I wish to bring to your kind notice that I own a Maruti swift car bearing registration number TN: 20 AP: 0943, I get my car serviced regularly by Maruti Service Masters (MSM), Chennai. The service at MSM, Chennai is very disappointing.

My major complaint was noise in the right suspension, he informed me over phone that the suspension is damaged and it has to be replace and the cost for the same is around Rs.15, 000, I was shocked to hear this, because this complaint was launched by me on 31.05.2010 to Maruti about the negligence of MSM, Chennai and after company’s intervention they have informed me that the complete set of suspension is changed and the problem is rectified. (During that period my vehicle was in extended warranty). Now Mr. Suresh, service Advisor said that they have not replaced the complete set of suspension, they have only replaced the link rods, which a part of suspension. Now he is informing that I have to replace the complete set to rectify the problem and it will cost around Rs.15000.00

I am really upset the way the maruti service stations cheat us technically during the warranty period and making us to spend after expiry of warranty.

    i own a wagon R - HR 03 F 4488 which i usually get serviced and repaired at Berkeley Chandigarh. My experience during my last 3/4 visits has been very bad. i was just ignoring the casual approach of the staff. But on saturday, 23.04.11, it crossed all limits and ignoring the casual behaviour of the staff for many a time cost me very dearly.

    i gave my car for lower body noise (the costly part was changed and charged) and breaking noise which should have been corrected during my earlier visits.

    Concerns:

    1. Wheel caps of front wheels were not cleaned after repair, these were extremely dirty.
    2. There have been 2 types of mats in my car - black one and transparent one. 2 Black ones were torn and moreover, mats were not kept in proper fashion during back delivery of the car.
    3. Why the costly part for lower body noise was not replaced during earlier visits?
    4. Breaking noise still exists.

    Is the customer supposed to tell Berkeley staff how to behave and what precautions shall be taken before back delivery?

    Is there someone in MUL who can take care of such authorized dealer centers?

    There is lot of anguish, pls stop deterioration.

    with reference to the above said vehicle first service requirement, I have contact with car Rohan Workshop, Sec-1, Noida, But we are not happy in your company services. Rohan Motors Workshop Staff behavior are not good for custmor relationship.

    I am using maruti swift for the past 4 yrs. Reg no is TN 74 V 8474. The vehicle is under the name of Mr.Alagesan.
    Met with an accident on 23/6/2010.
    our nearest major workshop company is at kanyakumari A.R.A.S .
    They lifted the vehicle the same night for repair.
    But I am sorry to tell that they haven't returned our car yet.
    They promised to give in 3 weeks time. Now it is almost 6 weeks over.
    we are very unhappy about the service center.
    My wife who is also a doctor is travelling by bus because of your delay.
    I request you to cancel our insurance and return our car.
    We are planning to buy a new car, definitely not a maruti any more.
    THIS IS QUITE A NATURAL WAT THAE THE MUL BEHAVES AND IT IS A QUITE PHENOMENON THAT WE FOOLISH PEOPLE STILL FEELS PROUD TO HAVE A MARUTI BASED CAR AS JUST BECUSE OF ITS FUEL EFFICIENCY AND LOW MAINTAINENCE COST.

    ANY WAY CUSTOMER WILL REALIZE THIS VERY SOON AND COME HARD ON THEM, THEN THEY CAN REALISE IT.
    On 9th August 2011 the car tyre was punctured while travelling on the highway and after repair the tyre was found to be damaged...I feel it was due to quality issue and I was told by the supplier-APPOLO Tyres through the dealer the tyre cannot be replaced. I do agree while purchase the tyres was not under guarantee...Can you please advise on the following

    •What is the purpose of having tubeless tyre - ( After puncture also it has to steady on road. Yes there are many advantages like safety, reliability, better ride and handling and improved mileage) )- blow outs and high speed air loss is extremely rare and the vehicle cannot loss control and lead to better safety.
    •Do you agree that a tubeless tyre is not warranteed... where less than 3000km run...If your answer is yes than I need to reject all the tyres due to their poor performance and expect Maruthi-Suzuki need to give a perfect answer.
    •Is it possible to confirm the tyres particularly in my car all went for quality checks -I need the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for these tyres and their quality report with identification numbers.
    My conclusion the quality check of this tyre was not done properly. Once the tyre punctured while the car is running the impact force will damage the portion where the puncture has happened and not on a different location the tyre can bulge like a ball. When an object pierces the tyre, there is no tube to burst and the valve does not move out of the rim hole as it is fixed there, thus air cannot escape through the hole, the only passge for the air is past the object...but the construction of a tubeless tyre mostly enables the rubber to hold the object tight & air loss If any also extremely slow. In my case the bubble was seen in other place and the reason was given due to puncture ride...which I cannot accept..
    I believe in your product and espect a prompt service - I got excellent service from my dealer Pillai & sons- Thanjavur and I take this oppurtunity to thank them for their effort. (FYI - I am driving different vehicles with tubeles tyres for the past 17 years in south east asia and I never ever come across these type of problem...recently I was in India and I believe the road conditions especially the high ways are almost equal to foreign highways)

        I have a Swift Dzire vdi vehicle.I purchased it on 27/9/2010 from A.M Motors Malappuram branch.
        There is a critical issue with this car.
        With in 8000 km i noticed that my car's rear tyres are Wear-off at side.
        Then i told this problem to the service department.
        After checking they told me that my car's axle was damaged and it want to be change.
        They also told that,the axle was not included in warranty , axle can be changed with the claim of insurance, and tyres will not be replaced
        Now i request to replace my tyres

          sir, I have Purchased My Car SX-4, from PL.A. Motors trichy, in 11.02.2008 (11 th February 2008), because of my affinity towards Maruti Motors, for quite some time. However, My Car has underwent continuous problems for the past 3 years
          2. My Car, has developed Engine overheat problem at 7,500 km, which has been detected as Damaged Radiator and Fan and replaced under Warranty. I have been assured by PL.A. Motors trichy that , no such problem will occur in the future.
          3. After 10 days of time, the same heating problem occurred and detected as Engine Gasket issue which is again changed under warranty. By the time, I have also met Mr Selvakumar, Territory service manager, who has also assured me that there won’t be any such problems in future.i asked for an engine change which was laughed at and stubbornly refused.
          4. Same problem, reoccurred on 20.11.10 at the Milage of 32,000 km ( same Engine overheating ) Gasket changed & Engine Head was resurfaced within the extended warranty period. But the Engine Head is not changed even after request from my side.the car was with pla motors for 20 days and was thoroughly(?) studied.after waiting for a long period I shot an email to maruti(dated 11/09/2010),after which the repair was speeded up and the car was repaired hurriedly.the service personnel mr.nagaraj promised me that all is well(including the head and the ring etc., etc.,
          5. Finally on 15.04.11, the same problem occurred when I was travelling to attend an important case, needless to mention, I am a Physician working in Government Medical College Hospital in Trichy, which has been turned out as a night mare for me, since I couldn’t perform my duty in emergencies, because of this continuous Car issues.
          6. Now the extended warranty period is also completed and I have been asked to change parts at my cost, by PL.A. Motors, which is not only a surprise but also a shock for me, since I believed Maruti Cars are supposed to be the World’s best one’s in angles.
          My question to maruti and its authorised service station pla motors trichy, are
          1) The basic function of an engine is not to get heated up,which this car was not able to do so
          2) All the problems started because of the defective manufacture of the radiator fan and radiator which was replaced under warranty.
          3) What happened to the promise made by the TSM mr.selvakumar that all was well
          4) Did the maruti and their authorised service centre were merely postponing the inevitable engine change till the extended warranty expired.
          5) This sick vehicle has been in and out of maruti authorised service station 17 times in 3 yrs,roughly once in two months,and the problem has not been sorted out which shows their inefficient service
          6) Not to mention,this vehicle was serviced every 5000kms at authorised service centre,never even touched 120kms/h in odometer,has clocked only 37000 kms in 3 yrs i.,e roughly 33 kms /day,and was driven only by me.
          the car was not roughly treated can be ascertained from the state of the factory fitted tyres.
          At this juncture, i pray your office, to insist the MARUTI INDIA LTD and their authorised dealer PLA MOTORS TRICHY to handover a New Vehicle and also pay all the cost of service along with interest, which I have given to PL.A. Motors for the past 3 years.

          I was going to book a new SX4 diesel in a few weeks. Now thanks to you, i'll move over to linea and advise my friends the same. These people cannot take customers for granted. I will definitely spread the word with my friends.

              Before coming to my complaint about non receipt of registration certificate/ smart card , from your dealer , after 5 months of my purchase of an SX4 / CNG/Vxi vehiche , I would like to point out a few more things which speaks about your debilitating customer care practices .

              I have purchased a Maruti SX4/CNG/Vxi in dec2010 . Apart from the fact that your dealer has not given me the resigtration certificate yet , I am very surprised that till date there has been no attempt from your company to directly get in touch with me to find out how the product is performing .

              I remember last time when I had purchased a zen , there were Regular letters / surveys/calls directly from the company , for more than a year , to find out from the customer about the vehicle,s performance & customer satisfaction . It seems you have abandoned those practices , with your increased business & market capture. Hope you have not left it to your dealers , who are not doing much in this matter any more .

              now comming to my complain ..... the details of vehicle which i have purchased is given below

              I had purchased a Marti SX4 Vxi cng/MARUTI SX4 GREEN from M/S Vipul Motors Gurgaon , Haryana outlet in December 2010 . The details of the purchase/vehicle is given as under

                Hi,
                I have recieived a job offer from MSIL stating that i have been shortlisted for the interview to be held in Delhi on 30th April 2011. Before that i have to pay a deposit amount of 16900/- which will be refunded after the interview.

                I have not applied any job in MSIL and was surprised to hear that i am short listed I feel that sombody is trying to malign the name of MSIL. I respect MSIL as a trusted brand in the country.
                My request is that please help me to find out the source of such mails and hands behind it, they should be punished and such things should not happen in future.

                  i own maruti suzuki SX-4 car with Kenwood company fitted stereo. problem is their was no voice from stereo & i took my car to Kenwood local service center. they told me to change volume toner & charges will be 1250 Rs. reason that some water went inside. I immediately contacted Maruti service station at fbd ( Batra auto) & asked them & then they said its impossible to enter AC water inside stereo.

                  anyway we paid 1250 Rs and replaced volume toner. after changing that, still not working, they said all speakers are not working, then we replaced new Pioneer speakers immediately. now still not working & they say to change FM tuner ( only stereo working). i simply ask them why you didnt check thorougly before chrging me first time & response is that our shop is in Basement & FM doesnt work.
                  Great you have stereo service station in basement & customer will pay first because he baught maruti car second with company fitted kenwood stereo third water will go inside so easily fourth because you didnt have spare speakekers for checking stereos fifth your shop is in basement.

                  same problem occured last time when the stereo was under warranty & they charged me 1100 Rs since water went inside stereo. thanks to maruti & Kenwood for this great quatlity.

                  This is to bring to your kind notice that I, Nitin Chauhan, had purchased the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire.
                  I came to office around 11 AM and parked my car our office parking area. After office hour, when I opened my car, I noticed Music system covering glass broken state. it was obvious that nobody has opened my car during office hour. I guessed, this breakage has happened due to poor quality of glass in the music system which were broken due to heat.

                  The car is running like it is supposed to but there seems to be a manufacturing defect in the central console music system. The Music system though working fine but the glass panel inside seems to have developed cracks and is showing visible signs of damanage. The car is my secondary car and i own another Maruti Suzuki car. so i doesn't use the car much except once or twice a week.

                  Upon conducting a quick online search about similar issues, I came across multiple cases where others have faced similar issues with the music console.(Image Attached)

                  I request you to please get this issue rectified in my car as this has certainly been a manufacturing defect. I can take my car to whicever service center suggested by you to have this looked on.

                      i booked on 20th nov 2010 access 125 by paying Rs.5000. i got hte delivery in march 2011. within one month there was noise in engeen,dealer change the bearing, within two days the same noise is there, we again give access for the complain to the dealer at prahladnagar garden ahmedabad from where we purchased, the behavier of your dealer is very rough, i asked for company mail address, they refused to give .the mail address why ?.
                      i dont want want such a defective piece, pl change this defective piece. beacause of company high reputation we booked access125 and waited for such a long time for delivery.u should replace this defective piece.also guide your dealer how to behave with customer.
                      i hope you will take necessory action soon and solve my complain.
                      i dont understand how your engeeniers have ok this piece,
                      my access is with your dealer since 8th april, i m not going to take the delivery till you solve my complain, when i gave my access the petrol tank was full.

                          Please note that it was a very shocking moment to know that my vehicle was also in the list of that problematic Vehicles of connecting Rod( This news I got from Media).
                          I have immediate got the job done and replaced Connecting rod bolts on 8th April 2011 as per your requirements as I know the end result of this failure.

                          But mean the while I hereby inform you that I have lost all my confidence in the engine fitted in my vehicle as tomorrow Maruti will be intimating that the Head gasket was not of Proper thickness, Main bearing Torque was not correct, coolant was not of proper mixture etc…and in end I will be the sufferer after paying Rs 6 Lacs.

                          I hereby humbly request you to kindly arrange to prolong the warranty of this Engine.

                          I am terribly disappointed with the service that was provided as I have complained for Noise while braking in initial 1000 kms and again at 5000 Kms I had requested was not done and I got lame excuses for the same.

                          It is alarming to note that Quality of Maruti Vehicles are incapable of handling the responsibility.

                            6th feb – 11, I had also purchased Alto K10 for my father from the same dealer and again, they make
                            promise to deliver the car upto last week of Feb-11. There are several promises made by your dealer to
                            deliver the car in last week of Feb i.e. upto Holi and again in Navaratras and now, they categorically
                            felt sorry to deliver the car in Navratras. Sir I am unable to understand such type of dealings, one side
                            your dealer displays to deliver the vehicle within 12 weeks other side they are making fool of your
                            customer’s upto 24 weeks. Now I am feeling that somewhere, your dealer is cheating the customers,
                            by getting booking amount and utilizing the amount since last 6 months for his other type of business,
                            which is the first aim of the dealer. There are so many Brands available in the market which we can get,
                            but I have shown interest in getting vehicle from your company.Now one of your dealer representative ask me that he cancelled my deal as I have lodged complain in [protected]@maruti.co.in & they will not deliver me the vehicle he say you can do what soever you can . By this way, I, very much, disappointed
                            from your dealers such type of dealings , one word Sorry is not enough to fill our last 6 months waiting & now my whole family is not ready to purchase the same at any cost ,we make our mind set up to purchase other brand .                             Maruti — Non Delivery of Car

                            Dear Sir,

                            This is regarding commitment made by the dealer to deliver Maruti's swift dzire and failing to do so on an important day of marriage.
                            Dealer Raj sneh Auto India Private Ltd. committed to deliver Swift Dzire on 28th of August and failed to deliver till 4th of September also. Car was booked in july and he got the cheques banked of INR 5, 35, 000/- but no car delivered. If the car was not available at the very first place why did he took the booking and if he got the information why did he let us know on 4th of september. Necessary action to be taken.

                            Maruti Swift Dzire car — delivery not according to the said period

                            i abhijeet ashok kamble had booked a swift dezire car on 30/08/2009 in spectra motors borivali branch and had a promised from the said branch of delivery in 2 to 2.5 months.but till date i have not received the delivery of the car.i request you to look into the matter.
                            i have also undergone the same situation with the same dealer. GEM motors, hyderabad is worst in customer service..they take order with false commitments and never fulfill.

                              My Car Maruti Wagon-R LXI BS III, vehicle no. UP 70 AU 0151, chassis No. 611593 was given to your dealer Ms. Fair Deal Cars Pvt. Ltd. against job card no. JC10014058 on date:[protected] for body repair, ID no. I[protected] A/C Vandana Rawat.
                              The date for delivery was given[protected] by the service adviser, but the vehicle was deliver on date[protected] against the about dated bill.
                              I went to receive my vehicle on[protected] and came to know that the lock key along with gear lock key, were lost by the repairer.
                              I was assured that by the service adviser that the locks will be replaced by the delivery, but delivery has been given without the replacement of the locks.
                              Since then one week has passed and response of the repairer is not yet proper.
                              However my car may be stolen by the thieves of keys. The responsibility will be gone to the maruti as your dealer is not replacing the lock.
                              The vehicle is on high risk every time. please do the needful and register my complaint.

                                I, an Army officer posted in New Delhi and belonging to Chandigarh, had booked Maruti Dzire VDI car on 07 Feb 2011 with Modern Autos, Ambala, Dealer code[protected] through CSD Depot Ambala. The CSD order on Sales and Dispatch Department
                                Maruti Suzuki India Pvt ltd was placed by order dated 07 Feb 2011 and the LS No is 15583. Your reply above is neither acceptable or viable.

                                I must bring to your notice that I was promised a delivery period of 4 weeks before booking and a period of 4-7 weeks after submitting the indent. You and your sales representatives have been mostly inaccessible in the intervening period. I was always conveyed vague answers and the delivery dates were revised three times from 20 Mar to 31 Mar and finally to 05 Apr 2011. When I spoke to Mr Shekhar, the Sales Manager of Modern Autos, Ambala, on 06 Apr 2011, he gave a fresh date of 20 Apr 2011. He was not sure of this date also. I have alraedy spent close to Rs 1000/- in making visits from Chandigarh and through tele calls to your representatives and office.

                                I as a customer want to know the following:-

                                Is the process of booking, assembling and dispatch available for scrutiny?

                                How are you ensuring that the waiting list is being followed in true spirit and no out of turn allotments are being made.

                                I have paid an amount of Rs 5.89 lakhs on 07 Feb 2011 to CSD Main Account vide DD No 722921 drawn on State Bank of India, Main Branch, Ambala Cantt dated 07 Feb 2011. By lending rates of SBI, for a period of 60 days, the full payment has accrued an interest of Rs 5000/-. Who is going to account for this excess payment? Why should this interest not be refunded to me?Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has again revised the prices again and the car is going to cost me Rs 8000/- more. Why should I suffer a loss of approx Rs 13,000/-, for no fault of mine.

                                The dealer in all circumstances has to first make the payment for the booking to Maruti Suzuki India Ltd and then claim the money from CSD Depot Ambala. Why is the customer being penalised for the delay in payment from the depot?



                                Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has stated that the car is ready for delivery pending payment by the dealer.

                                Please clarify this situation and intimate the reason for this unexplainable delay. I shall await your reply till 12 April 2011, after which I shall be filing a case with the consumer court in the Capital.

                                    I, Mr. Govardhan Prakshale, owns a Maruti Suzuki, whose no is MHO4 EH5023. The car admission date being the 22nd of Dec, 2010. The sevice centre being ' Fort Point' which is located at thane.

                                    I had given my car for repairs since it met with an accident. I was told that i would get my car back in a months time, a month passed and nothing as promised was done. Mr Amar, is the one who dealt with us on these matters. If this is what your advisors are like, I am afraid, you will have to prepare yourself to lose your customers.

                                    Instead, I was delayed, and delayed to such an extent that it has been three and a half months, that my car is still lying there! Is this, what your services are like? Highly disgusted and frustrated, every time i tried to keep my cool, your service centre had another excuse to give, even after promising to give the car on the said date.

                                    Can you Please, figure out what exactly is happening and get back to me with an assurance of when i am going to get my car back. I dont want Mr. Amar to deal with us anymore.

                                    I Hope you do the needful as soon as possible and revert back to me. Its your brand, and I am sure that you would want to grow it by makin your customers happy!

                                    Fort point services are very very poor. Even the local garage workshop people do a better job than them. Maruti should put an enquiry and audit about it. They even do malpractice in car components.

                                      this is in reference to the company Maruti Suzuki. my relative received an email with a very lucrative job offer. the pre condition being payment of an amount of rs. 9200/- which would be refundable. after sending that amount and the name of the company adding to the credibility, the procedure was carried out. after the initial payment, there was a request for another rs. 13800/- for other purposes. this is when suspicion arose and my relative started making inquiries. turned out that all of this was being carried out by a fraud under the false name of the prestigious company. when the office at mumbai was approached, they said such false firms exist in delhi and the people in delhi only have been notified through newspapers. the following are some of the emails received by us. kindly look into the matter at the earliest, as not only is my relative under distress but other job hopefuls may also be duped because of it.

                                        This is to inform you that i buy wagon-R Vxi car from stan autos Private ltd ( Address G.T. road, Near sherpur chowk). ludhian. After 4-5 months tyres are srounding so much & when i compliant it to the dealer gave me a letter to change it from apollo tyres (address B/xxx/3788,Hargobindgarh Opp. Moti Nagar, delhi high way, Ludhiana). Sir, i made near about 7-8 visits to the apollo tyres techincal expert (cont person - Mr. GURMEET SINGH cont no. [protected]) every time when i visited their office they made me some new kind of excuse.
                                        Sir, i have one letter with me in which dealer (works manager -Mr. G.S.Kalsi) is admit that the tyres are defective.
                                        Sir, i have spend 4.20 lacs rs. on buying this car. But, after having problem in it the dealer & the co. people are trying to avoid to change the tyres.
                                        Sir, kindly do me a favour. & presurize the Co. to change the defective tyres.
