A wallpaper was selected from Marshall wallpaper and they came with the catalogue and i selected the best quality one whcih is around 3500 per pcs. The chosen wall paper was applied, but, began to peel off in many places and corners. Upon informing the company they re-applied the paper in places where there was peeling. Strangely, there was re-peeling of the paper nd this time the company claimed they will affix the paper with stronger glue having greater strength. Wallpaper was largely stable but, began mildly peeling in some parts. Treating this as normal the issue was ignored. In the last few weeks another problem - within less than a year of application - has cropped up. its almost a ayear and person has already came twice to fix the wall paper.. i want it to be removed and fix it again

    Fixing of wallpaper in a pathetic condition
    Lines can be seen highly seen between wallpapers very badly joint.. very untidy work.. waste of money.. after numerous complaints, just once a person visited and after that no response from there team..
    Never ever buying from them.. pasting also coming out... it happened within 2 months of installation..

        They constantly gaslight you, this place is a SCAM. They sell Indian wallpapers claiming they are “Belgium” only their own in-house Indian papers have Generic names and series like Admiral & Inspire séries 1-6. Secondly I have wallpapers from NGC (made in USA) and none of them developed pink stains, these people won’t deliver any wallpaper to you and waste time so that 2 months would lapse...

        The worst service, please do not visit this place.I had placed an order for window blinds .They took the order after we select the colour of the blind, then when I follow up with them they say, colour is not available select another colour. I then selected another colour . It was delivered after 3 months, when they fixed, it was not working. They take it back. Then no follow up for 4 months, so approached them requesting what happened .Marshalls...

          Had paid an advance to Marshalls, Andheri West for an installation. The balance amount they said they would refund fully after a year. This was in April 2019 when we had paid Rs.60, 000/-.
          April 2020- they started giving us excuses like the accounting staff and officewas not working because of Covid. Even after continoous emails and phone calls and promoses to start paying back in installments, they are yet to return our money back, It's not a small sum for the middle class and its already been 2 years!

            I was informed by Marshalls Wallpaper Andheri Store (+[protected] to pay 100% advance of Rs. 5, 928/- for fixing of wallpaper in my house. Before I made the 100% advance payment, I had asked then to confirm the availability of the same so as to not have issues later on.

            After been given the assurance that the material is available, I made the payment of Rs. 5, 928/- through IMPS on Friday, Feb 19, 2020. I was then told...

            Last month we had put wallpaper on our wardrobe through Marshall's but within a week it started peeling off. After lodging a complaint and several follow-ups a technician came and fixed it, but again within a week it started peeling off badly at multiple places. I have now lost faith in your product and service completely and therefore want a refund immediately.

                Had deposited money in Marshalls Worli curtain store under VAO scheme which is fully refundable according to their own policies if not used. When we asked for refund, we were given only half of the money back. We found that Vile Parle Marshalls wall covering department mishandled the refund and unethically used the above money as refund for "not as expected" product. This violates their own internal policy of transferring funds between departments. Now calls and emails to employees and management going unanswered - cannot believe that a company like Marshalls would stoop so low for such a small amount and are unable to sort out this when all evidence is given that the issue is from Marshalls end.
                Very unethical behavior done by Marshalls employees in not refunding our money.

                    Post installation, wall paper started coming out from most of the walls and post complaint, the problem was not resolved inspite of regular followup with customer service. The company does not care for customer complaints. I would recommend not to use marshall wall paper products as this is cheater company supply indian wall paper products under imported label. This company should be banned for cheating.

                      Hi most horrible service at marshall's! Do not reccomemd marshall's to anyone. They cancelled our application appointment last minute stating that it was some emergency at the workers house. Marshal is a big organization and i'm sure they have many workers to execute the wall papaer application.

                      Horrible post sales service as well. The wallpaper has been applied with visible gaps between the rolls. It is a black wallpaper and the gap lines can be clearly seen. Also the design is supposed to be horizontal lines but they have been put in a slant manner. Both these things were pointed out to the workers at the time of application but they refused to listen or correct it.

                      When we told our relationship manager, she sent someone over who was just arguing with us about how what they have done is correct and we will have to bear the cost incase we want a neater job done!!

                      This is extremely unprofessional and unexpected from marshalls. Need an immediate resolution to my issue.

                        Hi,

                        On june 8th i had visited the borivali branch of your stores and was served by minakshi. I placed my order for a wallpaper that i was informed needed to be imported and hence would take 15 days from the day a guy would visit my home to take the measurements of the area. I was in my 8th month of pregnancy and asked her to assure me that it would be maximum 15 days and no more as i don't have time in hand consider i could be due to have my baby anytime in my 9th month. She assured me and placed my order.

                        A few days later, on june 13th, i was visited by avtar who checked the dimensions and took an 80% advance cheque of inr 22000. He seemed trustworthy and confident and hence he assured me that the work should be completed by the 28th on july. However, he calls me up on the 28th, informing me that it will take more time and the wallpaper is expected only around july 3rd. I am in my 9th month of pregnancy now, and the sole purpose of getting the wallpaper work done was to prepare my room for when my baby arrives which i made very clear at the start.

                        I told avtar that i need the work to start by the 1st of july because otherwise i don't know if i'll be home later or if anyone would be home to see them complete my work. Today, july 1st, i call the store but can't get through, so i call avtar, and he says he has no idea about the status and will check with the store.

                        Am i expected to keep running after you guys in my 9th month of pregnancy? I chose marshall's as i was informed that it is a reliable brand, but my experience says otherwise. The money is withdrawn with no update on when the work can be done, with a baby that can come anytime. If this is not resolved immediately, i am going to lodge a complaint for fraud.

                        I am amazed at the false information provided time and again.

                        Also, Yesterday, July 4th, I was informed by Avtar that the wallpaper has come and the work will start today. Today, I have been called by the head office and have been informed that the workers will put up only what they always had, and don't have the main wallpaper still.

                        I had to suggest providing other options that I can get done today, after which they sent over the brochures, however, anything else I like was still not available. So I have no other option than to wait until the 10th atleast as of what has been again told to me.

                        This business with Marshall's Wallpaper has been extremely poor, and has angered me to the extreme. I am very disappointed with everything I have had to bear up with.

                          I visited borivali branch on 18th may 2019. There i met mr. Aniket.
                          I asked him to show me wallpapers and asked him for discount. He said no discount is applicable because my total amount was only 15000.
                          I shortlisted few wallpaper and asked him to take the measurements so that i could come to know the exact bill amount.
                          He came over and took measurements.
                          I selected a roll which turned out to be worth 2500 per roll and the total usage was that of 10 rolls.
                          The bill amount would come upto 25000 now.
                          Later he said his mother expired and some miss minakshi from borivali branch messaged me.
                          Surprisingly she gave a fresh quote for the same roll as 2478, so that my bill amount will become less than 25000.
                          I have the written documents where i have got the quotes of the wallpapers that i had selected with mr. Aniket.
                          If this was the intention of the disgusting staff hired by you at the borivali outlet, then i should have been informed earlier so that i wouldnt land up wasting our precious time and efforts.
                          I was a regular customer and certainly did not expect this kind of cheating from such a reputed company. Disgraceful staff.

Cust. Support or showroom is not responding for refunding my amount. Mentioning role was larger size & its not their mistake. They were supposed to visit my place to validate the fixing and again measure the same wall. No one has turned up.

                            I have visited your Mumbai, Bandra west, Pali hill showroom . I communictaed this to Mr. Imran and Mr. Rahim at the showroom. They promised they will get back to me. My cheque for INR 15, 000/- has been debited which I paid in advance to the showroom. I also contacted Marshalls customer support. They connected me to Ms. Harshala from the Mumbai, Worli showroom. She promised that someone will visit my home today - 24th Dec 2018 and again check the measurement to validate how 2 rolls were provided to me instead of 1 roll. The showroom staff and Marshalls company staff visited my home before installation and both verified 2 rolls were required and hence I paid for 2 rolls in advance. Now only 1 roll is utilized. 2nd roll is packed and with me and is not opened.

                            As discussed, we have investigated the issue and found that your site measurement was approximately of 71 sq ft, which needs 2 regular size rolls (58 sqft roll) to complete the work but material sent to your site was 2 rolls of 76 sq ft size each. Hence work got completed in single roll.

                            We have discussed the matter with showroom, you can coordinate with Mr. Rahim (Bandra Showroom) for the same and return back 1 roll which is not utilized and is kept intact (with proper packing) with you, once material is returned showroom will refund the balance amount to you immediately.

                            Hope your issue is addressed and is resolved.

                            I got my refund. Many thanks to the showroom, Mr Rahim & Marshalls & this forum..
                            After installation, within one months time, the papar started coming out and this has happened twice . Looks like Marshall is cheating with supplying cheap quality paper under brand of " Imported Paper " and poor quality of installation.
                            I would not recommend Marshall Wallpaper to any one.

                              Hi all

                              Marshalls banglore jayanagar office one of the most unprofessional organisation i have come across in my life.
                              The money was committed for my 3 bed room house wallpaper and flooring, 100% in advance. The money was committed around 5 months ago in this year.
                              They started work in my place from 5th september. This was committment to dfinish work by 11th of september. Not completed at all. Second false committment finishing by 18th of september not fullfilled. Third committment will be resolved by 25th of september.
                              Work is still not finished till 29th of september.
                              They don't have dedicated wall paper staff, not floor staff.
                              Its a money minting machine.
                              They took lacs in advance. Then there person mr rajesh so called sales guy keep taking rs 50000 and 30000, up and above for skirting and priming on walls.
                              Two people mr rajesh and mr maruti just want to mint money only.
                              They don't fullfill any committments.
                              My full house is still in messy situation from last one month. I don't know what to do???
                              We tried sending mails to director mr pratap, chairperson, all the possible big heads but no one is moving.
                              After committing huge amount, time i have got incomplete pathetic job.
                              The walls which have wallpaper done is coming off now only after few days passed.

                              I want the matter to be resolved and logically they should pay compensation for my pain.
                              One month wasted.
                              My work suffered, my husbands work suffered.
                              My whole house is unsettled.
                              My kids exam time its suffering.

                              My mental stress has led me to severe sleep problems, my worklife and personal life suffering badly.

                              Marshalls is a trusted brand since 1975 and we are specialist in our product line.

                              We have taken your complaint seriously and have investigated the same at our level to understand the issue.

                              Upon our investigation we found that major portion of around 70 rolls of wallpaper fixing with Spot POP (Wall Surface Preparation) and Vinyl flooring work has been completed. There are now only some minor touch up work to be done.

                              Images attached in your complaint are old and new site condition as on date is totally different from the once which are shown in your attached images.

                              I am hereby attaching the latest images of your site for reference.

                                Extremely unprofessional service. Firstly, the installer came without a ladder to install the wallpaper - which seems like it should be a basic piece of equipment to carry to paste wallpaper.
                                Secondly, because of shoddy installation, the wallpaper fell off with parts of the wall, which the company wasn't bothered to fix. They were finally able to send someone 5 days after the initial call (And many, many repeated ones), after more damage to the paint job and wall was incurred, which the company took no responsibility for.
                                After they sent a 'senior engineer', the wallpaper is now fine, which leads me to believe that a high number of the installers are hacks and have no idea how to do their jobs.
                                Customer care of the company is beyond poor and i sincerely hope that others think twice before opting for marshalls.

                                Greetings from Marshalls.

                                Marshalls is a wallpaper specialist company with 100+ plus trained and screened technicians in our payroll, which ensures the safety factor for all our esteemed clients, which is missing with any other wallpaper company.

                                Please note that carrying a ladder from our Mahim office is not that easy, we have to book a Tempo to carry ladder which adds additional transportation cost because it cannot be carried in a taxi.

                                In normal practice client has to provide ladder at site, if client is unable to arrange ladder at site then they may request us to carry ladder which would be charged against Transportation from Mahim to site via Tempo, only upon confirmation of client Ladder is carried from Marshalls office to clients site.

                                We also provide 1 year composite warranty of wallpaper installed, later after warranty we provide AMC facilities too, since we are confident of our product and installation expertise.

                                Being a wallpaper expert we are responsible for wallpaper related issues and not paint related issues on the wall, which you yourself have witnessed in your case too i.e. wallpaper issues were attended in a professional manner under the supervision of our Sr. Technical Head.

                                We have installed Marshall wall papers in our residence at Sion about 2-3 years back, now the wall paper has started coming off from the joints at several places, kindly depute your representative to look and fix the problem at an earliest .

                                  We had purchased two different wallpapers for two of our walls. Firstly, we fail to understand how the measurement estimate of marshall employee could go so wrong which resulted in at least 4 rolls being left partially used. Secondly, our calls to marshalls powai are not being answered for fixing the remaining paper. We have been given at least 3 slots till now on different dates when we were told that their people are coming, but no body has turned up so far.
