[Resolved] Max Life Insurance — policy premium deducted without permission | |||
Dear Sir/Mam Wanted to tell you that 1 lac rs deducted from my Axis Bank Account on 28 Feb and without my Permission. Later when I checked and found it was Auto policy premium deduct from my account. I already asked customer Care to cancel the policy as I am not working any more and the money in the account was for some emergency. Please help I need my money back. Regards, Team Max Life Insurance Verified Support Mar 18, 2019 Max Life Insurance Customer Care's response Dear Pooja, We wish to clarify that the auto-facility in the policy has been activated basis your duly filled & signed ECS mandate form. To this effect, we had sent transactions to the concerned bank for debiting the renewal premium amount against Max Life policies. Further, we wish to clarify that we have not received any prior intimation/request for deactivating ECS/Auto-debit in policy records. Hence, we express our inability to refund the amount. In case if you want to deactivate auto-debit in policy records, please provide your consent for deactivating the ECS facility and for updating the future payment method as cash / cheque / demand draft / online payment so that you can pay the future premiums as per your convenience.
