I visited maruti service centre, dd motors at mayapuri, delhi on[protected] to replace power window assembly (Driver side) for my zen estilo vxi 2007 model. I had been informed that the part is not available. I have to deposit money in advance and then dd motors will arrange the part and then will inform me tomorrow. I deposited rs.1000/-accordingly with a kaccha receipt (Scanned copy is attached).
Next day on[protected], i called sh. Som of dd motors on the given number [protected] at 11:30 am and i had been informed that the part has not come yet and they will inform me as soon as it comes. But when i did not receive any call from dd motors the whole day, i called them at around 5:00 pm to know the status. I had been informed that the part is available now and i can come to get it replaced next day.
Next day, on[protected], i called on the same number just to confirm again, but mobile was not picked up by any one. Ultimately i went to dd motors at 12:00 noon. I waited in the queue, got the job card for the work and again start waiting for my turn. After half an hour, i had been informed that the part is still not available. When i told them that it is not fair and i will make a complaint of this incident, the concerned staff, sh. Balwinder singh snatched the job card from me. On my repeatedly asking why he is doing so and to give me back the customer’s copy of job card, he refused to do so and misbehaved with me. He also insisted me to lodge the complaint. Then i went to the general manager (Services), sh. P s rayat and discussed the incident with him. He was already aware of the scene and he promised me to get the part replaced the same day on[protected]. I had no choice as i had already paid rs.1000/- in advance. I came back home as this would take uncertain time.
Next day, on[protected], i went again to dd motors after confirming over mobile and at last got the part replaced with all hassles. But whatever happened with me can not be ignored. Kindly let me know the following.
1) why a reputed maruti serive centre like dd motors needs to get an advance amount deposited from the customer for bringing the spare part to the work shop? If it is under rules and regulations then why did not a proper receipt provided to me?
2) when the part was not available with dd motors then why the person confirmed me to come and get it replaced?
3) why the job card was snatched from me in offensive manner as if the job card was not made? What was the benefit of staff sh. Balwinder singh in harassing the customer (Me) and creating nuisance doing so? Any one can go and confirm the copy of job card with dd motors issued at around 12:15 pm having power window for rs.1350/- on[protected].
4) who will pay the amount of petrol wasted unnecessarily in coming 15 km twice and back? Approximately rs.400/-?
5) who will refund my valuable time (3 half days) wasted in the above incident in getting a very small job done which can not be measured? Say approximately rs.5000/-?
6) who will compensate the mental torture suffered by me, the harassment given to me by the staff of dd motors? Say approximately rs.15000/-?
Of course, this would be my last time to visit dd motors and in turn last purchase from maruti along with my close relatives and friends. Every one has learnt a lesson from this incident. We should always go for the product where after sales services are satisfactory and not like maruti dealers and service centres specially when there are number of other brands available in the market.
