Dear Manipal,

Im on for your customer since 3 year's, my wife and daughter was admitted 2 time's in your hospitals and was good behavior from your team and doctors previously.

Unfortunately bad situation happen on last 3 week's which is on 7th, my wife having ENT problem and was attend by Dr Muthu kumar, as per Dr she need to admit in dare care due to small surgery on ear's. I was inform by Dr Muthu on Manipal procedure and deposit payment which is totally rm420. Covid test rm120 and rm300 for security purpose and will refund back after discharge. We went to payment counter and i repeated same question to your cashier girl, she was answer what dr muthu explain too. On same night we went to emergency at 10.30 for covid test. We was attend by 1 nurse payment made by debit card rm420. I have ask on refund and answer was will refund rm300 after discharge. We was waiting more than an hour and when ask with security guards he said have emergency case and only 2 doctors are around and attend on the patient.
It was MANIPAL HOSPITAL AND NOT GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL WE HAVE TO WAIT AN HOUR.
Dr was come out for covid test, there was 2 people to do sweb test, my wife was second person. PLEASE NOTE THIS POINT (Dr come out with full covid cover with glove and mask, sweb test was taken with 2 people and not changing after use for 1st person)

On next day morning 8th Jan we went to admition counter, 1 of indian lady named Madam kamalam attend to my wife, form given to ask signature, no explain given during that time, explain on refund rm120 covid test will refund if insurance approve and if not balance rm300 will refund after discharge. Everything done as said.

Discharge on same day after 4pm, no bills given ask to wait 2 day's. On monday 11th Jan i have called to manipal asking about my refund and was inform will refund in account within 2 day's time, and i was ask again n again on refund money. Answered rm 300 will be refund. After 2 day's on 13th wed i called back to manipal, i was inform by your account department my refund is rm180 only. I was shocked and question what happen on balance rm120. Named was anusha explaining rm120 deduct for PPI chargers. When ask what was PPI she said doctor usage equipment which is glove mask and covid cover dress. I was question why we as a customer we need to pay for doctor usage. Your hospital should provide to your doctors. I was damn angry and inform to the girl please ask your higher officer give me a call back regarding this.

On next day i was receive calls from your admition counter speak by mdm kamalam, she was strongly claiming that she have explain everything before my wife signing on papers. Come on guys, we are not small kids to call and argue on this things all. We was cheated and staff careless why not informing earlier or before sign on papers. I have called 3 times to your customer care attend by name anis but no return called comes from your manipal hospitals.

After the day receive call from HOD name Julie terrible rude talking to my wife, Julie was saying we already explain everything and you already sign on papers, We cannot do anything if you want to complaint please proceed. When my wife shouted she said don't shout and no need to talk just cut the conversation. I called to customer care again and again speak to miss anis, I have complaint on HOD Julie very rude to my wife and anis was told will bring this issue to upper level. Already past 1 week no calls from manipal hospital. My wife follow up with Dr Muthu on 22nd Jan, we are not going and decided no more visit for manipal hospitals.

Dear Manipal hospitals,
Where was your customer service gone??
This is the way communicate to customers??
Very rude???
As HOD no responsible at all???
Where is your hospital standards??

Your admition HoD and account department not admit on staff fault but putting on customers head. Irresponsible team in both department's.

You can check my wife and daughter details since 3 year's we was your customer's

    I had an video appoitment at 1 pm with doctor mr. S R Shetty Neurosurgeon.

    I am.bhim koirala from darjeing west bengal. I have booked online video appoitment on 5th jan 2021 at 1 pm. Nobody called me. I have follow up 4 times. Nobody inform me proactively and taking 15 mins to respond call on toll free.

    I am extremely unhappy. Plz call us urgently. We are waiting for doctor.

      Hello,
      This is a very serious complaint I'm going to address.
      On 14th Dec'2020, I provided my sample to Manipal for Covid test. On 15th Dec'2020, I received positive report from them. At the very first moment, I doubted it.
      Why I doubted it?
      Not only Because I had not a little symptoms, but I went through the covid test arranged by BBMP in our campus 10 days ago, where my report was negative. And after that I did not go out of my flat as my whole family were in quarantined period.
      Now, why I went for this recent testin Manipal?
      Because, I have to go through a serious surgery and as a part of pre surgical formality I needed to provide my latest covid report. So because of this positive report, not only I get harassed by BBMP and society but also my surgery date going to get postponed.

      As I had a very strong doubt, that same day I went to lal path lab and get myself tested again.
      On 16th Dec'2020, I got my report as negative.

      Now, would you please like to explain this??!
      This is not any kind of test right? On this test result, there are many things dependent.

      I really need an explanation for this fake report and the harassment me and my whole family had to go through. Please tell me how can you compensate that??

        I had selected a wrong health check up and paid the amount .. the same day i asked them to refund and they told it is initiated. I have been running around with the helpline number given for health check ups and they don't provide any update. Order Id on this is[protected] .. This needs to be looked into priority. Very horrible experience

          My husband kiran kumar kollapa gowda .who was suppose to travel to aboard so he had to do covid test on 12th october 2020 .Test doing lady poke instrument into nose such way that blood had come from nose and still from one month he has pain on side head and upper left eyes .i. going to complain to WHO. .I rquest u to give his flight charge to come return and go back to africa and further medical test money .Before he had test same hospital but he did not had issue ..Phone number +[protected], wife number [protected]

            As per the international air travels requirements these days I wanted to get a PCR-RT test before my flight out of Bangaluru. I contacted Manipal fully expecting it to be efficient but I was absolutely let down. Their customer service team who returns your calls for appointments do not communicate properly to you. I was left worrying if I actually had an appointment confirmed for the test or not until 2 days before the day i wanted to take the test. When I inquired whether my test appointment was confirmed, I was rudely told off! When I told him I can’t just travel and come to the hospital without an appointment he told me he wasn’t asking me to come to the hospital!! He never clarified if I needed a confirmed appointment or that I could have just walked into the hospital on the day itself. He later simply told me to visit the hospital. He never listened to me properly and did as he pleased from the very beginning. I clearly called and stated a wanted an ‘appointment’, he never clarified that I didn’t require an appointment and that I could just walk in. What a disappointing level of communication and an absolute waste of my time. Never calling this hospital ever again.

              Discharge at manipal, dwarka is a nightmare. Its a bottleneck, takes very long and is manned by 1 person. Please look into this and rectify the same.

                Here, they keep patients waiting for 1.5-2 hours just for an ultrasound and all go for lunch. Myself being a pregnant lady waited for reviewing my cardiac activity without lunch. But they all will go together for lunch. Its the minimum courtesy that if one lab technician/doctor has gone for lunch, there should be another one replacing him. If being a hospital, they don't care about patients, then what can I say in this. Very very dissatisfied and disappointed

                    Hi team,

                    My grandfather admitted in manipal hospital with head injury and they have done one surgery and they asked us to pay two lakhs intially and now they created a scene like serious and all finally they told us like we have to pay 3.6 lakhs for taking the body, please consider this and take an immediate action on manipal whitefield team.

                    I have every proof that they are demanding for money in that situation we don't have option also and they called us on midnight and do this all stuff, it should not repeat it severe action should be taken against them.

                      I took appointment today with orthopedic doctor at manipal hospital goa. Since, i'm avworking lady i specially took leave from office to get the ultrasound done. But when i went for a test the lady at the counter informed me that dr charu is not available now. So i requested her to give me the appointment so that i can come to hospiatl again at the fixed time to get the tests done. But the lady at counter very rudely and cunningly answered that she don't know what time the doctor is available and hence she cannot give me the appointment for today or tomorrow or on future dates. The attitude of lady was not at all good and she was not ready to provide any solution to my problem. Infact she informed me to take out time for whole day and sit in the hospital and proceed for test as and when the doctor comes. I'm highly disappointed by the kind of service hospital is providing at the counters. We are spending so much and yet we are not getting any co operation from the staff side at hospital.

                        My mother got operated for hernia two months back at manipal hospital. We followed the rules of covid-19 testing by the hospital and paid rs 6, 600 even though the patient had no history of travelling and her vital conditions were normal. The post operation consultation was after 1 week of operation, i had consulted the doctor and the procedure of removal of stitches was performed.
                        After a month, she had suffered a back pain so we booked an appointment with the doctor who had operated her for hernia and paid rs 600/- as the doctor consultation fee. When we visited the doctor, he referred to a neurosurgeon specialist at the same hospital and asked us to pay the consultation fee once again. When asked regarding our payment, the replay was there was consultation done, which we didn't receive by the doctor. We felt being cheated by the doctors and came back. Please resolve this issue. I need the consultation with the neurosurgeon or my money should be given back.

                          I wanted to consult gastro doctor and got appointment online for dr sreenivasa d. After waiting for half an hour on computer meeting room, i disconnected as doctor was not available. Since then, its 15 days and i am asking refund for this, they have failed to do refund. Kasturi from customer care was available and she made couple of false promises after taking account details but no action.

                            My father mr. Kamal kumar roy has been provisionally diagnosed with pleural effusion with heterogenous mass in the right lung at manipal on 19th june 2020; under care of dr. Satyanarayana mysore.
                            He was asked to come and get admitted on 21st for the bronchoscopy as the doctor performs the procedure on sunday only. No immediate intervention was done on 19th june.

                            Instead of doing bronchoscopy and balon 19th they did covid test on 21st june and he was kept under isolation. Patient was prepped for bronchoscopy with early breakfast and disinfection but later informed that no intervention will be done until covid test result. Covid test turned negative on 22 june and he was shifted to general ward. Today on 23rd june morning he was informed that even today they won’t do bronchoscopy and instead tomorrow they will be doing.

                            My father is retired army personnel with echs insurance, he has massive pleural effusion and his shortness of breath is worsening with each day. Doctors are not responsive and not transparent with their treatment plan and timeline.

                            I request you to let me know if any other reason is their for delaying my fathers treatment as he need prompt intervention.

                            If the hospital is not equipped to handle the patient please discharge him immediately so that we could avail his treatment elsewhere.

                              Mai 6 jun 2020 ko manipal hospital dwarka me gaya tha mere pas army ka i'd card tha jo ki maine unke reception par dikhaya to unhone kaha ki aap uper counter par chale jao aapka wahi se opd slip ban jayega mai uper counter par gaya apna i'd card dikhaya lekin unhone mujhe bola ki aap cghs panel me bhi nahi aate ho aur echs panel me bhi nahi aate ho to maine puchha aisa kyun to unhone bataya ki army ka apna hospital hai mai is bat se sahmat hu lekin jab army ka hospital me abhi corona ke karan ilaj sambhav nahi ho pa raha hai maine unhe yeh bat batayi aur unhe yeh bhi bataya ki baki jagah to army ko cghs/echs panel me dekhte hai to aap kyu nahi to waha jo ek waha ke management or senior aaye unhone bola hamare yaha yeh facilities nahi hai maine unse puchha aisa kyun to unka kahana tha hamari policy. To. Kya unki policy ke mutabik defence personnel central government ke employees nahi hai. Aur ye log logo ko bewkuf samajh kar lootne ki koshish kar rahe hai. Kripya mujhe is samsya ka samadhan bataye.

                                In 2013 i was registered in manipal hospital bangalore, old airport road. Registeration id - MH[protected]. and when i came in 2014, they told me me create again new registration which is against the rule. The id number- MH[protected]

                                I. A senior and emergency incharge advanced medic from qatar. Worst gynaecology service by dr geetha anand salem. During covid 19. She hasnit scanned my wife during third trimester for 40 days. Every time she asks us not to come to hospital whenever we message her or call her. We had made mistake by coming to manipal, i didnt agree with my wife as she told that this doctor is very bad in treating us. She is an high risk patient. Previos preeclampsia. She is not caring of scanning every 15 days she spend 2 to 3 minutes when ever we visit her. We tried asking her many times. But she said no. We lost our second child in uterus. We called her many times and asked her to come early and attend her. Wife came to hospital at 7. 00 am 3 weeks before. And gynaecologist came at 11 am. And she is bleeding very much. We intimated her at 5 am 6 am and atlast 7 am that we called her at 7 am she put my call at blocking mode. Wife is stuggling for her life and lost almost her blood. We had to search for blood. Many times. She had gone hysterectomy due to late surgery after mid noon. Because of late late late and late surgery. I expect transparent about it and update me. If not i am going to file a legal complaint against her for not attending my wife earlier. Negligence in scanning to ima and court of justice and so others. I have evidence in her negligence. If not proper response from your side i will login the complaint. Thank u

                                  I was admitted in manipal hospital, airport road on 26th march, 2020 at 12pm for patch in the lung and since i was coughing that day i was advised to be admitted in isolation ward. There was no covid test taken on the first day and after 5 days when i had completely recovered from cough and fever they took blood samples on 29th march, 2020 for covid test and report came on 30th march, 2020 which was negative.

                                  I was discharged on 31st march, 2020 but unfortunately the kits (Sterile ppe kit) used for treating of covid patients was charged to me amounting to 1.25 lacs when i was never a covid suspect case.

                                  I feel the amount charged for the kits used for covid patients is billed wrongly to me.

                                  Request you to look into the matter.

                                    The mentioned doctor didn't attend to me properly and instead of giving me medicine for thyroid suggested me to go for a himalayan product which is still undergoing trial. He assured me that the product would be free of cost to me and i just have to provide feedback for the same. He handed me his personal number and said that if i enrolled he would personally contact me for the same and provide me the medicine.
                                    We approach to manipal hospital jaipur for treatment, doctor had advised sonography we have deposited the amount and token number given to me for sonography but hospital has refused for sonography due not physical aadhar not presented by me but submitted soft copy of aadhar which is download from uid site and also present in digilocker.
