The patient has low blood level and we admitted him into emergency ward. Patient had developed ulcer and due to which blood was leaking in small intestines and it is a known issue and had been admitted into Hyd Global hospitals (in the past) for endoscopy. The only issue the patient faces when blood level drops is that he will feel weakness. Apart from that he will be alright.
This time we admitted into Manipal Hospital, white field branch. They simply put him in to ICU stating that he had some LUNG issue (water in Lungs) and mentioned that Capsule endoscopy will be done next day. Next day,
they say the machinery is NOT available with them and we need to wait for 3 days (with patient in ICU) and they need to get it from 3rd Party.
We wanted to take the patient different hospital and asked for discharge.
They say that they CANNOT discharge patient as the patient is on Oxygen ( mentioning that we may need to arrange Helicopter to take him to home/different hospital).
The patient is 100% fine and is talking to us and could get out of his bed and walking also in the ICU. Was this information helpful? |
