will subsidize. Further, the assistant to Dr. Anand was doing ultrasound therapy on those parts of the hands where it was not required. No professionalism whatsoever. Does he feel pleasure in seeing patients in pain? Should I take it otherwise after his slewed comment "Yeh ladki toh kafi natak karti hai" when my wife sat on the ground with the pain when he was pressing the point?
                          Day 3 | 8 June 2022Dr. Shalini took the therapy. She asked that is it better? To which my wife's response was 'I don't know'. She was in increasing pain and was of the personal opinion that it will be sorted within 24-48 hrs.
                          Day 4 | 9 June 2022Dr. Shalini took the therapy. Again the same question - Naina replied that she is feeling continuous pain across her hand. Dr. Shalini was surprised and said this should not happen. Further, my wife called for Dr. Anand and confronted him about his readjustment. He despite doing the wrong treatment explained to his side that it is required. Since my wife was all alone, she left with mental peace gone. Dr Shalini was really helpful in the whole process as she empathized with my wife's condition.
                          Day 5 | 10 June 2022I went with my wife to understand the whole issue. First, Dr. Dhanlaxmi from Physiotherapy met me. She tried to understand the situation. Basis her discussion with the doctor - She suggested 'I should go ahead with the remaining 6 sessions of therapy. There is not an iota of apology that there is a wrong treatment done which a non-doctor person is able to understand. I simply had trust issues and wanted to meet Dr. Kalyan. She was not in favor of the same. However, after my request, she made the appointment available.
                          The first thing the doctor said was - not to go ahead with the ultrasound therapy for the next 7 days! As per the prescription, there was no suggestion to twist/stretch and it was not recommended course of treatment. Phew! This was totally out of the box.
                          Twice - The wrong suggestions. The pain is continuously increasing. My wife is not even able to hold a glass of water in her hand now. Mind you - My 1.5-month daughter is much heavier to lift. Your hospital authorities have literally taken away the mental peace and Dr. Anand has literally harassed my wife saying that 'Yeh ladki toh kafi natak karti hai' when my wife was yelling in pain.
                          The point is I have wasted money on X-Ray, 4 Sessions of physiotherapy, and wax sessions. I have enough mental harassment as my wife's condition is not good and we have a baby to manage. Further, I have to purchase two hand support bands to ease the pain.
                          Please let me know, why I should not be frustrated with my monetary losses which inturn is increasing my pain.
                          Requirement - I want all refunds of money spent and subsequent treatments free of cost for my wife for her conditions which your hospital has given. Dr. Anand has aggravated the patient condition despite her consent. How can a professional press like a malishwala (local spa) when the prescription clearly says not to do any such activity? Attaching the prescription for your reference. Further, Dr. Anand should ask apology from my wife for his act o[censored]nprofessionalism. Also, my wife is not able to feed my daughter! Will you be able to compensate for those things? Dr. Dhanlaxmi tried refunding me the money for 2 sessions o[censored]ltrasound therapy. It is humiliating! It is the reason I want my complete refund of all costs incurred and future costs as I think it is because of Dr. Anand I will be incurring those expenses!
                          Kindly note that I have been consulting in Manipal for 10 departments - Namely Oncology (Dr. Patil), Cardio (Dr Padamkumar), ENT, Gastro, Diabetes (Dr. Bhattacharya), Urologist (Dr. Tripathi), Physician (Dr. Sanghvi), Dentist (Dr. Sharon). So, don't take my requirements thinking that I don't understand how things work in your hospital.
                          Your physiotherapy department works on a different timeline than your Ortho department. Pls get it sorted as life is at stake.
                          Request higher authorities' intervention at the earliest.
                          If you can charge for everything - From registration to parking to every damm consultation and procedures - yes, we deserve professional treatment.

                            I have visited cardiology department on Monday 30/05/2022 for high bp and we have taken appointment for Dr. Ranjan Shetty. But due to he was busy junior doctor consulted and suggested some tests. Post tests, doctor consulted and prescribed medicine. I got side affect of headache after taking medicine. So i called cardiology department for suggestion of different medicine. But they want me to physically visit and pay charge of 900 again just for change of medicine. Best way of looting money.

                              I had purchased 4 pieces of Polybion injection from the Pharmacy at Malathi Manipal Hospital for my grandfather who is a dialysis patient. One out of the four was used on the same day during dialysis. When I came the next time for dialysis two days later, the nurse informed me that the other three injections have gone waste since they were not stored under refridgeration.

                              The pharmacy staff had not informed me that the injection must be stored under refridgeration while I had purchased the medicines. The medicines have gone waste simply because of misguidance and lack of proper information while selling the medicines. The patient cannot bear the charges for this as it a clear fault of the pharmacy staff. I request for a refund of the amount charged for the three injections. Bill details have been attached.

                                Manipal isn't Manipal anymore. Manipal hospital was not just another hospital for people. Its a hope and its a belief. But, I warn you people, this is changing amd its changing fast.
                                17th May - My parents went for a regular full body check-up to Manipal. My Mom(age=52) had some minor inconsistency in the liver area for which few scanning were done, but none were o[censored]se. People who handled my parents were some careless kids who is on their phone non-stop who does not care for people's lives. They could have suggested CT scanning at the first place but they still made us go through other scanning which were of no use. So, whole day spent in hospital but couldn't get scanning done due to server issue and my parents were told to come on 18th.
                                18th May - 9am we had appointment for CT scanning. Waited till 3 pm and was told again server issue. Asked us to be back on 20th.
                                20th May - Injection which is supposed to be given before CT scanning to the blood vein was given to a muscle. The nurse who gave did feel that she made a mistake that she had given to a muscle, but still decided to leave my mom alone in the lab and went out for 10 mins. Immediately, my mom started experiencing heavy pain and immediate swelling of her hand. She became unconscious screaming, shouting, but no one was there to help. When my dad asked, they gave such a vague answer. They said, "we need to do this after a few days. Because for the next few days she will be in pain and the hand will be swollen". Such as simple answer for a mistake that has been done by them. My dad went to inquire the staff who treated my mom, and my dad was shocked to see they were laughing over the video on their phone. They literally put someone's life in danger, but there is zero remorse? We were not informed about what needs to be done next for the immense pain my mom is suffering, or for the swollen hand.

                                Is this how a hospital like Manipal KMC is treating people. People believe KMC is a lifesaver. KMC is the last hope. But, this is changing. Am telling this to the management, due to mismanagement and lack of care towards patients. People are not scared of disease. but, people are scared of KMC MANIPAL.
                                I want to know what action you take against this? we don't need any favors in return for what happened. But, we need our KMC to be the KMC 10 years ago.

                                    Address: Bellandur, Sarjapura Main Road

                                    Manipal hospital Sarjapura Road charged parking fee while we went for health check up. Why is such a reputed hospital resorting to illegal means of looting money from the patients. This is deplorable. So disappointed.

                                      Reg :MH[protected]. I Visited Manipal Hospital Dwarka with my father with an appointment but the staff denied considering it. MY father has CGHS panel. Staff did not entertained and ask us to pay Rs. 900/-
                                      The first visit we did we have been told to come with an appointment.
                                      When we came with an appointment then It was told that the appointment is not valid as it is out of slot for panel patient.
                                      No clear instruction for the panel patient on online appointment. Staff was rude and unprofessional specially Shivani. Tried reaching out Customer Care Relationship Officer and waited for more than half an hour outside her room. But she was not their.
                                      Sorry to say but I will never recommend your hospital. I felt that I have been cheated and hospital is looting us in the name of panel. I want my money back as it was not our fault.

                                        Urgent X ray reports are not ready for more than 24 hours gor a critical patient .

                                        The hospital management is of no use. They are in their own state of attitude. Mostly these people you'll easily amd always found in cafeteria area but not at their place of work
