To Whomsoever It May Concern:

I would like to bring to your notice that on September 1, 2021, I was confirmed by Max Hair, Chennai, Nungambakkam, that I will be undergoing a Sapphire Transplant with 3000 grafts (see attached screenshot). I paid an amount of Rs. 75, 000 towards the surgery. Around September 15, 2021, I underwent the procedure.

Post-procedure, I had undergone a lot of pain and trauma to ensure that I follow post-procedure protocols. I even had to take many days leave from my office, which led to loss of pay.

Despite, following protocols, after one and a half years, I was not satisfied with the growth and coverage since still there were bald spots in the crown area. So, I went back to Max Hair for a review. During the review, after consulting with the lady doctor, it was concluded that the services provided to me was substandard since:

1. Decision of 3000 grafts was wrong - As confirmed by the lady doctor, 3000 grafts was very less for my baldness since I had baldness in the crown area and bilateral temples. As mentioned by the doctor, the bald area in my crown is a big area and 3000 is just sufficient to cover my crown area only. Why was 3000 grafts chosen when it was clearly mentioned to the concerned person that I wanted my crown area and the temples to be covered??????

2. IGM was performed instead of Sapphire - As confirmed by the lady doctor, IGM was performed instead of Sapphire. This is totally breach of agreement, as per your confirmation, Sapphire was supposed to be performed. I felt cheated.

3. Non-technical staffs involved in critical decision making - The person who decided on 3000 grafts are per Max Hair record is an administrative staff. Why should administrative person take decision on the number of grafts to be implanted? What expertise does this person have? Why is the concerned doctor not involved in the decision making? Please be noted if the doctor was involved from the very first consultation itself, then such a grave mistake of selecting lesser number of grafts would not have been made. As a matter of fact, I met the doctor only after the procedure.

4. Wrong promises being made - Since December of 2021, I have been following up with Max Hair in regards to the outcome of the surgery, constantly informing them that I am unhappy with the results, but they kept promising me that the hair will grow after few months, which was wrong information provided.

5. Not satisfied with the result - Due to the above, I am extremely disappointed with the desired output.

6. Being made to wait - Even recently, when I followed up in regards to the above, I was informed by the lady doctor that the management is looking into it and again she told me she will get back to me in one week, and when I followed up with her in a week, she told me that the management is still looking into it and she is unsure as to how long will it take for the management to take a decision.

I am attaching the proof for your review. I am extremely anguised, disappointed with the outcome of the services provided by Max Hair. If any other proofs are required, I am willing to furnish it.

I will be going ahead and filing a lawsuit against the above company due to the above.

I had fixed up hair system in max hair studio chennai about 4 months back and paid rs 50, 000 /-. At that time i was told to order for another system for rs 50, 000 /- and assured me that the amount will be refunded if i am not happy with the existing system. I went ahead and made the payment.

Now after 4 months i was really not happy with the system they gave me an option for hair transplantation and told me it will cost 1, 41, 600 and told me that since they already had rs 50, 000 of mine, i can pay a balance of rs 91, 600 /-

They had told me to take some medical tests and before that i was forced to pay on 31 st of october saying they have to fix up the doctor before i got my medical reports even though i t repeatedly told them i will pay after my medical reports..! I was assured of full refund they are not happy with the reports

Infact i had been repeatedly asking doctors name and i was told that doctors name will be revealed only after i pay the amount..!

After i got all my medical reports they were not happy with my reports and said they cant go ahead with the surgery. Now i am asking them for my refund but they say that they wont refund the system cost of rs 50, 000 and my payment of 91, 600 (Of which 40, 000 by card and 51, 600 by capital loan) will be refunded only after deduction of gst saying they have raised the bill for 40, 000/- but till date i have not recieved any bill.

Kindly help me in getting my amount of rs1, 41, 600 (40, 000+ 50, 000) from max hair studio and cancellation of my loan of rs 51, 600 from capital float

I had paid an advance of Rs. 25, 000/- more than a year ago and was told that the system would take couple of weeks to get ready. After that I got no response and now I want my money back. Pls help me to get my refund. Rgds, Rakesh Chawla

I have been cheated with this MAx Hair chennai..Person called Geetha have not given me a clear information on the product.she asked me to pay for lost hair 40K.after week recived a call saying you have recived ur system.no idea what is that system.when i went there it was suprise a WIG was waiting for me..they asked for trim my hair..finaly they shaved my hair..I used this for 6 months with no go..Finally decided to take it off..After 15 days of i removed there is no hair grown still i have lost my orgianlty and they have promised there will be normal growth no growth so far...SUE them and close the shop and save others

"Ladies Beware" Max is a company which cheats thier customers and drains the money out of them.They r not specialized in female hair replacements. MaxHair Studio in chennai does hair replacement. They have such a bad response n worst service. There is no response to phone enquiries and they dont treat customers well. They charge a huge price for their product. They promise that their product is so different from a wig and looks very natural and there would be reasonable hair loss. I have been cheated badly by them as the piece looks worse, when asked they say tht they will remove it and fix it again,which is of no use.There is one lady named Githa who is a cheat ,told me tht the replacement would look natural and showed a demo piece...which look natural indeed,so i believed in her and paid the money . Finally when the hair piece came it looked like as if it was cut out from some wig , it had black net and the partion wasnt seen. when asked she said it would appear when the hair starts fallin out from the wig. i had to pay a huge amount of 65, 000 and now worry tht it looks like a piece of . If the complaint is made to them they say tht they will rectify.. i know which is of no use. Atleast when i was bald, people used to only stare at me. But now, they dont only stare but also wonder which tailor i went and gave my head to. Should i spend 65 000 for such an embarrassement? Please don get cheated by these people. They are horrible..
