It appears to be an unsolicited email made by unscrupulous elements in the name of Max Life Insurance. We reassure you that privacy of your policy data is o[censored]tmost importance to us. We have robust controls and Information Security framework to maintain the confidentiality of our policyholders’ information. However, information from various sources is being constructed and made to sound as authentic as possible by these fraudsters to scam customers. These fraudsters usually operate in well-organized cartels and pose a threat to customers across financial services industry as notified in recent press articles. We are glad that you are not lured by call from fraudsters offering you discounts on premium or promising you opportunities to cash-in on agent’s commission/ unpaid gains/ bonus on your policy etc. We request you to lodge a police complaint against such suspected fraudsters immediately and ensure stern action against them, with a copy marked to us(.
