Maruti Insurance — Misleading info from maruti insurance causing harassment | |||
Dear sir Myself own a maruti ciaz hr03s1648, bought form tricity zirakpur, punjab, bought in 2015. Insurance of the car was due on 03-05-16 and a renewal notice of rs 18275/- was received from maruti insurance. I took a insurance claim of my car in last week of april 2016 from autovogue panchkula, haryana where i met their insurance manager. The insurance manager, mr vikrant after knowing renewal of my insurance policy, offered cash discount of rs 500/- and alignment, balancing, washing coupens (If i get my car insured from there). I was happy to receive these coupens and planned to get my car insured from autovogue (Autovogue is just 1 km away from my house) I told the tricity dealership guy that as tricity is almost 15 km away from my house and also i am getting few good offers from autovogue. I will get my car insured from autovogue.. On the last day when i asked autovogue to get my car insured as promised, the insurance manager simply rejected all the promises he made and simply told to pay rs 18275/- if i want my car to get insured from them. That was simply not acceptable as it was last day and i had already denied to tricity dealer. It caused a lot of harrassment and disappointment for me as i was not having any other choice but to choose tricity dealer, which is 15 km away from house. I request you to pls look into the matter and instruct dealers to stop making any false promises to the customers Regards Was this information helpful? | |||
