Dear Team,
This is a customer of your "Saffola Honey Active 100% Pure No sugar" Honey of 1 kg.

Saffola was a brand which we trusted blindfoldedly, but this time, its very sad to see distinct sugar crystals settled below the jar as well as at the walls of the jar.

The jar cost me around 400 Rupees which is not less money and for which I must be getting a genuine product. But, this eye washing by your company is forcing me to complaint against you. Please don't deceive customers like that.

I can only give evidence by clipping photographs, please go through it.

Being badly dissatisfied and for bluffing your consumer, I am forced to move to the Consumer Forum, to claim my Rights and ask for compensation, because its only through the legal rightful means I can get justice.

You know, my Father is Diabetic but believes in your honey and regularly consume so. Think of the effect he can have when eating such sugar adulterated honey. You are not only bluffing to earn profits but also rigorously pushing towards serious health problems which is again violation of Fundamental Rights (Article 21).

Very disappointed truly.

Dear Saffola life /Saffola gold Customer Service Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a significant quality issue with a recent purchase of Saffola gold 5Ltrs edible oil, which I bought from Vipin Store & Bakers, Krishna complex, chakkarpur, Gurgaon purchased on 21/09/23

Upon opening the container, I immediately noticed a strong and unpleasant odor coming from the oil, and the oil appeared to have an unusual color and consistency. When I attempted to use it in my cooking, the results were disappointing, as it imparted a strange taste to the food. This is certainly not the quality I have come to expect from safola Oil Company.

I am deeply concerned about the potential health implications o[censored]sing this oil, and I cannot continue to use it in my cooking. I have always trusted your brand for its quality, and this experience has left me disappointed and worried.

I kindly request the following actions to address this issue:

    1. Replacement: I request an immediate replacement of the safola gold edible oil, which is of the same batch as the one I purchased, and is free from any quality issues.

    2. Investigation: I urge your quality control team to thoroughly investigate the batch in question to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future and to maintain the trust of your loyal customers.

    3. Refund: If a replacement is not possible or if this issue persists, I kindly request a refund for the purchase price of the oil.

To facilitate this process, I have attached a copy of the receipt as proof of purchase. Please let me know the steps I need to follow for the replacement or refund process, as well as any other information you may require from me.

I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and your commitment to maintaining the high quality standards that your brand is known for. I trust that you will take this matter seriously and resolve it promptly.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
    Sincerely,

I purchased the peanut butters - both crunchy and smooth.

The issue is with the consistency as it becomes runny when kept out, thus being infeasible to spread on bread.
If refrigerated it hardens so much so it tears the bread slice.

The crunchy variant has a rougher texture than its Kissan counterpart and feels sticky on consumption.

          Dear Mr. K N Rajan,

At the outset, we would like to thank you for being a Marico consumer. We also appreciate that you have taken time to connect with us on our product Saffola Honey.

This is with reference to your mail & images shared by you, we would like to inform you that Saffola Honey pack purchased by you is 100% pure, free from added sugars & free from any form of adulteration.

Honey is a natural product and is supersaturated solution of glucose, fructose etc. Crystallization of honey is a natural phenomenon and is an indicator of purity of honey. During crystallization, the glucose in honey precipitates out and this appears to be solidified or like crystals as noticed by you. Different varieties of honey will crystallize at different rates, and a few not at all. We assure you that Saffola Honey is pure, even if it crystallizes and it is completely safe to consume.

The crystallization aspect has also been clearly declared on the Saffola pack label. The crystallized honey can be liquefied by simply placing the honey jar with the cap open, into warm to hot water or placing it under the sun light with continuous stirring until the crystals completely dissolve.

This natural phenomenon of honey crystallization and facts on it has been published in several scientific research papers, articles and websites such as National Honey Board.
You can read more about it here: https://honey.com/faq (Refer Honey Appearance) & click https://youtu.be/pVDJu6TUkNY to discover the truth about crystallization of honey.

As per Food Safety and Standard Authority of India, the consistency of honey can be fluid, viscous or partly to entirely crystallized. Pl refer the following screen shot published by FSSAI; which states that Crystallisation of honey is natural phenomenon. Crystallised honey is not necessarily ‘Adulterated’ or ‘Spoiled’.

Every batch of Saffola Honey is tested using NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) technology, which is one of the most advanced tests in the world, in the best in class international laboratories to ensure that it is 100% pure, free from added sugars and any form of adulteration. Saffola Honey is compliant with all the quality parameters mandated by FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India).

Hope this addresses your query. In case you need any further clarification, please share your contact number at [protected]@marico.com & let us know an appropriate time between 9 am – 6 pm to enable us to get in touch with you.
We look forward to your continued support

                      Dear Keti Solanki,

At the outset, we would like to thank you for being a Marico consumer. We also appreciate that you have taken time to connect with us on our product Saffola Honey.

Saffola Honey is 100% pure, free from added sugars & free from any form of adulteration. Saffola Honey is pure, even if it crystallizes and it is completely safe to consume. The crystallization aspect has also been clearly declared on the Saffola pack label.

Recently I have purchased two suffola honey 1kg bottles from reliance jio mart (batch number K51, PKD on 09OCT2021). after using 3/4 of the first bottle whole family suffering with savior cough. As a doubt I have checked the honey bottle and noticed its completely sugar syrup. Yes the bottle is filled with complete sugar syrup. I am using honey from last 15 years I can easily identify. I have kept both the suffola honey bottles with me. I need to escalate this to suffola managment.

I have bought Saffola honey some time ago, for winters as it mentions 100% honey .Attached is its condition. Currently it is showing hard sugar deposit in it and I am really not sure how bad it would be for health.
                          Disappointed with the purchase.

                          Dear Sir,

At the outset, we would like to thank you for being a Marico consumer. We also appreciate that you have taken time to connect with us on our product Saffola Honey.

This is with reference to your query & image shared by you, we would like to inform you that Saffola Honey pack purchased by you is 100% pure, free from added sugars & free from any form of adulteration.

Honey is a natural product and is supersaturated solution of glucose, fructose etc. Crystallization of honey is a natural phenomenon and is an indicator of purity of honey. During crystallization, the glucose in honey precipitates out and this appears to be solidified or like crystals as noticed by you.

Every batch of Saffola Honey is tested using NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) technology, which is one of the most advanced tests in the world, in the best in class international laboratories to ensure that it is 100% pure, free from added sugars and any form of adulteration. Saffola Honey is also compliant with all the quality parameters mandated by FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India). We will be glad to share with you the Certificate of Purity of this batch.

Hope this addresses your query. In case you need any further clarification, please share your contact number at [protected]@marico.com & let us know an appropriate time between 9 am – 6 pm to enable us to get in touch with you.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,
Few months before I was received Saffola Honey bottle for free for some item purchase. Unfortunately, I am not recollecting for which item purchase I received it.
As per advertisement and information on honey bottle packing, the honey bottle should contain pure natural honey i.e., 100%. where as after some months o[censored]sed, I could see sugar particles in the honey bottle. As per my knowledge natural honey doesn't emit sugar particles. That means this honey is not natural honey and company claiming that 100% natural as per my understanding from the advertisement and information on packing.

I could see the sentence with * mark that "CONTAINS NATURALLY OCCURRING SUGARS". I don't know about this

I am confused with naturally occurring sugar and 100% pure natural honey.

If it is not 100% pure natural honey, please mention same on advertisement and packing.

Here I attaching all reference images.
                                    Thanks and Regards,

                                    Dear Eranna Kybarshi,

Even if Honey crystallizes, it is completely safe to consume.

The crystallization aspect has also been clearly declared on the Saffola pack label. The crystallized honey can be liquefied by simply placing the honey jar into warm to hot water or placing it under the sun light until the crystals completely dissolve.

In case you need any further clarification, please share your contact number at [protected]@marico.com and an appropriate time between 9 am – 6 pm to enable us to get in touch with you.
